RESERVATIONS UPON REQUEST.*Charming 1930's cottage in the heart of Historic Downtown Franklin, TN. The Dahl House is comfy, cozy and romantic and just a block off famous 5 points. Walk to Main Street, The Franklin Theatre, Civil War Mueseums, the Antique District, coffee shops, ice cream parlors & all the boutique shops & restaurants. The home offers a gourmet kitchen, dining room, office space, laundry, DirectTV/wifi/netflix and porch living complete with porch swing, chess table & adirondacks. You are less than 20 minutes to downtown Nashville and 10 minutes to Leipers Fork Village.

House was built in 1935 and so were the pipes :) please don’t flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. Anything else will clog & cause back up

A very nicely decorated place in a great location in Historic downtown Franklin. Timely communication from the Host was appreciated. We had a great stay and will return.

Such a cute cottage near downtown. Close to everything in downtown Franklin. House was very clean and so charming. We had a great stay and can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful and convenient

This charming home is so convenient. We loved walking into town and then coming back to relax. It was well setup for a quick girls trip where our goals were to relax and catch up with one another. Can’t wait to return!

A lovely House!

First, I have to say that this house is even better than the pictures. It was a 7-minute walk to downtown and all of the restaurants. It was absolutely lovely. I will be back!

A Gem!

The Dahl House is truly charming and special. Beautifully decorated and well appointed with anything and everything we needed. The location is fantastic. Waking distance to Main Street. Communication with Nanci was stellar throughout the process. We highly recommend the Dahl House to all future guests and will plan to stay again next time we are in town.

The Dahl house was beautiful and a perfect location to downtown Franklin. The host Nanci was very friendly and hospitable. We truly enjoyed our 4 day stay in Franklin and great location to visit other towns, Leiper’s fork, Nolensville, and Nashville.

Family weekend

We absolutely loved this house. Perfect location for my daughter and grandson to meet me at our halfway point between Georgia/Memphis. Only wish we had access to the fire pit. But we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you!!

Extremely comfortable home

Used house as a base for visiting son and family at Brownland Farm during hunter/jumper horse show. Felt very safe coming home alone at night. And house very convenient to downtown Franklin and Cool Springs. Will definitely stay again for other horse shows.

Wedding in Leipers Fork, TN

Stayed two nights in June 2024 while in town for a wedding in nearby Leipers Fork. Had great communication with the owner. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen very functional. The only issue we ran into was that there wasn't DirecTV or any cable TV. WiFi didn't work very well either. Neither was a big issue for us though.

Wonderful Home!!!

We LOVED our stay at the Dahl House! The home itself is charming, lots of character, and perfectly clean. The front porch swings and Adirondack chairs were a big hit and we hung out there a lot. The kitchen is new, but classic and staying with the look of the home. The location just can’t be beat. We walked a lot while staying there. The Franklin square is one block over. Can’t say enough about this place! I left some of our clothes hanging on the back of the bedroom door and Nanci was great about helping me get them back. Highly recommend the Dahl House!!

Fall Getaway to Franklin

We just spent a great weekend in Franklin with our 16 and 13 year old at the beautiful Dahl house. The home has so much character but has been beautifully restored and decorated. The living room furniture was so comfy for our evenings back at the house and we slept like rocks in the super comfortable beds. All the perfectly placed fall decor put us right in the mood. We enjoyed Gentry Farms one day and Nashville on another. And of course, the PumpkinFest downtown was so fun and it was great to be able to walk there from the house and not have to worry about parking. Thank you again for sharing your home with us. We look forward to a return.

Awe thank you! I’m so happy you loved your stay. It’s my favorite thing to decorate for the holidays and then to just be able to be in the heart of the actions of the downtown Franklin festivals and walk there…I’m so happy your family got to experience that. please come back anytime!
