Luxury Townhome - 4 Miles from Downtown - AC in Bedrooms

Our 1,700 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Crimson Cliff townhome (Unit 55) is situated near the Animas River just 4 miles north of downtown Durango and 25 miles from Durango Mountain Resort (25 minutes). This home offers an ideal location with incomparable views of the Animas River Valley, and immediate access to the resort area without having to drive through town to get to trails, national forest land and the ski area.

The Durango Trolley stops right in front of the home every 20 minutes making it convenient to get downtown without having to drive or park.

The main living space features a gas fireplace as well as a 50" 4K flat screen TV and Blue Ray DVD Player. Each bedroom features a deck as well as AC (May - Oct).

The Crimson Cliff complex includes a private park with sand volleyball court, playground equipment, nine-hole mini-golf, small pond, fire pit and a gravel walking track around the large lawn.

Master Bedroom - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (3rd Floor)
2nd Bedroom - Queen (3rd Floor)
3rd - Bunk Beds (Single over Double) (3rd Floor)

Please note all bedrooms require stairs and the townhome is not pet friendly, so please do not bring your pets or emotional support animals.

Excellent rental

As described, clean, comfortable, nice condition. Only issue was that we were given the wrong name of the WiFi and had to figure that out.

Durango getaway

My husband and I, our 2 year old, and my parents came to Durango for a long weekend and this place was exactly what we needed! Enough space for all of us to relax and spend time together. Perfect location away from the business of downtown but close enough to get to quickly and easily. Communication was easy and very responsive! Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing stay in Durango

This wonderful property was very clean and spacious. It’s in a great location north of town with easy access to the main highway. The home is very quiet and well maintained. The couch in the family room could be replaced, but all other furnishings, linens, and appliances were top notch. We will return.

Of course we had minor adjustments with some little things to make it perfect for us but that’s to be expected. We found the steps to get in and out to be good exercise and the kitchen was amazing to have several quiet meals in The communication with the owners is also easy and amazing.

Durango Family Vacation

Communication with the owner was great. Answered questions, checked on us and was very friendly. The property is beautiful. The Kitchen has everything you need. The master bedroom and bathroom very spacious. Beds were so clean and comfortable. Large soaking tub plus large walk in shower. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening. This was our family vacation and we felt right at home. Will definitely book here again!

Family Ski Vacation

This was a fantastic place to stay in Durango. Very convenient to downtown Durango but on the north side of town, making it easier to get to Purgatory Ski Resort. The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and tidy upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with what it needed for cooking your own meals. Especially with Covid-19 restrictions on all restaurants in town, having the necessary tools to prepare your own meals is very important. The natural gas plumbed grill was a nice surprise and was used often. Overall a great place to stay and relax in Durango. Recommend it to anybody toting their kiddos on vacation in Southern Colorado!

Nice place

We booked this property at the last minute on our way into town. Property management was very responsive when we had questions. Condo was spacious and clean. The fans were helpful as we missed that there was no AC. Only issue with opening windows was the neighbor smoking on his balcony, and we didn't want the smoke smell getting into the condo. None of this was the fault of the property owner. If it wasn't the hottest part of August we would stay here again.

The home was clean, well stocked, and had an excellent location to downtown and Purg resort. Bathrooms amenities were great and unit was stocked with some paper products and soap so we didn't have to run to the store right away. Fans in the bedrooms were great to have with the August heat (no A/C). For those looking to rent this unit in the summer just keep in mind with the windows open you do hear the highway/road noise. Overall would definitely stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: we were in town for my nephew's graduation and 3 people stayed comfortably in this townhome. it was quite spacious, with a kitchen which was comfortable cooking in. i slept in the primary bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed. however, my father and brother stayed in the other 2 rooms and did not have as nice a stay as i did. they said that the mattresses were pretty bad (the bunk bed room and the queen size bedroom).the complex is very quiet at night, which was lovely. if you are a light sleeper, the (infrequent) cars from the highway above might be bothersome, but the noise didn't affect us.

Reasonable property

It was overall good. Nice place and quite comfortable. We got there late at night after a long drive and couldn’t find the place in the dark as the unit number was blocked by the trees. Also, was surprised to have to launder the towels and run the dishwasher when we left. I expect to do that if I’m staying as a guest at a friend’s But not when I’m paying to stay there. Supplies such as tissues were in short supplied compared to other properties where I’ve stayed Keith was great in terms of answering our questions .

The descriptions and pictures in the listing are accurate, and the place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We had only one issue (with the WiFi) and the property manager and owner both responded rapidly to get the issue resolved. The condo is in a great and easily accessible location, and we especially enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen and family room area on the main floor. Having access to park a car in the garage was a welcome bonus, even though winter hasn't yet fully arrived in Durango. We would very highly recommend this condo to any small group or family visiting the Durango area.

Great property - busy location

The property was well kept and the neighborhood safe. Property managers were always accessible and responded quickly. Only downside for us was the warmer than usual temps and no AC. Had to leave the windows open all the time which meant lots of road noise from the highway. Also had a problem with a neighbor leaving his outdoor lights on all night which would shine in the master bedroom. Had to leave the blinds up so the room would breath and not bang due to wind. None of the above was any fault of the owners. Just reality of nature and proximity of units next to one another. Might stay again in cold weather.

Weekend trip

The location and layout is great. Lots of stairs. It does not have AC which is common in this area but can be uncomfortable late afternoon or evening if it doesn’t rain so watch the weather.

Very nice!

Love this condo. It was clean and communication was great! It is close to the highway and you will be sleeping with windows open in the summer due to no A/C, but with windows closed, you can’t hear the highway. I would recommend this place.

Perfect locstion

This was a clean place with perfect location. The trolly was great and we didn’t have to drive they town. I recommend downloading the app. Management was easy to get ahold of. They said there was a. Rock pot there is not. We loved it
