House of the Sun top floor 2/2 LAST MINUTE DEALS FOR OCTOBER

We are right on the beach! Location can't be beat! We are one block from the south Bridge (Stickney Point Bridge). Convenience is key to a vacation. You can walk to the grocery, to restaurants, shops, rentals, Ice cream, and so much more. Traffic can get congested on Siesta Key, but at this location, you can drive on and off the key with ease.
Did you know that Siesta Key also has a free Trolley called The Breeze and you can just wave it down in front of our building and take it anywhere on the key...for free!!

This unit is on the top floor, unit 504. A reserved parking space for this unit is under the building, very close to one of the two elevators. Your car will always be cool and comfortable.

The condo has a fully equipped kitchen: Fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, double deep sinks, disposal, and a washer and dryer. FREE WIFI.

Sheets, towels and beach towels are provided. Paper products, dishwasher soaps, bar soaps, hand soaps, and cleaning products and filters for the Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffeemaker are all in the condo and it will feel very much like home.

The complex of House of the Sun provides lounge chairs on our section of the beach. Beach umbrellas can be rented and placed for you by our attendant.
Lounge by our heated pool, play some tennis, video games, ping-pong or relax and/or work in the rec room while the kids are in the pool.

Guests of House of the Sun enjoy bringing their evening cocktails and snacks to the FIFTH FLOOR DECK. The atmosphere is fun and casual and friendships have been made from this great fifth floor deck with beautiful panoramic views of our beach with its gorgeous white sand. Guests who stay at House of the Sun tend to come back year after year, and I hope that you will, too!

Winter Getaway

Had a great winter escape to the white sands of Siesta Key. Beautiful condo with easy access to shops, restaurants and night life. Incredible staff and impressive clean, safe, property!

Beautiful condo and lots of fun!

Condo was very clean, looks brand new! My friends and I loved the location, right across the bridge and within walking distance to some fun bars/restaurants.

This was a lovely place to stay. I’ve wanted to stay here for years and have wanted to get on that deck for sunset for so long! Finally!! Nice amenities, close to several places to eat, and trolley stops; owner was great to deal with.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was idea for myself and my wife. The location was splendid ,close to the soft sanded beach. The condo was well stocked with all you need to make your vacation comfortable. Didn’t want to leave!

Baird Beach Vacation

Our group of four all gave the highest marks to House of the Sun #504. On a scale of 5 stars it rated a 6. The unit was very nice and well provided. Donna the owner was excellent to communicate with and she gave lots of information about the surrounding area as well. If you get the opportunity to rent this unit we would highly recommend it.

Great location

This condo was immaculate. The owner is easy to work with. There are lots of “rules” but they help keep the place clean and in excellent condition. There is covered parking and a swimming pool. The lock on the key pad in the parking area didn’t work but someone from the condo management got hold of the owner for us and fixed it immediately. The condo is on the most beautiful beach. The free trolley takes you to an area full of restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back!

Great location, responsive owner

Donna is extremely responsive all the way through the process. She's exactly what you'd want from a host. The condo is older but was clean and comfortable, and the location is great -- at the south part of the beach. Easy to access other areas of Siesta Key (including the village) using the trolley and other free options. We liked being across from a few restaurants/bars including a Daiquiri Deck and there is a small grocery and drug store too within a block along with a Publix back on the mainland. The beach is great - no need to go anywhere, but it's a little over a mile to walk up to the main beach where there's a pavilion and food/drink. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful and perfect beachfront getaway!

This property was perfect for my beach vacation! It has everything you can think of available to you, private beach, pool, barbecue area, grocery store across the street, walking distance to local restaurants, etc. We spent one day taking the free taxi to the Village for shopping and drinks and another just staying by the condo the whole day! You can go to the beach, then cool off in the pool, play tennis and then cook your own burgers and relax to watch the sunset from the roof top (which is amazing!) The owner is very nice and was responsive to all my questions. The basics were provided to us with towels, sheets, kitchen utensils, etc. Everything was clean and very welcoming. I would absolutely stay there again. Thanks for the lovely stay and happy memories!

Our trip was amazing. The condo was perfect. Its spacious, clean, perfect location, well stocked & comfortable. Donna, the host, was wonderful. She covered everything. Directions, activities, restaurants & beach info. She was very quick to respond to all questions. The other tenants in the building were super nice as well. We will definitely be back. She made us feel at home. Thank you Donna for everything!

