Great Host / Great Location

We have been staying in Leland for many years and this location is ideal. Great location, perfect house and fabulous host. I hesitate to rate too highly because I don’t want competition when I book next year!

Gem of a house!

We loved our stay here! The house was beautiful. Lilacs and lily of the valley were blooming during our visit at the end of May which made the yard smell so lovely! The side porch was our favorite place to hang out.

Lovely home

This is our second stay and we love this house! Just a short walk to downtown Leland and beaches. So peaceful and plenty of room to spread out. We love the screened porch. Penny is always responsive and helpful and we would highly recommend.

Annual Girls Weekend

We have our girls weekend every year and try to pick new places every year. This was the best property we have ever stayed at! Everything is so clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The layout of the house itself was perfect for us. The location made it so easy to walk into town numerous times for dinner, shopping, grocery run and even a winery! 10/10 would recommend a stay here!

Quiet Getaway

This was a beautiful home located right in Fishtown with all the amenities needed. The home felt clean and cared for. I appreciated that the owner supplied toilet paper, soap, tissues, coffee maker and filters (and even a small bag of coffee) bath and beach towels and beach chairs! Van's beach was beautiful. Chartered a fishing boat a day and caught some big trout! Went to sleeping bear dunes and the beach at the end of Platte River. We even found some Petoskey stones! Sutton's Bay and Glen Arbor are also great little towns nearby. Enjoyed being able to walk to downtown Leland too. Upstairs had an AC unit with 2 separate bedrooms and a bed in the common area with a bathroom. Main floor had a nice master suite. Porch swing, puzzles, and games were a plus! Would definitely stay here again!

A hidden gem!

What an absolutely beautiful property! I only wish we had a longer stay to enjoy the house. The screened in porch, with a porch swing, was our favorite spot to be! Walking distance to shops and restaurants; A+ for cleanliness; and absolutely charming sleeping arrangements. Loved everything about this hidden gem!

Great place

Was a great house. Nicely kept. Gets a little warm upstairs without central air. Would be nice to have some box fans available. Great screened deck. Quick walk to Fishtown.

Great Experience!

Stayed here in September and couldn't have had a nicer time. The house was clean, cozy and well appointed with a great proximity to town and the lake. Would love to return!

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway

Everything was clean and in great condition. Penny was super easy to communicate with. The check-in process was simple. We were pleasantly surprised at the space - it was better than we anticipated - we especially loved the porch area.

Great getaway
