Renovated 1880's Home. An updated historic cottage located between Manitou Springs & Old Colorado City, just a few blocks from the Garden of the Gods. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and local cultural arts. Conveniently located close to many outdoor attractions. The home has been fully outfitted with new furnishings, fresh paint & has a wonderful front porch for people watching & views of Pikes Peak. And backyard for relaxing or grilling out. Private parking at the back, grocery store, gym, restaurants are literally right across the street. If you're looking for convenience and relaxation, this is the place to be.
*Please note that there are exterior security cameras in the parking area and front & back areas* there is no washer & dryer, but the laundromat is very close across the road.

The Emerald Nest was very cozy, inviting and clean. Host Cindy is very easy to deal with. If you like wild life, we saw deer in the yard almost every day. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful weekend in this lovely home. The location was close to Manitou, Old Colorado City, and Garden of the Gods. It was walkable and quiet. Beds and sitting areas very very comfortable.

It definitely had that cozy cottage feel! The beds were comfortable, the master bedroom was spacious, and it was in a good location for all the places we wanted to go to visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was centrally located to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak etc! Liked that we could sit in both the front and back of the house. The only drawback is that the kitchen is small, only 1 person can be in there at a time.

Great place to stay!

The home was very comfortable and a nicely decorated! We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The beds were oh so comfortable! So many things to see and do close by. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great rental property! Clean and comfortable beds, great location, cozy house. While one bathroom for 3 bedrooms can be more difficult, the bathroom was spacious and well equipped so we were more than happy. Likewise, the kitchen was on the tiny side but more than well equipped enough to do the job. The only downside was a lack of a stove exhaust vent and a knife sharpener but both were not too problematic at all. The host was also very communicative and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re interested in hiking around manitou springs or garden of the gods.

Beautiful home in a great location near center Manitou and Old Colorado City. Clean and comfortable! Stayed for the weekend to hike the Manitou Incline and attend a concert at the Ford Amphitheater.

Cozy home base with quirky charm

We loved staying at the Emerald Nest. More than enough space to get comfortable, and perfectly located to visit Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods.

Birthday trip

We were there for my sisters birthday. OCC and Manitou Springs we both such cute towns. Lots to do for all ages. The Garden of the Gods was stunning.

This cottage was perfectly cozy for meeting up with our college kid for a weekend. It was a perfect blend of cozy space-indoors and out-but also ample bed space for everyone to get a good night's sleep. The snacks were a welcime treat after a long day of travel. Clean, comfortable and cozy!Easy access to Garden of the Gods and Manitou restaurants and stores. We also enjoyed hiking at North Cheyenne Canyon and dining at Mausum.

We chose this property because of its historic appeal and close proximity to Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City and Garden of the Gods park. It is very convenient to everything local and easy in and out as well. Beautiful sitting porch with a view of Pikes peak, nice and private back yard for evenings around the fire, and ample parking for large families or people traveling together!
