Townhouse Tennis #18 has new owners and have made several updates throughout the home. You will feel right at home on the island with this bright & comfortable decor. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need. Beautiful Views, Quiet Townhome, perfect for relaxing, riding your bike or getting lost in a good book. This home has a King in the Master Bedroom, Queen in the guest bedroom, and 1 Double & 1 Twin in the 3rd Bedroom + queen sofa bed. Shipyard is gated, and this townhouse is just a short distance to the beach parking within Shipyard Plantation. By biking along the leisure trails that wind throughout Shipyard, guests have easy access to the Atlantic Ocean and the Sonesta oceanfront resort. Those choosing to relax closer to home enjoy the lagoon and golf course view from the first floor patio or the secluded on-site swimming pool. For avid tennis players, Townhouse Tennis III has private courts for the sole use of owners and their guests. The Shipyard Golf Course has a unique combination 9, 18, or 27 holes available for play.

Week stay over Christmas

Very comfortable house for our family of four convenient location, well equipped kitchen and home great location to restaurants, beaches, and activities. Received a credit we used to rent 4 bikes. That was a nice perk!

Great trip for the family

We loved this location! Close to the beach, easy to access, lots of space and reasonable prices! We had a number of issues during our trip but one thing we were able to count on was our accomodations!

Great trip to Hilton Head Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented a great property from Seashore Vacations. We have used them before and they are a great company which we highly recommend. The rental was in a great location, close to bars, restaurants and shops. There was a pool and tennis courts available to use and the area was peaceful. The property was clean, well fitted out, plenty of towels/linens, starter pack of essentials and clear instructions on how to work things. We had an issue with the Internet and contacted Seashore Vacations who responded immediately a d resolved the issue very quickly. Their team are very efficient and helpful and communication is very good. Check in was quick and seamless. Highly recommend them.

In need of many updates

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My mom and I chose Townhouse Tennis 18 for our annual mother/daughter trip to Hilton Head Island, and we were both shocked and disappointed with the unit. From the start, I found the cleaning subpar. There were food crumbs all over the dining table and on the sofa cushions and there was sand on the floor. All of the carpets and area rugs are very stained and in desperate need of replacement. The bedding was shabby in the twin/double room. Initially, upon entering the house on day one, it smelled of cleaning solution but by the end of the week it started smelling musty, and the fridge and freezer smelled musty the whole week. The toilet in bathroom attached to the queen bedroom was leaking onto the floor from the base of the toilet and the AC unit, that is housed over the kitchen, wasn’t draining properly so it overflowed and was leaking thru one of the can lights over the kitchen sink, so we had to have an HVAC serviceman and plumber come into the house over the course of two days. The shower stall in the downstairs main bathroom was not cleaned well as the area inside the shower by the door hinge was pretty gross, and the shower pan had cracks (I didn’t verify if they appeared re-sealed or not), but standing in it had obvious soft spots indicating issues underneath. The vent fan cover in the downstairs main bathroom was not on the vent and the visible unit was disgusting looking, covered with dust, rust and grime. They provide plenty of bath towels but they are very small and thin. The accent chair in the living room was very visibly dingy and stained. The good? The view from the patio (the primary reason we selected this unit) is truly lovely. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds were reasonably comfortable and extra pillows and bedding was provided. The unit is large and very convenient to Coligny and other shops and restaurants. We would not stay here again and would not recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice views, convenient to everything in HH, townhouse is a little dated, leather couches are not comfortable (cold to sit on). We found a blood stain on one of our pillowcases and we called management about it, they apologized and offered to bring us a new pillowcase but we had already put it in the wash. That was not a pleasant find. Beach was nice, pool is convenient. I would stay in Shipyard again, but closer to the beach.

Hilton Head Shipyard Review

It was spacious for 4 people, had great views, a walkable tennis court, and easy access to Pope Street. We look forward to staying here again next winter!

Great family option and location

The layout was great, especially with 2 older teens. The proximity to Coligny was awesome and Shipyard, in general, is just such a nice neighborhood to stay in. The condo has all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We loved it!

Great location

Absolutely loved the location of the townhome and the Shipyard community was a great oasis but still close to everything! Nice pool and LOVED the covered parking spot!

Great Week in Hilton Head

We loved how close the unit was to both the pool and tennis courts. We loved that it felt private on the back patio The only suggestion I would have is to have cleaning people bring some of the previous renters’ trash with them as they leave. When we arrived there was trash overflowing onto the front porch and we had to live with it until trash pick up on Tuesday. The washing machine also has trouble midway through the cycle and you have to run the spin cycle a few extra times before putting clothes in the dryer. Overall, we had a great week and would recommend and/or rent this unit again!

Overall very good

The house was very clean and the pictures were accurate. Very well equipped kitchen however the house sleeps 8 and there were not enough forks for 8 people. We had to use plastic all week. Living room and master bedroom were nicely updated, back porch area was quiet and super nice. I few minor updates would make a big impact on this property. The washing machine doesn’t properly drain so we had to manually run spin cycles after every wash. Light bulbs need to be replaced throughout. The location was great and overall it was very nice. A little TLC would just make it better.

Perfect for a family, spacious and great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been visiting HHI for over 30 yrs and now my family gets to enjoy this beautiful island. We have only stay in Shipyard and this was my first rime in this section (Tennis) the units layout was wonderful. Very spacious and bathrooms for everyone. Its a mix of updated and a little older but very functional. Two great patios, one over looking the golf course with beautiful calming views. Great for breakfast and coffee. The location is great. We love to go Coligny plaze often and it's an easy walk or bike ride and the beach is across the street from the only recommendations to the owner is make the other down stairs bedroom w/on suite a king bed. It could be used as a second master if you can't or don't like the stairs to the primary. My only negative is that the mattress are painfuly firm. Not my cup of tea. Invest in a better mattress.

Reviewer Comments: The location in Shipyard was quiet and restful, and bike paths made it easy to get around. While the location was convenient to Coligny Plaza, restaurants, and shops, we found the condition of the property in general to be lacking. It needs a complete deep cleaning, including replacing many light bulbs and electrical outlets (protuding from the wall), and plumbing and furniture repair. The condition of the cookware was deplorable when cooking was done in house.

Upstairs temperature control

The condo was great. The only suggestion I would make is: Add another heating and air conditioner unit for upstairs. There was a 15 degrees difference from up stairs and down stairs.