We had a great stay at House of the Sun. The property is older.and getting a hallway/elevator overhaul, but that didn't interfere with our stay. The elevator. lisest to our unit was bot working and that was a pretty big inconvenience, but we made due. We didn't take off stars for the elevator because there was a second one. The broken one is getting upgraded sometime soon a maintenance guy told us.The room was a pleasant surprise to the hallway (which is getting new flooring/upgrade). Condo was very comfortable, spacious and well accommodated. Had everything we needed and more.Property was very convenient to restaurants/shops and the beach is right there. Its also so easy to jump in car to run to Publix which is just over a mile away.

Donna was very responsive to all of our needs! The condo is clean and comfortable. We appreciated having access to chairs on the beach every day. This is a perfect place for a small family (2 adults, 2 teens) to stay. We really enjoyed our stay!

So convenient to the pool and the beach. Can’t beat sunset happy hour on the terrace

The one disturbing aspect was the loud music from the bar across the street. It went on until midnight- 1am. Sitting on the deck or in the second bedroom it was the worse. It started around 3-4 every afternoon. The only other issue we had was the tv in the second bedroom had very poor quality and shouldn’t have been listed as functional. Overall our stay was as communicated. The Apt was immaculate and very comfortable

Nice and clean/bar across the street is LOUD

Donna provided detailed instructions for check-in, which went smooth. The condo was clean and provided all the essentials that we would initially need (there is a grocery store across the street for other supplies). We took advantage of the beach chairs she provided and appreciated the beach towels. The location is perfect but be aware, the bar music across the street gets EXTREMELY loud in the evenings and can be heard inside the condo. It's even more annoying when sitting outside on the patio-not a deal breaker but something to note. It's obvious Donna cares about her condo, which we appreciated and reciprocated. We'll be coming back for sure! Thank you.

35th anniversary stay

Wonderful place to stay. Super clean & close to alot of things.Trolley stop out front to take you to "The Village" which is 2-3 miles away & has lots of little shops & eating places. Condo on beach side of street. Unit had things like fans(i sleep with fan noise), blow dryers etc. Great host!

Perfect Location

This was our first time on Siesta Key and couldn't have found a better location. The beach was phenomenal, soft, cool sand, shallow calm waters and easy access. We loved having beach chairs set up for us each day. There were multiple restaurants right across the street to choose from and easy access to the free trolley to bring us to the Village. We were worried the loud music from the restaurants would be an issue - but it really wasn't! We enjoyed hearing it at night on the patio, but as soon as we closed the patio doors we couldn't hear it inside! We were thrilled. The condo itself had everything we needed, including reserved parking! It was clean and well cared for. My only suggestion would be new mattresses and pillows. We like a firm mattress, but this was exceptionally hard. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

Siesta Key has been my home away from Ohio for over 25 years. About 14 years ago we purchased our first condo on Siesta and to date, we have 3 condos that we offer. We have two 2-bedroom units at House of the Sun and a 3 bedroom condo at The Anchorage. They are all within close proximity to each other and located at the very popular south bridge with shops, restaurants, bars, grocery all within walking distance. Dave and I are on Siesta Key from January to the end of April every year and then back again for October and November. You will find Siesta Key information and updates on my Siesta Key Facebook Page with regard to happenings on the key. For those of you who are coming down for just a few days and do not want to rent a car, Siesta Key has a Free Trolley Service called Breeze Trolley, and the Trolley runs 7 days a week taking travellers from one end of Siesta Key to the other. Por qué eligió esta propiedad

I own two condos at House of the Sun because it is well run, the owners take the time to know one-another, and has a friendly atmosphere. The fourth and fifth floor decks are something that very few complexes have on the key. Being able to walk across the street for cocktails at Sniki Tiki, or Captain Curts famous Clam Chowder, or dinner at Claytons or Miguels, or just running across the street to the Crescent Market for some cream for coffee in the morning, make this location so worth-while. Another big plus is that we do not have to deal with the slow-moving traffic to get on and off of the key. So, the long and short end of this story is, GREAT COMPLEX, GREAT LOCATION, ON THE BEACH, EASE TO GET ON AND OFF OF THE KEY.
