Our second stay at this storybook idyll. A perfect lake house vacation, and Shasta was immediately responsive to any little thing.

Shasta is an excellent host, with great communication. She and her property manager, Bill, were attentive and easy to reach out to with questions. The cabin is cozy, well stocked, and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great stay, Shasta!

Property was very clean and the location was wonderful being right on Tunk Lake. The water was perfect for swimming. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and our dog. Plus we are only 1 hour from Acadia National Park.

We had a wonderful time at this truly stunning property. The cabin was the perfect size for us. The views were sublime on this very quiet lake. We had a blast kayaking, swimming and fishing. The area is very private and easy to get to. Last year we stayed down the road a bit at Donnell’s Pond, but we fell in love with Tunk Lake. Lots of great food in the area, and the shuttle bus for Acadia and Bar Harbor isn’t too far away. We highly recommend staying here. We certainly plan on coming back!

Our host Shasta was amazing! She’s always available for us and very kind. We loved our stay at the Lincoln Cabin, it’s what we expected, so beautiful and a perfect place to celebrate our birthdays, and visit Acadia and Bar Harbor. We love tunk lake it’s so peaceful. Our dogs love the place so much. We will definitely come back!!!

We had to make a last minute change of plans and this cabin was everything we didn’t know we needed. It is secluded but an easy drive from the Bangor airport or into Bar Harbor. We were instantly in love with the views of the peaceful lake and our kids had such an adventure fishing and kayaking. The cabin was clean and nicely appointed. It was spacious with two rooms downstairs and a loft with 4 bunks up stairs. Perfect for our 3 to have some space of their own. I wish we could stay longer.

We love coming to the cabin- it’s so peaceful and serene. Shasta is super responsive and the property is just the best.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Tunk lake is beautiful and very secluded. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a family of 4. Highly recommend hiking Black mountain for amazing views of the lake and Acadia.

What a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for us. It was so quiet and secluded with plenty of outdoor activities to keep our family busy. It was also close enough to activities like hiking and shopping if that was what you wanted to do instead. Kitchen was well supplied and we had plenty of space for our family of 8.

Beautiful private getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Everything was super clean, and we had everything we needed for an easy, comfortable, and fun stay. The location on Tunk Lake is gorgeous and very private, while also being close to Acadia, Schoodic Point, etc. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful trip!

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful property. The location was perfect to enjoy sunrises by the lake and end the day with a cosy fire. Shasta was super responsive and ensured we had an easy check in and comfortable stay.

Great Lake vacation

Lovely cabin, well maintained. Close enough for day trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia but secluded enough for quiet lake days/nights. Owner gives you all the info you need for an enjoyable stay.

Excellent!

This cabin hit everything that we wanted! Quiet, secluded, private, and waterfront. It was definitely clean and well kept. Being able to enjoy family time outside and listen to nature under the stars was perfect! If we ever come back to Maine, which I’m sure we will, this will be the cabin that we choose to stay at!

Peaceful private and relaxing
