Amazing location, clean and comfortable place. Communication was easy, instructions were clear, hosts are super helpful, gave us great tips on where to go. We had a great time in Portland.

Property was spacious and charming and comfortable. Exactly as advertised. Instructions and checkin were easy and communication with the host was reliable. Definitely recommend.

Great stay. Very comfortable place in lovely neighborhood. Few minor things like dull knives and empty BBQ propane didn't set us back. Host was very responsive.

Our group stay of family and friends for a special birthday was wonderful in April. We really loved being around the artist vibes during our 4 nights in the Magic House! We had a wonderful, fun and delicious time in Portal-andia, as we call it nowThank you Todji and Hobie!

Loved the house, a fun surprise of art and color around every corner. It was magic! Top floor perfect for our adult kids. Great for a weekend stay, convenient location, would definitely return!

What a wonderful home! Very clean and all the beds were comfortable. The host provided plenty of towels and blankets. Any questions we had were answered quickly. We had everything we needed to get us started, then the grocery stores were close by to complete our stay.

Wonderful roomy house with a nice little backyard for our dogs to lounge in, and only a 5-10 minute walk to all the action on Hawthorne or Division.

Large comfy home in nice neighborhood

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation weekend and everything was very close by and very convenient- from shopping to eating out and meeting with our family. Plenty of space and hosts were very accommodating.

Very fun, funky home in a great location. We didn’t spend too much time in the house as our goal was to explore Portland, eat out, and go on excursions. Great location for this! Lots of places to walk to and easy to drive to other locations. The only suggestion is to get more comfortable mattresses.

A place of respite

We enjoyed our time at the Magic house, following a family members surgery and recovery. It was a great place with lots of interesting rooms to just, visit and enjoy one another's company.

The Magic House was a lot of fun, great location, and lots of space for our group. The room configurations were slightly different in the confirmation than what was in the original description, but we made it work. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen for making dinner, lots of room to converse in the dining room and living room. We loved the funky touches and the sculptures. Beds were comfortable. Loved having three bathrooms!

This unique and dynamic house was the perfect solution for 7 family members visiting Portland for Thanksgiving. Not only was the home comfortable and interesting, and in a perfect location between Division and Hawthorne areas, but with its original artwork designs populating the home and the yard, and so much of its original structure intact, my family felt like they had a true Portlandia experience. The host was very responsive too. We will be back! Thank you!
