Located in the historic Marigny Triangle, Le Château de Pauger can easily host your group; it boasts 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and ample living space. The generous master suite has a king-sized bed and lavish en suite bathroom. Large second and third bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed, and additional sleeping arrangements are available for children. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV for your enjoyment. This property offers more than its luxurious interior accommodations; guests can retreat to a private backyard oasis to refresh and rejuvenate after a day in the French Quarter. Enjoy multiple outdoor seating arrangements, a grill provided for your use, and the outdoor sound system, all within the complete seclusion provided by your privacy fence. Couldn’t have been better.

The home was high tech and amazing. Located within walking distance of many French Quarter attractions, restaurants, clubs, museums. Our host, Alex, was very responsive to our questions. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great NOLA vacation home

Family fun in NOLA

My family stayed in this house during our recent visit to New Orleans, and we really enjoyed it. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we were able to walk to great restaurants, coffee spots, parks and shopping.

Friends trip to New Orleans

The property was amazing - looked even better in person, and Alex was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and very timely in responses. Awesome location (right next to Marigny and the French Quarter). Would stay again here in a heart beat.

The location was great for us. Wedding at the Royal Frenchman. It was within walking distance to just about everything. The house was plenty big and there was a total of 6 adults.

Great way to experience New Orleans

Really nice shotgun house in Marigny that was an easy walk to the French Quarter. Given we rented a car the off street parking was perfect. Check in and keyless access was the best I’ve experienced with a VRBO. Checking out some of the local dives was a really nice contrast to traditional French Quarter tourist places.

Jazz Fest 2024

This property is perfect! 3bedrooms and 21/2 baths. Fenced in backyard with deck and gas grill. This property is deceiving on Vrbo, it is much larger in person. The area is just outside the French Quarter, very easy walk, even closer is Frenchmen Street with its lively, but not as crazy as Bourbon street, nightlife. Thanks to Alex for working with me on my ever changing flight schedule! Definitely be back….. loved it!

Great location to French Quarter-Friendly Neighborhood

The house was the perfect size for our group. The location was centralized to everything we wanted to do. Iggy's neighborhood bar around the corner was a great place to unwind, the patrons there were so kind and helped us find place to go out of the touristy stuff. Loretta's café a couple blocks from Iggy's by far had the best beignets. Big E arranged our transportation (Recommended by Alex in our rental paperwork) he sent us Cecil for transport to and from the airport and he was the best! Saved Cecil and Big E's numbers for future stays. The backyard was not as picturesque as the listing shows, but the house and overall stay was amazing.

Perfect Spot Meets Southern Hospitality!

Just like the rest of the reviews, I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had working with Alex and staying at this property. Not only is everything as advertised, but the location is perfect walking distance to Bourbon but far enough away to be in a quiet area. We were able to easily get everywhere we needed to simply by walking. Everything was clean and spacious with clear directions on how to use all ammenities, and the New Orleans snacks and jazz playing upon arrival was such a nice, welcoming bonus. The security system was so easy to use as well, and gave an added level of comfort and security. Also, Alex was so understanding in extending our checkout time a couple of more hours to accomodate our flight schedule. This was most of my group’s first time in New Orleans, and we would absolutely stay here again. It was such a beautiful, convenient home with a great owners!! 10 out of 10!!!

Perfect Rental

We picked this property because of the reviews. We weren't disappointed! The rental is really nice, very clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The owner was really great too. We loved the refreshments that the owner left us; perfect after being on the road for hours! I didn't think we would use the patio but did. The outside space is perfect for a cocktail outside. We felt safe in and around the area. The alarm on the house is definitely a bonus. The kitchen was stocked with just the right condiments. We were a little worried that we were staying too far from the French Quarter; however, it was great walk. The electronics were a little difficult to operate but we appreciated them after we figured it out. I would definitely rent this property again!

Lovely property/close to everything - exceptional responsiveness by owner

This lovely, comfortable property was a perfect size for our group of five (two couples, one single person), with good common areas (especially kitchen) and beautiful bedrooms/baths. When we arrived, music was playing, there were snacks waiting for us, and the fridge was stocked with great, New Orleans-made beverages. The house is a nice walk to the French Quarter and close to Frenchman Street and to a great grocery store and other amenities. There is a funky, semi-abandoned lot next door, but even that has charm. A situation arose in our group that required a move to a different spot, and the host graciously and immediately offered us another of his available properties with no hesitation and at no additional charge. We highly recommend this property and this host. And if you are looking for a beautiful, big place in a quieter neighborhood a little further out but very close to a streetcar, we highly recommend another of the host's properties, La Belle Cajolee. I imagine it would be hard not to have a good time in New Orleans, but our accommodations and this host made the trip truly exceptional.

My daughter’s and myself stayed there for a long weekend. It was easy access to walk down to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter safety was a concern so we always got a ride a Lyft ride home at night beautiful home beautiful setting well organized.

Spacious and comfortable

Our family of six adults stayed in the property for eight nights during Jazz Fest.The house is comfortable and very spacious.The location is walkable to Frenchman Street, Bourbon Street, and Cafe du Monde for beignets. Robert's Fresh Market is close by, and we were able to get everything we needed there in the way of groceries and wine. Having a washer and dryer on site as well as a security system was a bonus. We had two cars and we appreciated that there was a small driveway for one of the cars and ample street parking for the other. Our host, Alex, was very responsive when we had questions. We enjoyed our stay!

French Quarter Fest!!

House is as described, rooms are large and comfortable, backyard space is quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and nicely laid out for cooking. Having off street parking was a well-appreciated bonus and accommodated a mid-sized suv nicely. The owner, Alex was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The house is a little further out of the Quarter than we usually stay, but even with my bad knees, it was very doable, with enough energy to make a second evening walk to Frenchman street or to Fritzel's to catch a late night set (or two) or dinner -- or both. Would definitely recommmend!

NOLA stay

Great property and accurately described. Alex is a fantastic host. We were able to check in early which was great after a red eye flight. Alex was always quick to reply to questions. The house is a very nice house with lots of room and well appointed. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

Everything was great! Alex reached out to make sure check-in to the house went smoothly. The house had everything we needed during out stay. Quick walk to the nearby grocery store. Walkable distance to the French Quarter as well. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

Fabulous find in New Orleans!

Wonderful weekend getaway! House is way more spacious than it appears in the photos. Spotless and tastefully designed. The backyard space was comfortable and very private. While close to a busy thoroughfare, the location couldn't be beat--Bourbon Street, Frenchmen, and trolley stop all within a quick walk. Host was very responsive, helpful, and a delight to work with. Don't hesitate to book your stay!

Located in the Faubourg Marigny, the Chateau is just a short walk away from the heart of the French Quarter!

Stereo and Television System -
One of us will most likely meet you and your group at the property to greet and shake hands. If not, we will arrive shortly after you all have settled in so that we may give you a quick tutorial of how to use the sound system / television / internet radio, etc. The two zone sound system sound system is controlled by an Onkyo receiver which can be remotely controlled from your smartphone by downloading the Onkyo Remote app. (Compatible with Iphone, Android, and Windows smart-phones.) The digital system in place has so many features that even we have yet to learn all of them. Rest assured of the following - it is absolutely incredible!

Groceries and Stocked Items -
We have a variety of amenities that will await you and your party. There are several coffee makers (varied in design and function), k-cups upon your arrival and a full service kitchen.

Utility Room & use of Washer and Dryer -
The home has a utility room that includes a washer and dryer as well as other miscellaneous cleaning supplies. Please feel free to wash and dry your clothing during your stay. Laundry detergent, softener, iron/ironing board, and more - all available to you.
