This location was excellent for all our family's needs and the close proximity to beach and village was ideal. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and excellent communication with the owner.

We had a great stay. The location is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The house and kitchen were well stocked. The only con was that the temperature was unseasonably hot (94 in mid October) and there is no AC so the house can get pretty toasty on a hot day. But other than that we loved everything about our stay.

Very nice house, exactly as advertised. The host met us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the property. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns. We will stay here again next year.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house had plenty of space for our whole family and everything we needed for a fun day at the beach. When the weather didn’t cooperate, there was still plenty to do inside to keep everyone entertained. The home was clean, well-maintained, and incredibly well-equipped. The location couldn’t be beat, with the beach so close by! We also loved communicating with Bob, who was kind, gracious, and wonderful to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend this property to other families!

We had a great stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to prepare meals. The host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

What a wonderful beach house! Our family of four loved staying here. There was plenty of space to relax. We loved being a street back from the main road because it was so quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The owner was so kind and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place!

In town for daughter's wedding. House was a perfect spot for immediate family to stay, a small group dinner, and visits from wedding party. Bob was terrific to work with, great communication and accommodating of our needs. Hope to visit again when we can really enjoy the home and the area more !

Great Beach House

This was the best place we have ever stayed in Carlsbad. The house was stock with everything you could need and was incredibly convenient to the beach and the village. We loved it.

Close to the beach!

Perfect setting for a family. Plenty of room, quiet location, close to the beach and great rooftop deck. Centrally located between San Diego and Newport Beach. Highly recommend.

Short Get Away!

We had a fantastic time in Carlsbad - especially our rental property. Everyone had plenty of space, it was appointed with comfortable furnishings and we were walking distance to everything. We'll be back!

Awesome weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed our time in Carlsbad. It was a great location. It was a quick easy walk to the beach and close to many different restaurants. The set up was perfect. We have 3 kids plus one of my son’s friends that are 11-14. The kids slept downstairs which was fine with us but if we had younger children that set up might not be ideal. We appreciated all of the beach gear that was provided. We will definitely stay again!

Fabulous beach house

This is a fabulous home for a beach vacation and Bob is a lovely host who greeted us and gave us an instructional tour when we arrived. It is 1/2 block from the beach. It has ocean views from the patios and roof top deck. It is spacious, light and airy, clean, comfortable and the probably the most well-equipped vacation home we've visited. Furniture and beds are comfortable. The kitchen has lots of quality dishes and cooking supplies, and even coffee, tea, spices and oils. There are beach towels and extra bath towels and sheets, and a washer and dryer. The luxurious master shower has an array of faucet types. There are plenty of beach supplies, including a wagon. Parking is easy: a two car garage or park in driveway. The house and nearby beach are for people who can do stairs. There are two bedrooms on first floor, master bedroom and living area on second floor. We walked 15 minutes to a few good restaurants.

Ideal for a family get together

Our 3rd time at the Beach House and hopefully not our last. Great location close to the Beach and a 10 minute walk to the village. House has everything we need and the view of the sunset from the roof terrace is amazing. Can't wait to be back.

Perfect for cooking and enjoying meals. Great roof deck for sunset viewing. Well stocked kitchen. Great beach toys and items. Perfect for two couples and a baby. Close to beach. Owner very helpful
