This gorgeous two story duplex home is steps to Audubon Park and the Zoo. Take a short 6 block walk to catch a ride on our world famous street car The street car is a convenient, scenic way to visit many New Orleans attractions including, walking tours of Garden district, cemeteries, Magazine street shopping, Bourbon Street, Audubon Park, Tulane/Loyola University, CBD, restaurants etc..
Unparalleled location!

Audubon Park Retreat is not recommended for families with toddlers or babies. We do not offer a crib and the house is not baby proofed. There is a pool in back that can be dangerous for children. There is no life guard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

If you're looking for classic New Orleans, this is the spot. The home and neighborhood has tons of NOLA charm! The bedrooms are large with comfy mattresses and bedding. The downstairs living area was plenty roomy for our family! Having a pool in July was the icing on the cake -- perfect for taking a plunge after a nice walk around Audubon Park!! Great uptown location!

Lovely place

We were in New Orleans to visit family and stayed at this lovely place. The uptown location was perfect for us and we got to enjoy the easy walk to Audubon park. The patio and pool were perfect for relaxing after busy days out and about.

Spring getaway

The home has great access to Audubon Park, Tulane and the street car. We enjoyed drinking a glass of wine by the pool in the evening. It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation and the owner, Marta is lovely.

Beautiful and spacious home

This is by far the best Vrbo experience we’ve ever had! Home was large and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The pool was so much fun and was perfect for a day of relaxation. Location was great for a Tulane event. Mike and Marta are so kind and gracious.

Great time!

House was very clean and in a great neighborhood. Off street parking & laundry facilities were a plus. There’s a LOT of road construction going on in the neighborhood, that was only downer.

Great location

We stayed here while in town for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour. The property was clean and welcoming. Great, safe neighborhood. Easy walk to the trolley. Good access to the zoo, park and French Quarter. Would highly recommend for a family trip!

Beautiful, spacious property. Excellent location. Super quiet. Loved the artwork and interior design. Easy commute to Magazine Street and its restaurants and boutiques. Wish we had time to swim in the pool. We’d love to come back!

Great Property

Wonderful home exactly as described. Everything was very high quality and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic pool in the backyard that was a great way to end our days. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay

We really enjoyed this beautiful home during our stay in New Orleans! The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed mornings on the front porch and evenings swimming in the pool. The area was lovely and we liked the proximity to the park and the streetcar too.

So glad we found this jewel of a house and property owners for our trip to New Orleans! Beautiful and safe neighborhood just a few minutes for everything we wanted to do. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood quiet and overall just a relaxing stay. Will stay again!

Audubon Retreat

We had a perfect stay. Our hosts went out of their way to make everything wonderful for us. We are so appreciative of all of their efforts. The house is very comfortable for a family of six. We felt right at home and loved the front porch. The neighborhood and proximity to the park are ideal for enjoying the outdoors. Thank you for everything you did to make our stay amazing!
