Amazing Resort

Amazing condo with the best host, always there when the questions or concerns came rolling in, the resort had everything you needed and more! I would definitely stay there again.

My family and I had a fabulous time at this resort. It was very spacious and modern. The resort had lots of activities and entertainment. The accommodations exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful!

The condo was spacious and clean. Very happy with the pools, lazy rivers and restaurants. Looking forward to returning next year!!!

Convenient and comfortable

The condo was very nice and spacious for our group of 7. Our children thoroughly enjoyed all of the condo amenities, especially the heated pools!

Beautiful Resort

The resort is beautiful, clean, and great for families. The fully equipped kitchen is handy, the beds are very comfortable, and the lake view is so pretty. The pools are fantastic! We love the landscaping when walking around and feeding the ducks, too. And having separate bedrooms and bathrooms for our family is priceless. Just an overall wonderful place minutes away from Disney.

Amazing Disney Experience

We came for Disney, but we are a family of 5 and wanted a little more space than the park resorts (without paying for it)! We got everything we wanted and more! Plenty of space, wonderful amenities, and so close to everything. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation

This was our second time at Bonnet Creek. Beautiful property, 5 pools, 2 lazy rivers, child water area. All very well maintained. Unit exactly as pictured. Attentive property staff. Lots of activities. We viewed fireworks from Epcot from our balcony. Convenient to all of the parks. We'll be back!

Great resort on Disney property

This resort is a great place to be in n the middle of the Disney parks. It is clean, the rooms are comfortable and lots of amenities! Booking with Cathy was easy!

Vacation paradise

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The condo and resort were very clean, and the pools and lazy rivers were fun for the entire family. Food was fantastic however, I’m giving an overall four stars because I wish there were more restaurants/menu choices. We will be back and enjoy more time at the resort.

I've stayed at Bonnet Creek many times and have enjoyed it each time. This is the first time that I have booked a reservation through Catherine Jensen. She was helpful, very approachable and kept in contact with me. She was great. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you.

Amazing Resort

This was our first time at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. We had only stayed at Disney deluxe and moderate hotels in all our previous trips. Bonnet Creek is amazing! Our 2 bedroom condo was huge, plenty of room for 4 people. We cooked two meals a day and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had groceries delivered from instacart right to our building. We took Lyft rides everywhere! This place is close to everything Disney! Thank you Cathy!

2/10 Terrible

Though the resort and condo were beautiful, it was infested with bed bugs.

I began getting bit by some sort of “bug” from our 1st night and continued every night thereafter, that turned into “welt” looking bites on my arm, back and hands. We checked our bed after the 2nd night but came up with nothing until our last night (7th night) or very early morning before checkout, 4:30am. We have pictures and video of bed bugs crawling on our pillows! Gross! When I checked out with the front desk, I did not feel any apologetic response, but “This happens sometimes.” What???? We had a flight to catch at 6:50am so I needed to deal with this once I returned to NJ. A week later from checkout, which is today, I still have these itchy welts all over. Not to mention, the amount of laundering and money spent to prevent any of the bed bugs infesting my home! There was nothing Wyndham could do for me as I rented through VRBO, though the bug company they used confirmed the bed bug infestation via phone call. When I spoke via email with my contact on VRBO, she did apologize but still sent a threatening email of being “blacklisted” on VRBO because I asked for my money back on my stay. Long story short, I did receive a small compensation from Wyndham and return in monies from VRBO, but not after I had to demand that nothing short of what I paid my contact through VRBO would be acceptable. This was my first time using VRBO and most likely my last. As for Wyndham, a hotel that prides themselves on being a 5 star resort that pushes for timeshare purchase, should take higher measures in checking for these bugs, especially in Disney World, as this is a highly world traveled destination.

Although I personally was not responsible for the situation with Wyndham, I did refund the guest the full amount, even though I still had to pay Wyndham for their stay. I am sincerely sorry for what happened, even though it was totally out of my control and not my fault I am not able to pay for everyone's vacation in full, and thus told the guest I would not be able to rent to her again. Her refund came from me, not Wyndham. Wyndham did not refund more than 25% of her payment. I, personally, covered the rest. Since she did actually stay at the resort, I find that somewhat unreasonable. In addition to a full refund, the guest also received a $250 gift card from Wyndham. I think that more than compensates.
