My sister and I were in for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Condo was nicely decorated. Only suggestion would be to replace living room chairs with reclining chairs. Nothing in living room reclines. Not happy with Carolina Beach's exorbitant parking costs. I got a 48 ticket before I realized how pay to park works. 10 for 2 hours when you do use app to pay is RIDICULOUS and should be changed!What other beach does this?

Beautiful beachfront condo, and the elevator was the selling point!! After hauling up belongings, food, bags of necessary stuff for a 10 day vacation at the beach in years past we decided that an elevator was the answer… and it was. Made move in/ move out so quick and easy that we brought as much as we wanted! Perfect space with 2 beds/ 2 baths and the best view is the world!! Kitchen had what we needed for cooking most meals in, and it was a comfortable and cozy space. Great washer and dryer so we could travel home with clothes clean so unpacking at the end of vacation is easy and stress free. Beautiful sunrises are always on the agenda, and we made it through the tropical storm in one piece. Hope to be back again next year.

Elevator was very convenient. The ocean view was fabulous. Shower was great. Condo was very clean but for some reason the refrigerator had a horrible fish smell. It got into everything we brought with us and I had to throw out most of my food. And clean any containers with bleach when I got home. I hope they are able to get that smell out. Refrigerator was very clean with no visible reason for smell. No filtered water so be sure to bring bottled water.

They needed to clean the porch/ deck of bird feces, feathers, slimy poop! You couldn’t walk out there, sit out there, stand, couldn’t breathe because of the smell. We looked for a condo with a deck for that purpose. The condo itself was not rented I. A long while because it was dusty.

With exterior construction taking place at the building, we should have been more attentive to the possibility of construction dust affecting the unit, even though the home had been cleaned and hosted other guests just four days prior. Great location, had a small issue with garbage disposal and bathroom sink. Both were resolved.

The place was clean except for the deck. It took a bit of time due to all of the bird poop. Cushions were soaked and to be be dried due to the metal covering under the deck having been removed . Call the management to blow off all the sand which they did quickly after I called. Not as quiet as we had hoped. Neighbors upstairs were loud. Then our second week the condo was removing all of the metal coverings on owners decks, rather loud, power washing….. great access to the beach, nice view but if I were to come back I would get a room on the upper floor and ask if there was any maintenance scheduled. Not a 10/10 on VRBO. I would give it 7.5

Chillin at Carolina Beach

We truly enjoyed our stay at Carolina Sunrise…beach front location, for ease getting to the beach, pool, close to downtown Carolina beach and elevator was truly appreciated by my knees (lol) Beautiful sunrise and full strawberry moon!!!

Very nice property but there were a couple hiccups

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property was perfect for our stay. The condo was very comfortable, nicely appointed, had a wonderful view and the beach was easy to access. Kitchen supplies were good but not great. There were, however, a few minor issues that detracted from the experience. Our son found that the supplied sheets did not seem completely clean and so attempted to wash them only to find the dryer was not working. Reported this issue to A1 property managements night service but did not get a call back the next day and they later claimed they never received the message. After several more calls they became very responsive but were never able to schedule a repair during our stay. Later in our stay pest control showed up without prior notice, unlocked the door and entered while my wife was in the bathroom. Not cool. Property management offered to change the lock but that never happened either. Very nice place but uneven management.

Very Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. The location to beach was very convenient. Overall, quiet property and no complaints. The condo was furnished with everything we could possibly need. Would definitely recommend.

The condo was just great!! Weather was beautiful and we enjoyed being able to cook our own meals in the nicely remodeled kitchen. We were very surprised at how soundproof the condo was and couldn’t hear each other in the separate bedrooms. We will definitely be back next year and hope to continue this as an annual tradition at Carolina Beach.

A wonderful “Parents-moon”.

The condo was beautiful, so clean, and comfortable. We needed a vacation after our daughter’s wedding and this was so relaxing! We could walk to eat, the beach view was perfect and the elevator saved our backs! We will be back!

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Carolina Sunrise! Location was perfect. Decor of the home was warm and inviting. Owners added many special touches to ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed! Thank you again for allowing us the privilege of renting your home!

Enjoyed the stay Thankful the elevator worked as my mother is 87 and luggage would have been a challenge.. Only suggestion is a better sitting sofa.

Nice color layout inside = fresh appearances, appeared to have all special use items for bedrooms.
