Excellent place to stay. Responded quickly to any questions. Even meet us at the highway late at night to make sure we made it to the correct place. Highly recommend!

The location ideal. Private but accessible. Very well equipped cabin with such nice personal touches. The layout of Cabin 4 was perfect for two friends vacationing - a common area, and two very nice bedrooms with their own baths at opposite ends of the cabin. So well thought out! We would highly recommend!

Great place to stay!
The cabin was very nice. Beds were comfortable.
The water pressure wasn't great for washing dishes but we managed. Overall great place to stay.

We loved our family trip here. The location allowed us to visit many areas in the Black Hills and beyond. The host was kind and helpful. The setting was quiet and serene.

Perfect location!
This is a great location to Rushmore area. The place was very clean, and left sweet treats for us in the fridge!! Would highly recommend!

Todd and Cathy are THE most amazing hosts! Their property is GORGEOUS, the cabins are IMMACULATE, with everything you need and could want. Centrally located with ALL of the attractions nearby! Todd is a WEALTH of information as far as things to see, times to go, amazing pizza places and just all around, SO knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the area. Seriously.ZERO need to look anywhere else if you're coming to this part of South Dakota. Don't waste your time. Get here!

Perfect getaway!
The cabin was off the beaten path, but in a perfect location for easy access to many tourist attractions and day trips. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our family that includes an adult son. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Cabin
This is one of our favorite VRBO stays. The cabins are ideally located, well stocked, clean and comfortable. Chris and Cathy were great hosts and provided lots of information about local sites. I would highly recommend this property.

Great location
Perfect home base to see all of the main sights. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Beautiful setting with deer and wild turkeys around every morning and evening.

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods
Yak Ridge Cabins are in a central location, close to many activities and attractions in the Black Hills area. They are clean, cozy, and comfortable- the perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate during a vacation. My family highly recommends staying at Yak Ridge and we hope to be back!

Peaceful place
Enjoyed being out in the woods for the peace and quiet. Went for the Bike Rally and enjoyed being away from all that but close to lots of sightseeing.

Great location and amenities
The location was central to everything we wanted to do in the Black Hills. There were so many extras at the cabin, from the welcome basket, to the yellow rubber ducky for the kids for bath time. Everything in the cabin had a purpose. We had an excellent stay!

Best Vacay Ever!
This cabin was amazing! The location couldn’t have been any better! It was off a dirt road and in the countryside, but so close to all of the big attractions we wanted to see. The cabin itself was so perfect! It was cutely decorated and extremely clean. We hope to come back soon!

Top notch
We enjoyed our stay at Yak very much. The split floor plan was ideal for our group. The welcome snack basket was a real treat. Everything about the YAK was top notch.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the Black Hills! Julie is an excellent host with lots of personal touches to the cabin. She even had a beautiful gift basket waiting for us in the fridge!! Would highly recommend!!
