The cottage is across the street from the beach .Aapproximately 100 yards or 3 minute walk to the gulf Everything you need is provided in the living area along with outdoor table and chairs that you can dine outside and enjoy the tropical breeze. Post hurricane, the landscape was damaged and the town is working hard to rebuild There are at least 10 restaurants open along with multiple food trucks


Grocery store recently reopened and CVS is open

I wanted to stay in a cottage similar to what used to be the prevalent lodging on Ft Myers Beach back when we visited our grandparents in the 60’s and 70’s. You can’t find these types of cottages on the beach anymore, as it has been taken over by highrise condos and ostentatious beach McMansions. If you go by the cottages across the street, this is 3 houses from Estero Blvd and beach access is right across the street. The shelling is good before 9 a.m. Publix is about a mile away and everything is convenient and close. Bob and Molly are pleasant and helpful hosts.

Great Place..

Great place a short walk to the beach and had all the necessities beach umbrella, wagon etc. Going back soon. Highly recommend and Bob was very helpful..

Mini vacation

Me and my husband stayed here for a small getaway, the house was beautiful and very clean. Super close the beach which we loved. The area was nice and quiet. We had a great time

Great Stay at FMB!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Tranquila Beach Cottage. The owners were great and the house was cozy and clean. The beach is literally across (5 min walk) the street. We would definitely rent again!

Our property is a duplex cottage and has been in the family since early 1900’s. There is nothing like island living!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our cottage is a 100 yard walk to the beach. Swimming, sunbathing, playing in the sand, and beautiful sunsets are at your fingertips. We are walking distance from restaurants, downtown, a large library, water park, and gym. There is also a island trolley stop around the corner to take you where you need to go. Jet skiing and parasailing are available down the street from the cottage. On site, we have two patios (covered and uncovered) with BBQ grill, and a hammock.
