Simple Mid-Century Elegance with Private Pool

The home's classic Mid Century post and beam architecture, high ceilings, and numerous windows allow an abundance of natural light into the premises.
Fire up the BBQ for dinner outside. Soak in the above ground hot tub. Enjoy the beautiful and private pool or lounge in one of the many seating areas poolside. Yard is fully fenced, gated and private. Enjoy the mountain view while lounging by the pool and at night you can watch the tram go up the mountain from the back yard.
Gated entryway with off-street parking.
There is a beautiful heart shaped pool in the main yard, which is for the exclusive use of guests. Pool is private. Above ground hot tub is heated year round. Pool can be heated from November 1 to February 28 at an additional cost of $50 per day (minimum of 2 days).

We had a great stay with our two small dogs. The pool & hot tub were clean & operable, the yard was fully fenced, the room spacious with everything we needed, and the price was good for the area.

Like Vacationing in a Josh Agle "lounge" art experience

From the approach of the property we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the lush landscape and the clean modern aesthetic. The gated entry welcomes you to an eclectic desert scape, patio with seating area and BBQ. Just beyond is the gated backyard with swimming pool adorned by fruit trees and ample seating/lounging areas.Once inside the unit we were welcomed with period appropriate interior design, art work and finishes. Staying here is like vacationing in a Josh Agle ("SHAG") lounge art experience.Kitchen has all the required necessities and added bonus: 2 candy apple red beach cruisers to explore the pride of ownership neighborhood.Ample sized bathroom and of note was the luxe sheets and pillow top or mattress on the bed. We had the most epic sleep here. Air purifier/white noise machine was a very nice touch. We utilized the dining table and couch seating areas in the evening with the slider open with the dreamy desert breeze wafting through the room.We utilized the jacuzzi (heated year round), must be brand new, super clean, a must do. Our final thoughts on this amazing stay.....every detail has been thoughtfully curated and created the most relaxing, enjoyable and highly memorable weekend.Well done!

Beautiful Sunny Palm Springs

We had a wonderful stay with private pool and hot tub. It is so darn cute and well maintained. It's a studio but quite large with plenty of room and separate kitchen. Robert was a great host and was available if we had any issues or concerns. We hope to make it back in the future. Thank you Robert.

Palm Springs Long Weekend

We loved staying here. Came to the desert for a concert and booked this place based on all the 5 star reviews. We are glad we did. Very cool Palm Springs vibe and close to all that you want to do when you are there!

Wonderful casita

This property was well appointed and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed having the yard space for our dog. The welcome bottle of wine and chilled glasses were a very nice touch and much appreciated!

A Piece of Paradise.

We loved this guest home. It had everything we needed. The outdoor space was beautiful very private, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with our dog. It felt very safe. Thank you for a great stay!

Another Great Stay

Can’t remember how many times that Robert has hosted us. We’ll be back. The casita is very roomy, perfect for a couple. Everything we need in the kitchen to make meals. Very private. Great outdoor space & pool.A little out of the way at the end of the airport, but just a few minutes from downtown Palm Springs and easy access to the rest of the valley.

Fabulous!

Great spot close to downtown and right by the airport. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds while having coffee out on the patio each morning. The pool was nice & private. Wish we could have stayed longer! Would love to return someday :)

The Essence of Palm Springs

The casita was pure Palm Springs. Just perfect for a couple. Beautiful accommodations. Done up in a Palm Spring aesthetic that was joyful to live in for a few days. The private pool and hot tub were perfect for unwinding. Definitely would stay there again.

Loved our time at the Hollywood House

This property shows even better in person than in photos online, and the history of the property is equally exciting. We really enjoyed our time spent there with the fabulous amenities, and our host was very kind and communicative when we had questions. We highly recommend staying here, and plan to do it ourselves again in the future!

Incredibly perfect vacation getaway

We LOVED this little house! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the pool was the perfect reprieve from the hot Palm Springs weather. The house was conveniently located, easy to find, and just a 5 minute drive to a bunch of excellent restaurants. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Great Stay!

My sister and I enjoyed our short stay. Better than we expected easy check in process, house was very clean, well equipped with kitchen tools, TV had apps to watch your fav shows or movie and our favorite part was the pool felt right at home and private, would def stay here again!

Perfect getaway

This was one of our most relaxing vacations. If you are looking for a place to chill in a beautiful private setting, this is it. We could feel the history all around us. The interior and outdoor pool area is perfectly furnished and decorated to match the mid-century modern home. It was a hot time of year but was no problem thanks to the pool and plenty of shade thanks to the spectacular landscaping & lounging areas. We took advantage of the great location and spent mornings touring the neighborhoods followed by brunch, pool during the day, with dinner out at night. All of the great restaurants and sights are not far. We never drove more than 10 minutes to get anywhere. To top it off, the home was super clean with all the conveniences. We highly recommend this home!

Live here with my two Irish Setters. They are very gentle and sweet. They do not have access to any of the guest areas.

Guest house was built for Elizabeth Taylor and Eva Gabor that came to visit the second home owner. It is very spacious and has the same Mid-Century Modern architectural style as the main house.
The neighborhood is a time warp from the 1950's and 1960's. It has been beautifully restored.
