River View A-Frame Cabin in Yosemite National Park

Riverview is a beautiful, wooden, two-story, A-Frame cabin, with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the South Fork of the Merced River. The open plan living and dining area includes gorgeous floor to ceiling glass and a Fireplace. Major remodeling to the kitchen completed on Feb. 15, 2022. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a master suite, this charming cabin accommodates families and groups. Extra sleeping is available in the loft. Nestled in the quaint village of Wawona inside Yosemite National Park, Riverview cabin allows for the full Yosemite National Park experience. For 2024 you will not need a reservation to enter the Park when you are staying at my cabin which is inside the Park.

Yosemite National Park will require advanced reservations to get in for most dates in 2024, which can be difficult to get. But for 2024 reservations are required when you are not staying at a cabin inside the Park. You must still pay the vehicle pass to get in ($35).


Feel free to email me any questions you may have, whether you rented this cabin in the past or if it is your first time. I have been renting on VRBO for 20 years in Wawona.

Great river view

Our 3-generation family has a wonderful stay. Rooms were very comfortable. We all enjoyed the deck with the view of the river and the sound of the babbling stream.

Weekend getaway

We picked this place based on good pictures and closeness to the creek below. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and plenty of room for 4 adults. Loved being in the park and close to everything we needed. Upstairs room was a little hot but everything else was very good!

Thanksgiving in Yosemite

Cozy cabin in a beautiful location. Well appointed, although a blow dryer in the master bath would be nice. The WiFi was pretty slow; that was a blessing in disguise, we did not watch TV while we were there!

Amazing house in Yosemite

The house was so comfortable for our family group. It was conveniently located within Yosemite park, so there was no hassle having to enter each day. It was a little difficult to locate in the dark with limited cell signal, but once we found it, everything was perfect.

Beautiful setting and a reasonable drive to Yosemite Valley

The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we found everything we needed for our meals at the Pines Market. We enjoyed the river view and would recommend this house to other visitors.

Great place to stay in Yosemite

Wawona is a wonderful area to explore. Mariposa Grove is nearby. The spectacular valley is an hour drive away. But who wants to leave this home on the river, with its amazing cathedral ceilings, window and back deck overlooking the river.

Perfect stay in Wawona

A perfect stay for our family vacation to Yosemite. Clean, conveniently located and cozy environment. The highlight of our stay was sitting on the back deck listening to the creek in the evening. I cannot describe how beautiful this place is. The cabin felt so homey and and warm. The view is incredible and cabin felt perfect as the rain poured. I loved having my birthday here and making a full meal in Yosemite was delightful. Bring socks!

Exceeded our expectations on many levels

This home is a magical place to stay. It is very comfortable and has all amenities you can imagine. Susan is a wonderful hostess. There is a beautiful private waterhole that I swim in the last day of our trip. Maybe one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. This home would be great in any type of weather and I would say the host is a super host. The cleaner was very friendly also. The beds are comfortable. It’s very quiet.

Wawona hidden gem

We picked this cabin specifically to stay inside the park and avoid entrance time windows. The interior is very nice with updated bathrooms and kitchen appliances. Plenty of cooking utensils, plates and even a new gas grill. As the listing indicates, WiFi and internet streaming is slow and spotty. There is no AC, however the cabin remained comfortable even with 85 degree temps. The host was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

I am a third generation farmer near Fresno. We grow grapes, almonds and pistachios. I have had a love for the mountains ever since i was young. I spend a lot of time water skiing with my husband. We spend a lot of the winter in Costa Rica water skiing.
My sister and i just purchased this cabin together in 2017. We have had 2 other cabins before this one. We were excited to purchase a A-Frame cabin near the river. Something about hearing the river running that you cant get in very many cabins here. Hope you will enjoy this new cabin as much as we are looking forward to time up at the cabin

We have had a cabin in Wawona for the last 25 years. Always wanted a A-Frame near the river. There is not much of a turn over of cabins in Wawona. Most are held in the family for generations. There are really very few cabins inside Yosemite National Park. So when this one came available, we just bought it Nov. 2017.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Walk down to the river. Great swimming place right close to the cabin. Nice large deck that is in the shade. Enjoy seeing the river from the cabin and mostly hearing the river running from the cabin.
