Perfect couple's getaway! Tucked away on Vilano Beach, just north of St. Augustine, this quaint cottage is ideal for visitors looking for a more private, secluded stay.

This is a one-bedroom (queen size bed), one bathroom cottage with a nice kitchenette. Beautifully decorated with a living area (flat screen HD TV and WiFi internet service) and a separate dining spot to savor your morning coffee or enjoy an evening meal. A small patio out front where you can unwind after a day of exploring nearby sights or a relaxing day at the beach.

Miles of beaches to walk, run or just sit in place and enjoy. Grocery stores, restaurants and shops a 5-minute walk away. Or, take a 5-minute drive into the heart of St. Augustine, a charming Old World town filled with historic sites, unique restaurants, museums and art galleries.

Beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards included. Bicycles and kayaks available at an additional charge.

I will DEFINITELY be back. Great 1 bedroom cottage. Very private. Perfect location. Everything you need is on the island within a few miles. The courtyard is beautiful for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. You can be in downtown St Augustine within 10-15 minutes. Uber Eats delivers to the cottage!! The beach is a short walk down a well established path. There’s an outside shower to rinse off the salt and sand!! If you’re looking for the ultimate relaxing vacation, this is the place!

We were only in town for a few days, but the little cottage was perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice. Cottage is well equipped with plenty of comfortable furniture, good Wi-Fi, a well equipped kitchen that is a little small, but works perfectly, plenty of TVs and all the gear you need for the beach, which is just a few steps away. Great sunrises! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect stay, in every way!

"Just Steps from Vilano Beach" was an absolutely wonderful cottage for my husband's and my much needed vacation. The cottage is quaint, extremely clean, tastefully decorated and appointed with everything you would need for a delightful stay on Vilano Beach, and its location cannot be beaten (literally steps from the beach and a very short drive to Historic Downtown Saint Augustine). We cannot recommend "Just Steps from Vilano Beach" enough... and will return to stay there whenever we come to Saint Augustine. A

Chilling on the beach

The unit is very close to the beach so we spent a lot of time either walking in the beach or in our beach chairs with an umbrella. Lots of great nature walks nearby

Secluded cottage by the sea

It was exactly like we thought it would be from the description and prior reviews. Quaint, private and peaceful. Very short walk to the beach without having to cross the busy road. An unexpected bonus of fruit and bread welcomed us, and was much appreciated. We’d definitely stay again. I only wish I could give our airline and rental car company a good review.

Bombay Cottage

Very well decorated and comfortable cottage. All of our needs were met. Would recommend it for adults wanting privacy. The beach was very close but kind of hard to get to. Overall really enjoyed our stay, would come back again.

Wonderful beach retreat!

I expected something much smaller, but this cottage was very comfortable and spacious - but still cozy! Truly a short half-block walk to the beach, short and very scenic drive to all the St. Augustine attractions. I could easily move in tomorrow and live here forever!

Nice, relaxing stay

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this place. Everything was as described on line. Parking was definitely a little tight but, we quickly worked it out with our neighbors and never had problem. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing few days. The location was great. Everything we needed was provided. Never met the host because we didn’t need too. (I’m sure he would have been there had we needed anything).We received check in directions and were left alone, which is the way I prefer it. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a peaceful, laidback few days at the beach.

Cozy and Convenient

We visit STA at least once a year and will be returning to this charming cottage on future trips. The cottage is secluded behind the other cottages making it a hideaway. There is lots of room and a very nice patio. Steps from the beach and yet convenient to everything. It was our first time staying at a VROB and we picked a winner. Scott is a 5 star host

Perfect vacation

The pictures on VRBO do not do this place justice. It's really cute beach cottage, very close to the beach access. The bed was a bit hard, but not too bad. The kitchen was small but really nice. We had a really awesome time and we definitely will be thinking about another stay here next year

Our Stay

Very pleased. Appreciated the host putting out some bread and butter and fruit to get us started after a long ride from Tennessee. Would love to repeat next year; perhaps for a longer stay. We enjoyed the town as well and would like to explore it further. The beach was beautiful. Just what my wife needed to unwind.

Wonderful stay, steps from the beach

This is an amazing property. The cottage itself is hidden just off A1A. The place is truly a couple's retreat with one bedroom, a huge bath and a well-appointed living room and dining nook. The best part for us was the private patio just off the tennis courts. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee or a late-night glass of wine as we ended our day of sightseeing. The beach is a short walk to the end of the street (less than a 1/2 a block), and it's a great place to watch a sunrise/sunset or just hang out and do a whole lot of nothing. We will definitely be booking this one again!
