the host was awesome. 1 evening they arrived with homemade desserts which were delicious. the cabin was perfect, well stocked clean warm and inviting. very secluded area. so quiet, there was a lunar eclipse 1 night so great to watch from the darkness of the front porch. great access to the many miles of trails in the area. we did a lot of 4 wheeling. the bed was so comfortable we both slept great.thank you so much allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin.we will return again.

Wonderful place to stay and relax

We loved our stay, it was so nice and quiet and the scenery was beautiful. The host and hostess were so nice. Would recommend it to anyone that loves to be out in mother nature.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was lovely, and the hosts could not have been more accommodating. The area is beautiful. If you want to get away and have all the comforts of home in a cabin in the hills. This is your place!

Black Hills Stay

Really enjoyed our stay at this property which is located in a quiet and secluded area. We saw and heard lots of wildlife and the stargazing was phenomenal. Would definitely stay sagain.

Perfect for families

This place is awesome! We stayed for 6 days and couldnt have asked for a better place. The owners are so nice and welcoming. We will be staying here in the future!

Perfect location

This place has it all.. Cozy getaway, Back yard UTV trails, hiking trails, and wild life. Close by to town and tourist attractions, but far enough away to get away from people and the hustle and bustle. Absolutely a gem in the Hills.

Staying at Misty Havin cabin was truly a wonderful experience for us. We enjoyed everything about it. The cabin was perfect for us and well equipped for cooking, watching TV, and relaxing. It was very clean and comfortable and decorated so nicely. We loved the location of the cabin because it was very picturesque, peaceful, and quiet. We enjoyed every minute of our time there and do hope to come back again soon.There is a reason Derito and Margaret are super hosts. They dropped by to welcome us and to introduce themselves to us shortly after we arrived. We really appreciated their friendly hospitality. To our surprise and great delight, a day or two later they stopped by with two delicious lemon cheesecake slices for us! Can't get any better than that!Our stay at Misty Havin cabin will always hold a special place in our memories.

Great place to stay

From great hosts to the cabin itself it was a wonderful stay. From wildlife to beautiful scenery this place had it all. Everything we needed with right there. And driving distance to many of the historic sites. Perfect place! And accessible for wheelchair users😁

Black Hills Special!

This place is so cute, clean, and in the center of nature - it's absolutely wonderful. The drives to and from the towns were beyond breathtaking too. What a wonderful place to soak in the environment and to unplug from the reality of life. Would highly recommend this place! The owners are wonderful too.

Peaceful stay

Cabin and property are beautiful, we Loved our stay there, wish we had booked it for a couple days longer as we ended up staying in Sturgis for 2 nights at a motel that wasn't nice at all. We're hoping to book it for next year again but for 11 or 12 days. So cozy, loved the view, the animals, the seclusion it was all wonderful.

Peaceful and Relaxing

One of the best locations to enjoy the beautiful and tranquil views with all the 5 star amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer. The owners are welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommended… you will be happy!

heaven on earth

the house was immaculate,the surrounding property was well taken care of. The scenery was breathtaking. Overall the best trip we have ever taken. The host's were the best we have ever experienced.

Fantastic property. Perfect Stay.

The property was even better than expected. Beautiful surroundings, privacy and close to everything. No more than an hour to hour and half away from all attractions and points of interest. Great owners. Easy communication.

Best place ever

The property is what you'd see in a magazine, very peaceful and beautiful. The owner's are top notch people and make you feel very welcomed. Our kids didn't want to leave at all! We'll be back.

Wonderful place.

What a view ! Wildlife came to visit almost every day. Met the owners and they were great. Great place off the road , quiet with so much to do around the area. SxS rental is highly encouraged. We were in SD for 3 weeks and never bored.
