Great beach house layout with 4 bedrooms, 3,5 baths living room with gas fireplace, main floor master with fireplace, large well supplied kitchen with eating bar and dining area with table that seats 10 opening out to a wrap around deck overlooking golf course and beach views.
There is a large main floor laundry /doggie clean off room with direct entry. The house is
located in a gated community at the Highlands which offers tennis courts, basketball court, and 9 hole fun golf course. There is a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk that takes you to miles of uncrowded beach.. Beds are 1 king in master wit attached bath, I queen in main floor master with attached bath, fireplace and tv, 1 queen and , 1 full murphy, in third bedroom and I queen and twin trundle in fourth bedroom with shared bath.
The house has a feeling of space with vistas to the ocean . Gearhart is a charming uncrowded beach town..
Two night minimum. One dog possible on prior approval. When booking please indicate if a dog will be coming, it's breed, age, etc. A $65 pet fee will be charged per visit. Cleaning fee is one time $195.00.
We are booking 12

Amazing beach home in Gearhart

We had a fabulous time with lots of family fun in this lovely home. The views were spectacular, the home was nicely appointed, and the location was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. The owners were communicative as well.

Ocean Beach Stay

This house was amazing! The views from the house and the decks were wonderful. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the sunshine - lots of great bird sightings too. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out. The location was central to all of our sight seeing activities and we were happy to return each day to the quiet of the neighborhood. The amenities within the house - comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, etc. - just made the stay that much better.

Perfect house for family gathering

We loved this beach house. We spent Thanksgiving with our adult children and grandchildren. Kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms offered comfy cozy beds and the view is amazing! We will be back!

Gearhart at it's finest!

This property was wonderful for our family group of eight. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone comfortably. The kitchen is well supplied with all needs and we especially enjoyed viewing the full moon with the telescope and seeing the elk herd. It's a short walk to the boardwalk and then on to the beach. My husband and son-in-law enjoyed the golf course. Additionally, the artwork in the house was appreciated. This property is highly recommended and we all hope to stay again!

Outstanding house

We've been coming to Seaside every year for the past 10 years, and this is our favorite place that we've stayed. Beautiful ocean views, quite neighborhood, easy access to the water, really clean and well updated house with lots of room, nice kitchen, and plenty of bathrooms for us and our nearly all grown children. The owners were a delight to deal with, as was their manager. I don't want to leave such a glowing review as this is now likely where we'll be trying to stay every year going forward and I hate to compete with you all :)

Amazing House steps from the Ocean

We rented this house for family visiting from out of state to come explore the Oregon coast. It was perfect! It’s right on the ocean and very close driving distance to Seaside, Canon Beach and everything you would want to see!! The house had everything we needed and more! It was very well stocked, clean and perfect for our family! We did have a 1 year old with us, it definitely isn’t baby proof but we made do and had no issues!!

Perfect Family Getaway

The home is perfect for a family get together or a group of friends. It is well appointed with comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. We have stayed at three other properties in Gerhart and this was the best equipped kitchen. Multiple sets of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils pots & pans, blender, coffee pot, paper goods, etc. you just need to bring your food and you’re set.! There is a view of the ocean from every room and great furniture to relax in on the deck. The host and manager are very responsive. The manager brought over extra outdoor games for our kiddos. The broadwalk to the beach is close by and provides easy access to the beach. Don’t hesitate to stay here We’ll certainly be back!

Perfect Holiday home!

This perfect beach house was a last minute find for our family Thanksgiving getaway and it exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. As you walk into the home it was very spacious, clean, nicely decorated beach theme, and stocked well with all the amenities needed for our Thanksgiving dinner as well as plenty of bed linens to keep everyone comfortable. The beach access was just a short 5 min walk, and loved that the outside hose was easy to access to wash off our dog after her long beach run. This home had it all, and we were just super impressed with our stay, the attentive owner/managers, and cant wait to come back again.

Beautiful Ocean Views & Wonderful Home

What a lovely experience on the Oregon Coast! The house was perfectly situated, with stunning ocean views and an easy walk down to the beach. The neighborhood is lovely and the house is very well appointed with everything you need. We had 8 of us at the home with plenty of space. The hosts were excellent communicators and we felt well taken care of from the moment we reserved the house. This was a much needed getaway for our family and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with our experience. We will be back!!

Anfitrión: Kandi and Pat Walters

We are new co-owners of the Gearhart beach house with neighbors from Hayden Lake Idaho. Pat is originally from Kalamazoo Michigan and Kandi was from Portland Oregon We raised our kids in Portland and headed to the lakes in Idaho.. Our co-owners, Wayne and Deanna, are kite flyers and past owners of a condo at Cannon beach..We are all retired and enjoying winters in Palm Springs and Arizona. Pat owned an environmental company and Kandi worked in Social Services. We all are crazy about Gearhart and the beach house and look forward to sharing it with you.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We bought the beach house first because of the beautiful view and secondly because Gearhart has kept its small town charm and nothing beats the miles of beach where dogs run free and you walk till you drop.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The house has a great floor plan and flows well. Almost every room has a view and it sits up high so it has a great outlook. The gated community has the benefit of a fun 9 hole golf course and sports courts, tennis and pickle ball and basketball for the kids . We can walk to town about a mile to the special bakery and good restaurants. Also Gearhart 18 whole golf course is very close as well.
