We've stayed at the Redbird cottage since 2014 and it is a vacation near Lake Michigan and the impressive nearby bike trails to which we look forward to all year.

This property is an absolute gem! Located in a quiet neighborhood and is walking distance to both Lake Michigan and Lake Muskegon, hiking trails, and the beach. Super clean and all the comforts of home. It was nice to have a fire in the fire pit out back after a long day exploring. Ed was the best host! Communication was so easy! We will definitely return to Redbird Cottage! Thank you Ed!

We were comfortable as a family of 6 in Red Bird Cottage. The pictures were just like the property. We had all we needed. Beds were comfortable and everything neat and clean.We enjoyed the beach and walks through the neighborhood. We will return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. The house was beautifully decorated, spotless, and well stocked with kitchen supplies. We traveled with two kids, and Ed thoughtfully put out toys, children's books, and brand-new dinnerwares for them. We all had a great time exploring Muskegon and playing at the beaches. Ed, thank you so much for hosting us. It was an amazing week.

Everything we expected and more for our time at the beach. We loved being able to walk to the beach and dunes. Rode the bikes on the boardwalk and down to the Deck for dinner and music, We will be back.

Beautiful Cottage, walkable to two lakes

We loved the cottage and the location! Walking and/or a 90 second drive to the beach on Lake Michigan was amazingly convenient.

Perect little cottage for a long weekend. Everything was clean, the place well stocked. We took advantage of the bikes for trips over to the beach and The Deck. Ed was a great host. Would recommend.

Great summer vacation spot!

Ed was a great host, and the house was very clean and tidy. I recommend it for any family/guest looking for a place in a quiet community within a 10 minute walk from the beach on Lake Michigan.

Great location

Worked well for us, cute house just beware of short ceiling height in bedrooms, for family members over 6 feet was awkward, regardless host and ameniti s very nice would book again.

The house was very clean and stocked with everything that we needed.

House is in very good condition for the age it has to be. Very clean and comfy.

Our neighborhood has a lot of history going back to vaudeville days ( silent movies). Our house is updated with all modern conveniences

Cute, Clean Property in a Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Red Bird cottage! The house was clean, inviting and had everything we needed. Ed was very welcoming and attentive. I would highly recommend staying at this property and look forward to returning in the near future!

Clean, comfortable, convenient rental

The Redbird cottage is a wonderful place to relax, very close to the incredible beach at Pere Marquette state park. Modern kitchen, shower with on-demand hot water and great pressure, and the host, Ed, is very accommodating and responsive. We can highly recommend this property.
