This beautiful 2 bedroom condo is our family's home away from home a few months each year. The kitchen has all the amenities to provide for a home cooked meal. Two large bedrooms sleep 4 comfortably (California King beds in both Master and Guest bedroom). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and shower. All linens and beach towels are included. The living room, dining room and guest bedroom open directly to the lanai overlooking the 2019 renovated 5th tee of the Bay Course with awe inspiring views of the ocean, Molokai and Lanai islands beyond. The lanai is the perfect place to sit, relax, drink your morning coffee or your late day cocktail and watch the gorgeous sunsets - every day seems to bring a new "best one ever!"

Our condo is located in the prestigious Kapalua Golf Villas in beautiful NW Maui. Recreational opportunities at the Villas include: zip-lining, hiking trails, tennis/pickleball, four swimming pools, basketball courts, Tennis Garden and two spectacular 18 hole golf courses. Outside of the Villas, you are just a short distance (about a 10 minute walk) from 4 of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii: Kapalua Bay noted as “America’s Best Beach” by National Geographic with amazing snorkeling opportunities; Napili Bay with smooth white sands and great waves for body surfing and boogie boarding; D T. Fleming beach, a good place for a picnic, turtle/whale watching, or just relaxing; and Oneloa Bay, a very large white sand beach, but sparsely populated.

Maui offers many other spectacular outdoor activities elsewhere as well such as whale watching, helicopter tours, surfing, parasailing, kayaking, scuba diving, wind surfing, mountain biking and hiking. Your vacation can be both relaxing and fun filled at the same time…the possibilities are endless!

Great Stat

We meet up with my wife’s sister and brother in law every other year in Hawaii because we live in Dallas and they live in Australia. This condo was perfect for us with 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a great kitchen and living area. Quiet, clean and very well appointed and Teri is a fantastic host. Highly recommend staying heee.

Hall of Fame Owners and Property

Fantastic 10 experience! Communication before, during and after was excellent. Property was exactly as described with very nice finishings/furniture/appliances and included some really nice creature comforts you’d only expect at home. Location is quiet and close to some very nice beaches and snorkeling and as golfers we enjoyed direct view of a green and tee box (along with a decent partial view of ocean). Being right beside the pool and BBQ's was very convenient.As new VRBO members, owners Teri and Tom have spoiled us and set a high benchmark for future VRBO expectations. Mahalo!

Kapalua getaway

This property was everything we envisioned. The property was well stocked, clean, and in a quiet and peaceful area with a nice view (golf course and ocean in the horizon). The layout is perfect for 2 couples. With the two en suite bathrooms and bedroom areas separated off from the kitchen and living rooms, you are able to have some additional privacy if you want compared to other properties, The community grill area was just a few steps away and also super clean and easy to use. The owners were helpful and responsive. We had a small issue with the AC, but it was easily resolved with a couple quick text messages to help us understand the sensors. While you will probably not walk to any eating locations, there are several good options relatively close and the lack of traffic and activity was exactly what we were looking for in our Kapalua getaway.

Ten Days in Paradise

Amazing

The condo was just like the photos show. It was such a beautiful condo. The pool and grills are right next door. So it was great! We would prep our food and go to the grill and swim well we cooked. The sunsets were beautiful to watch from the lanai. Teri and tom were easy to get responses from before and during our stay. I would highly recommend their condo to anyone going to Maui.

Perfect family vacation

I couldn't have asked for better hosts. Teri and Tom provided everything you could ask for and more in preparation for our trip. Once we arrived they were responsive and helpful. The unit was absolutely perfect, better than I even expected. I only hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful location

Had a wonderful time! Didn't use the pool that often, but it is very handy with it being right next door. Most days were spent at Flemming Beach and having everything one would need at your disposal, is certainly a huge bonus!! Would definitely recommend staying at this property! Everything you could want

This property was exactly how it was described.. paradise! Beautifully kept home and grounds. The pool next to the villa and the beach down the hill was amazingly convenient for us. The trail that runs along the coastline was such a beautiful scenery. I really enjoyed running it early in the morning with the sun rising. I can’t wait to come back!

Luxurious paradise!

Wonderful stay in Maui!

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Teri and Tom's place! From the time we booked, which was three months prior to our stay until our departure there was great communication. I feel the pictures provided really don't do this gorgeous place justice. We arrived at night, so the views of the golf course and ocean we didn't enjoy until the next morning! Be sure to take some time to enjoy dinner on the patio at least once while you are here so you can witness the large frogs make their way across the golf course. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Kapalua Paradise

The complex is absolutely beautiful. The villa was spacious and comfortable. We utilized the kitchen several days which had everything to make cooking completely easy. A walk down the hill brought us to one of the most beautiful beaches with great snorkeling. We had a Maui wow one day and we’re able to jump over with a short drive to honolua bay .... so many fish !! The shower was amazing.

A beautiful Hawaii setting perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunsets every evening.

This was the best HomeAway property I have rented. The grounds were very well maintained. The condo was immaculate. We loved cooking in the kitchen. We enjoyed playing board games and cards. We used the beach toys almost daily. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, dishes and kitchen tools. The Lanai was a daily retreat both in the mornings and at sunsets. The local shuttle was very accommodating when parking was a challenge. We felt at home there and didn't want to leave. Teri was amazing with communication before, during and after our visit. Everything was perfect. Thank you Teri and family.

