Great host, comfortable casita with anything I needed. The location to access the plaza was great. The bed was comfortable, the area was quiet. I hope to go again!

Cozy Nest in a special place

This was the ideal place to spend a few days. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Close enough to trails that you can get a nice stroll in before starting your day. Quick drive to the main plaza and everything else. The house is pretty spacious, cozy, and has everything you need. John even brought over fresh pastries one morning! Even the shower was terrific. Truly enjoyed my stay!

Excellent place, close to plaza

Very clean casita within walking distance to the plaza. Jon was very helpful and had excellent suggestions for places to visit around town. We will definitely be back!

Perfect spot

Amazing location, clean and well equipped. John is the perfect host. We enjoyed the sauna and dark skies. Walked the neighborhood and appreciated the close proximity to downtown Santa Fe.

Perfect Christmas Gift

We stayed here over Christmas. Santa Fe was perfect for skiing, shopping, and enjoying the Christmas vibe at the Plaza. A great gift and beautiful memory.

Beautiful Casita and Location

The Casita was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities you could ask for. It was nestles in a quiet neighborhood in the hills close to both the center of Santa Fe as well as a short drive to Santa Fe National Forest.we found this to be in a perfect location. We will definitely book again!

Relaxing and charming casita!

Super comfortable and welcoming! Perfect for the two of us and our large dog. The walking trails just behind the house made it really easy to walk our dog. We loved using the sauna and enjoyed all John’s special touches like the wine, coffee, and fresh baked pastries! Would definitely stay again!

Nice Casita!

We loved our little casita in Santa Fe. I especially liked the little deck under the trees. Our host was very nice and the neighborhood is beautiful. We would most definitely stay there again.

Tranquil Getaway, Terrific Host!!

What a wonderful peaceful setting John’s.casita is! Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood full of walking opportunities, gorgeous views, dark skies with trillions of stars…anxiety literally drips off of you. Casita was spotless and had all the amenities one would need. Great private deck with bbq-was just a wee bit too chilly to try the bbq but could imagine a great meal out there when warmer! John was a super host and from the minute meeting him you know he is a good soul and kind man. Altitude hit me harder than normal so we spent more time at the casita than planned-being in this beautiful setting made up for that!

Perfect - as as depictred

The directions to the property were spot on. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Quick drive to the plaza and other sites.The accommodations were exactly as depicted. Comfortable, spacious enough for the two of us. Loved the extra touches, snacks, coffee, wine, croissants the first morning. Comfortable bed. Enough hot water for our showers. The parking spot is steps from the casita. John is a kind, responsive host. Would love to return here if we make it back to Santa Fe. Thank you for your hospitality.

Cute quaint cozy casita for nesting in woods

It was so lovely to be tucked away in the woods but still close to town. We were greeted with snacks and wine upon arrival and everyone was so kind an attentive. Relaxing and rejuvenating. Thank you!

Peaceful and private little accommodation

An ideal spot for our short stay in Santa Fe to visit the opera and explore some of our favorite walking spots. We enjoyed the private patio out back. John is a very responsive host.

Great overall experience

It's a very nice casita that is conveniently located. It was quite ideal for my little family that includes two well behaved dogs. I found the owner to be lovely and approachable though definitely without overdoing it like many do. Great stay, will be back for sure.

I would stay here again in a quick minute

This casita is lovely. I felt very much at home while visiting and my dog absolutley loved being able to lounge outside on the deck. The surroundings are just beautiful and Leslie, the woman who greeted me upon arrival, is hospitable and very kind. Thank you so much.

The perfect home base while exploring Santa Fe

John’s casita was perfect for our vacation to Santa Fe. We traveled with our two dogs and had plenty of room. The bathroom and kitchen areas were both spacious along with the living area. John provided snacks and pastries for us - such a thoughtful and kind touch! The neighborhood was beautiful and we felt very safe. It is close to the Plaza and easy to head out to the mountains.

Ideal property!

I really can't say enough nice things about this property! The location is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood about 10 minutes from the Plaza. The property was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A question was answered within minutes. A handy book of instructions and things to know was available as well as brochures for area attractions. There were snacks-a very nice touch-and wine as well. I highly recommend this property!
