Newer Luxury Property that is unique, peaceful and near the heart of the amazing Black Hills! Our home has 3500 sq ft of beautiful indoor living space and a 1900 sq ft spectacular outdoor covered patio. The design of the home makes it ideal for family reunions, a large gathering of friends, business retreats, etc…
After enjoying the day exploring all of what the Hills has to offer or just hiking the 3 plus trails on the wooded 7 acres, you can relax on the patio where you can either grill, have ribs in the smoker or make hotdogs for the kids on the hotdog roaster. Enjoy a beverage at the very large bar or sitting and watching the 2 outdoor TV’s. Morning, evening or anytime of the day is a perfect time for soaking and enjoying the view in the Salt water Hot tub!
Head inside to what we like to call the Buffalo Lounge! It is a fun place to sit back and enjoy a drink or play a game of cards; make popcorn and watch TV or just relax by the wood burning fireplace.
Where do families like to spend time? Around the island in the large kitchen that has both a gas range and electric oven for those big family gatherings. The kitchen/ living room/dining room combination has a very large open floorplan with a vaulted ceiling. You can also enjoy TV or gather around the fireplace.
When it’s time to say goodnight, you can choose from 5 different bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a large walk-in shower and closet. 3 bedrooms with a queen bed and 1 large bedroom with a queen bed and a full over full bunkbed with a twin trundle. Sleeps up to 15 people plus if you are very adventurous there is a hide-a-bed out on the covered patio.
There are 3 bathrooms and a 4-stall garage with one of the stalls being used as a rec area for the kids to hangout! One more added bonus, there is a sauna.
The house is centrally located in the Hills. You are 8 miles to Custer State Park, 17 miles to Mount Rushmore, 25 miles to Rapid City and close to historical Keystone, Hill City, and Custer.

The rental was fun and very spacious. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around the acres and sitting on the covered patio. We made sure to enjoy the hot tub every day. This rental made South Dakota fun and worth the trip.

Great house for our family reunion group of 15 (8 adults children). The property is amazing, beautiful short drive to Custer state park and Mt. Rushmore. For logistics: two bedrooms share one bathroom and access to a living room. The primary bedroom has its own bathroom and two other bedrooms have no bathroom attached but are connected to the main living space/kitchen.Great cabin in the woods! The property is magical. The games on the patio are awesome for kids and adults.

This house was amazing! Six adults all had our own spaces and the shared spaces provided so much to do. Loved the patio living space. Great area to relax, play shuffle board and watch the deer and turkeys that visited daily. Bought homemade brats at pops grocery in Hermosa and barbecued, highly recommend.Furnishings and decor were stunning. The house was so well stocked. Had we known, we could’ve left 1/4 of our purchases in Rapid City there. We visited so many great places daily as the location was within easy driving distance of Custer State Park, Sturgis, Deadwood, Chief Crazy Horse, Needles Hwy, etc.Also played air hockey and ping pong in the garage. So fun. Great memories of a wonderful stay at an unbelievably lovely house. Thanks to the owners for sharing!

This property is amazing!! A beautiful house with fantastic scenery! The kitchen is wonderful and so fully equipped. It already has spices, condiments and leftover containers. Every room was spotless and decorated so appropriately for the location and vibe. The outside space is huge with lots of seating and fire features. The host responds very quickly if you need anything but there really is nothing you need as this house has everything! There are two fireplaces inside; I wish we’d been here when it was cool enough to use them.

This amazing home provided us with everything we needed for our stay in South Dakota! From the fully stocked kitchen, to the incredible outdoor area with hot tub, fire pits, and cooking spaces, to the extremely comfortable bedrooms, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place!

This property was simply lovely. We loved the outdoor patio area and walking the trails on the property. There were so many great amenities and we loved the entire ambiance of this wonderful home. We would definitely book a stay here again!

Great Family Getaway

Recently my family spent a week at this amazing house in the hills! The location was great and the house itself was amazing! Would definitely stay there again!!

This is a beautiful property. The outdoor area was our go-to hangout. Every morning we'd see turkeys and deer and a little red squirrel (who lives in the space above the outdoor area). It was so peaceful! And the sauna and hot tub were great additions out there. The house was as advertised. We had a group of 15 (9 adults, 6 children) and we made it work. The bedrooms (besides the master) are small, but the other spaces are quite large. The 3 refrigerators and 2 ovens came in really handy.Other thoughts: We had a couple of issues while there, but Jeff and Laura responded timely to our texts. Pops Grocery and Dollar General are the closest grocery options. If you need to haul away excess trash, there are dumpsters at the end of Sage Brush.

This property was wonderful. We enjoyed all the room to spread out and all the amenities that were available. The house was very clean and rustic modern with plenty of beds for a very large group. The outdoor area was amazing, also. My family enjoyed watching tv from the hot tub. If we are ever back in South Dakota, I would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

This property had everything we needed for our stay as a large family. There were plenty of rooms and activities on site, beautiful location amongst the pine trees, the house was well stocked with everything one may need, and the house was gorgeous, especially the large patio!

We had a great stay! We traveled as a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 tweens and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was not ready at check-in but everything was very clean. The kids loved the outdoor games and fire pit. It was a great spot after a long day of sightseeing

Wonderful stay! Property was lovely. It was very clean. There was plenty of room and the outdoor living space was great! Hosts were communicative and responded promptly. Everyone at our yearly family gathering agreed this was the best property yet. Would stay again.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time. The property seemed more like a home than a rental property. Excellent condition, well appointed, very clean and all of the amenities that are listed are great. Location is close to lots of destination spots. We would recommend and come back to this property.

Great Black Hills Location

Centrally located to take-in the wonderful areas of the Black Hills and then be able to come “home” to this amazing house and enjoy the indoors and outdoors with all the variety of spaces to enjoy - it had something for everyone!
