Perfect Vacation!

We were right on the beach with easy access to restaurants, rentals and grocery store. Surf Style staff is very communicative in answer to any questions!

Magical Place to Stay!

We've stayed at Beach Break twice and it never disappoints! The ocean view is spectacular and can be seen from multiple areas of the house! The beds are so comfortable after a long day on the beach! Plenty of room for your family and the bay is just a quick walk from the house! You can't go wrong staying at Beach Break!!

Great location, floors looked and felt like they had never been cleaned, soap dispensers not filled, no laundry soap, sink drain not working, hot tub was a great feature! I would stay in the location again but look for another house.

Perfect for all ages

The two units provided more than enough space for our family. The garages provided safe parking and had all things beach related. We came from LA but felt like we were on vacation far away! Mission Beach accommodations were great. Was a favorite of the family for sure!

Great offering

Great offering, clean (even the hot tub!), well stocked, amazing location, and plenty of space for our group of 15. Only wish was weren't allowed an 11a checkout, but we understood guests arriving and 10a was fine. We'd return.

Huge Hit!!!

This offering of the front and back townhouse was a huge hit with our group of 16! We loved the location since it was a bit less crowded. The hot tub was sooo relaxing. The accommodations were great and had more than what we needed, except the floors were a little dirty but everything else was very clean.

Perfect Location

We stayed in the two condos with our adult children and our 6 grandchildren. It was perfect! Literally steps from the sand, which made it so easy! Restaurants, coffee shops and shops all within short walking distance. The condos were well equipped with beach chairs and beach towels, fans, rollaway beds, baby gate. Nothing fancy….but exactly what you want for the beach. Great communication with host. Definitely recommend.

I'll Be Bach

Wonderful house, location and great for family gathering. plenty of dishes, pans and generous with toiletries. The master bedroom has great view and a comfortable bed. Checkin very easy and management responded quickly to questions answered issues. no a/c but the house has a very good flow through of air and was very comfortable. We recommend this property!

Great location but outdated home

This property is a two part rental that includes both the side and front unit. I would rent the side unit again but the layout of the front unit was quite awkward. It was something we were able to overlook because of the proximity to the beach but it could be a concern for some.

Great but super sandy

We arrived after a storm which broke front gate which was never fixed. We dug out the sand on front patio. Both front and rear units had lots of sand everywhere from the winds I am assuming. All in all the 9 of us had a great time.

good start to the holiday season

Our extended family decided to get a head start to the holiday season and do a quick getaway. We had 14 guests, but with the different levels and various sleeping areas it didn’t feel cramped. Kitchens were well stocked, though we didn’t do much cooking. The views are a MUST SEE. The Surf Style manager gave us links for lots of things to do in the area, which was a big help and made our stay that much more special. Our only regret was we were so busy with activities that we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, maybe next time.

Our hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced 1-2x per week as we take pride in ensuring properly functioning for each of our guests...hopefully next time you can take more advantage of it!

Disappointed

When you pay this kind of money to stay at the property like this, you expected to be well stocked with proper dishes, pot pans, can opener, etc.Jacuzzi was not heating properly. Water was disgusting. No one wanted to be in it. Jacuzzi got fixed the last night. We were there.

Had a good time.

Only had access to one garage. Codes did not work to open second garage. Visitors should know that some vehicles are going to fit in small space. Pretty much that is all that was wrong. Oh yeah outside shower could cut someone. Very rusted. But there was a hose to use.

Great place

Super clean and very inviting. The location is amazing. IF i had a complaint it would be the cleaners came at 9:45 instead of 10 am checkout so we were a little rushed to get out of there.

Great place for a family vacation

We went with our extended family and had both the front and back unit . It worked out great and we would definitely come back. Great location on the beach away from the big crowds but close walking distance to everything.

Beautiful ocean front retreat!

Every October our whole family (12) heads to the beach in San Diego to enjoy some quality time together. This year was an extra treat. The place is beautiful with great views. It is kept very clean and the beds are comfy.Once you park your car (Don't bring a big truck it won't fit in the garage)you probably won't use it till you leave. There are great restaurants in walking distance. The rooms have great views and balconies are an extra delight.

Likes and dislikes

We rented the front and back condo. There were 17 of us. We loved the location because it wasn't as crowded as the rest of the beach. The hot tub was a huge hit and the view was spectacular. The accommodations were good except that the fireplace didn't work nor did the ice maker. The floors were filthy so we didn't walk bare footed. It would be nice to have a complete inventory list but overall it was very enjoyable.
