2 bedroom lower unit in a beautiful Victorian duplex. Located on West Kiowa St which is walking distance from Old Colorado City with local shops, restaurants and bars. Garden level unit has living room with 55" Samsung HD Smart TV with Roku, pull out sofa with queen size memory foam mattress, work station and Wi-Fi. Fully stocked kitchen and quartz counter tops with stools. Two bedrooms with queen size beds. One bathroom with bathtub/shower. Outside is a shared fenced in yard with a gas grill and tables .

Great location

I did not read well to know there are 2 units in the house. We were in the bottom unit. It was clean and nice-we did not cook at all but the kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend and would stay here again.

Pet friendly location

Loved the location. The place was perfect for our little dog and allowed a small area to allow for walking her to let her exercise and so her daily business. The rooms, bathroom and kitchen were clean. Small problem with the internet - but after contacting the host everything was resolved quickly. We will return.

Had a good time here!

My boyfriend and I had a great time during our stay, the bed was comfy and clean, the kitchen/dining room/living room was nice and spacious and the bathroom was clean and had enough counter space for my makeup which was nice. The only complaints I have is that the dishwasher took a long time to clean the dishes (we cooked a lot) and the floors were dirty so I had to wear socks the whole time. Overall though, great stay :)

Host needs to fix things

I would only stay here if you ask the host directly if the air conditioning works, the dishwasher and toilet seat have been fixed. If everything is in working order, it is an average place to stay. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive when we needed towels that were not there and also gave us a bottle of wine.

Listing very misleading, NO communication

We booked this property because the listing had everything we needed. Check in was 4pm. After driving 9 1/2 hours we arrived at 4 but didn't have the code to gain access. I called twice but got no response. 10 minutes later I received a text with the information. The mattress on the pull out sofa was supposed to be memory foam but it was a box spring (still in the plastic). We had planned on using the sofa bed, but there were no extra sheets or pillowcases for it. There were only blankets that all needed washed. When we did pull out the sofa, there were fingernail clippings and popcorn kernals. There was no coffee provided, as mentioned. We booked 6 nights here and I messaged the owner on day 2 regarding these concerns but received no response.

Deceiving listing on VRBO

The pictures online do not accurately describe the rental property. The bath needs major updating, there are ants in the bathroom and kitchen. The garbage containers outside had not been emptied in weeks (we know because both were so full we could not put the bag we used for our stay in either and had to leave it in the laundry room). The kitchen is nice. The whole unit was damp. Unless you have personal accounts for HULU, or other streaming services, you can not access the television. The steps into the building need to be replaced, they are in disrepair.

Great location in Old Colorado City

This place is located within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shops on Colorado Avenue. Parking behind the place is perfect. The only downside to the place is it has hot water heat and being downstairs in the front bedroom you hear water circulating at night when it is cold out which made it hard to sleep since I can be a light sleeper. If you want a place that is clean and close to everything Old Colorado City this is a great place to be. Plus it is a straight shot into Manitou Springs and super close to Garden of the Gods.

Location was great. Close to lots of good restaurants, parks, shopping. Very short drive to great mountain biking, hiking, Garden of the Gods, etc.

Cute 'basement" apartment - Very Comfortable

We enjoyed our time in CS. The house is conveniently located and best suited for small dogs. There is a park two blocks down and there was plenty of kitchenware in order to cook as needed.

Colorado Springs Vacay

The two bedroom downstairs apartment was stylishly furnished an located within easy walk to Old Colorado Springs main shopping and dining. Location was perfect. Would have like more response prior to day before check-in on a couple questions concerning pets but all-in-in all we had a wonderful vacation.

Disappointing

We booked this 2BR unit for 4 nights. We were disappointed to find it dirty. The sheets had hair on them. The floors were dirty. I wiped off the cabinet knobs and doorknobs with Lysol wipes they were black! Using paper trowels on the floor also turned up black. When we contacted the owner with our concerns, she offered to refund our credit card for 3 nights. It was evening so we bought sheets and more cleaning supplies so we could stay the night We were out by 10:00 AM and had to pay out more money for a hotel to finish our vacation. Nearly 2 weeks now. No refund as promised & won't even respond to calls/ messages. Very expensive & disappointing.
