Wonderful place for a family
We enjoyed this property so much for our family reunion weekend. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids. House was clean, well equipped, and communication was great. Gearhart is a lovely little town. Would definitely stay again!

Just what we needed! The location was perfect, and Christine and Gary were so friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. This beautiful and cozy beach cabin turned out to be an ideal spot for our group to relax and enjoy!

Nice house and location, but the cleanliness of the house left much to be desired. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to get to. Bit of a walk to the beach if that is what you are looking for.

GEARHART BEACH WEEKEND
THE HOUSE IS SUPER CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND WELL APPOINTED. IT IS ALSO IN A GREAT LOCATION CLOSE TO BEACH AND WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE GROCERY STORE AND PACIFIC WAY BAKERY AND RESTAURANT.

2024 Thanksgiving Stay in Gearhart
We had a delightful stay in Gearhart over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was quaint, lovely and accommodating with full amenities and the location had nearby easy beach access and was within walking distance to shopping and eateries. We will definitely return.

Great House
What a great house to spend the weekend with friends! Everything was well stocked, plenty of space on the main floor and a cute deck and yard. Can’t wait to come back.

Great weekend with Friends
Spacious home very short walk to beautiful Gearhart Beach. Absolutely the best equipped VRBO rental we have ever experienced. Excellent!!!

Gearhart House
We returned to the Gearhart house after a previous stay because we enjoyed the accommodation so much. It has everything we needed for comfort, enjoyment and ease of communication! We are very grateful for this experience!

Fabulous Little Gem!
Owners were great! The house was fantastic, very roomy, nice and extremely well maintained. Living room downstairs was spacious and they had lovely deck and yard. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful house in a beautiful area
Our experience during our stay was exceptional, the house is beautiful, has a lot of historical features, and is in the perfect location. It’s within walking distance to coffee shops, stores and the beach. The owner is very kind and responsive. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Amazing weekend
The Gearhart Beach house was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful neighborhood, a nice walk to the sand, a well-stocked house, and elk! The owners were very responsive when we had a question and the house was very comfortable just to lounge around in front of the fire. Cute town with an amazing bakery. Good house for a girls weekend.

Lovely, cozy beach get away
This home is cozy and charming, with plenty of room for all your guests to sleep comfortably, relax by the wood burning fireplace or play games/share a meal at the large dining table. Large kitchen with everything you would need for cooking meals. The host was just amazing and very responsive. The location can't be beat as it's within easy walking distance to the beach as well as the quaint village with shops and small grocery. Would definitely stay here again.

Another wonderful summer vacation at Gearhart
This house feels like home now, after 4 years visiting. Very close to the beach, and good for beach walks, as well as neighborhood walks. Very comfy gathering spaces, functional kitchen. Thanks for the new bunk beds! Nice backyard porch for outdoor meals, and good BBQ.

Always a Pleasure
We've stayed at this residence before and, it was because of those stays we chose this property to host our family; we knew they would enjoy it as much as we have. They were very happy with the neighborhood, the proximity to the ocean, the nearby amenities (Pacific Way Bakery - a must) and most importantly, the comfort of the house and the way it's stocked to entertain. You can't go wrong staying here, comfort all of the way!

Beautiful Home
This home is spacious and beautiful. Many windows and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect as it is right on the path to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had grandparents, parents, big & little kids and everyone had a great time. The house is well stocked with everything we could possibly need.
The shower is large and allows for a parent to easily clean the little kids! A perfect vacation spot!

Great location! House was clean with the basics provided. Nice extras like bluetooth speaker. Karaoke, firewood, beach chairs and towels and a cooler. Took off 1 star because twin mattresses were very noisy with any mov÷ment.ngreat. Made A LOT of nois

The house was very comfortable and very close to the beach and coffee shop. The mattresses were noisy, harder than we are used to, and the shower in the master bath is not usable because if water gets on the floor it runs out the kitchen ceiling leaving one shower for five adults. Putting the shower curtain inside the tub was not adequate to prevent the water problem. The yard was beautiful and the house was very charming. The owners were very responsive when we called and obviously love their property.

Thank you for your feedback and for noting our home’s charm, location, and responsiveness. We are glad you enjoyed the yard and proximity to the beach. Regarding the shower in the master bath, our home is historic (built in 1910) with an original clawfoot tub. As our house instructions note and highlights, the liner must remain inside the tub during use to prevent water from escaping. In this instance, a measureable amount of water did reach the floor, which is what caused the temporary issue mentioned. We immediately offered to send a plumber to fix any issues, but the guests kindly declined and used the large walk-in shower also located on the same floor. The clawfoot tub remains in excellent working order, and many guests enjoy it without difficulty. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify so that future guests can feel confident in enjoying all the amenities our home offers.