SERENITY IN KAPALUA

The evolution of Kapalua Resorts is historically rich and it is a very special place to stay. Teri's home in Kapalua exemplifies the low-key textbook Hawaii we strive to experience. Her condo offers a simpler elegance with personal space and solitude. We were serenaded to the sounds of toads, geckos and francolins, relaxed on the lanai where a fresh brewed cup of Kona coffee can be enjoyed while looking over the broad sweep of golf course with stately Cook pines and shaggy palms extending out to the royal blue channel separating Maui from Molokai. Teri is a special person who is also a conscientious and gracious owner. There are places we can escape to by reading a book, taking a flight or driving - then there are those special places we can journey to through our memories any time we wish and this is ours. Amazing! What an awesome stay …

Amazing! What an awesome stay at this beautiful condo in Kapalua! From the time we had arrived, we were taken back at the attention to detail and care of this “home away from home”. Teri and Addy even left a hand written card welcoming us to the condo, letting us know to call them for any needs at all, and encouraging us to enjoy our conference. The icing on the cake was the email from Teri, checking to see how our arrival went. During the week, Addy even called to be sure that we had everything we needed. She also offered suggestions on where to get good food and prime locations to visit and sightsee. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable to stay and sleep in at night. And the bathrooms, again, beautiful! My children especially liked the fact that there were toys and equipment that they could use at the pool, which, by the way, was right next door! We had an awesome time at Teri and Dee’s Kapalua condo! If you are looking for a place to stay in the Lahaina/Kapalua area, I highly recommend staying at this Kapalua home. You’ll be very happy you did!!

Outstanding Home Away From Home!

We travel quite a bit since the kids left home and Teri was the best hostess I've encountered. She communicated with me by text months in advance of our arrival with recommendations for local events, suggestions on least expensive time to visit and more. When we arrived, her home exceeded all our expectations. Kitchen was gorgeous and fully stocked with anything we could need. Bathrooms were beautiful. We immediately felt at home and at the same time, were grateful this family opened their gorgeous home to us. I will exceed the character limit raving about the furnishings. Even the placements... I have coveted those Hawaiian placemats ($$$) since I saw them at the Maui Flea Market a few years ago. (I pulled them out of the drawer, Teri, and kept them on the table the entire time we were there - but didn't allow us to eat on them!) Good example though of the value of all of the luxury items in the home. Both of the beds were more comfortable than ours at home, and pillows and bedding were high quality. Teri shared their overflowing lanai closet full of beach equipment which was a huge lifesaver. (We did come home and buy that umbrella & wagon, to add to our folding beach chairs like yours!) There were at least 6 chairs in there, inflatables of all kinds with a handpump, and boogie boards. Such a bonus. Another detail - Teri shared her cupboard of spices and other essentials like EVO, etc. We loved every minute of our stay and didnt want to come home. Thank you so much, Teri

Absolutely beautiful!

If you are looking for a great villa with great views and beautiful decor, this is the place! I read hundreds of reviews and Teri had nothing but 5 stars and for good reason! 2 adults and 3 teens have totally outgrown hotels, so we try to rent wherever we vacation for cost and comfort. This was probably the best villa we have stayed at. It was easy to find and easy to get into, was clean and fresh and had everything we needed to make our stay just perfect. Teri and Addy keep the house well stocked and leaving essentials from previous guests was so thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked with basic staples and we even used the grills outside by the pool which was steps away and always just the right temperature. The bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. Addy even set up the mattress for my son. We loved the bathrooms (of all things). They were so big and spacious and beautiful. The view from the lanai was spectacular. We didn't have to go anywhere for a perfect sunset right between the neighboring islands. Loved having the beach equipment available. The beaches were totally walkable and great for snorkelling and surfing, but the walking part was great too. We did rent a car for drives to Lahaina and daily adventures which is probably a must. Golf is a little pricey, but they have great afternoon specials. I filled out the guest book with some of our favorite places to go and things to do, but will just say, shopping in Lahaina at night is better, and stop by a little restaurant called Lahainaluna's. Yummy. Leoda's pie shop is worth a stop and we drove to the other side and went to the Iao Needle state park. Very cool. On the way out, we stopped by a little roadside fruit stand that had wonderful smoothies and warm banana bread baked right there. Teri, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful villa! The best VRBO condo in over 25 rentals

I rarely take the time to write reviews because a place really needs to knock my socks off to make me want to do so. Well, here I am and Teri and Tom’s condo deserves the highest recommendation possible. I have rented VRBO and Airbnb properties over 2 dozen times and this one is hands down is the best experience that I have ever had. First, the pictures don’t really do the place justice. It is much nicer than depicted. Second, most properties are either run by a property management agency or an owner who often doesn’t have a high level of care for the experience of their guests. That makes sense because these properties are usually just a means of side income for most owners and they have more important things to worry about. Not so with Teri and Tom. They replied to every email and text promptly and with the grace and kindness that you would only expect from a friend. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless and even had a kind handwritten thank you note, wine, and chocolates upon arrival. They go the extra mile with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, high quality bath towels, high end appliances, top quality cooking utensils, cooking supplies, and nice sharp kitchen knives. Lastly, they provide the little extras like liquid hand and body soap (I had yucky bar soap after a day), shampoo, conditioner, aloe gel, and even dispensers of Q-tips by the sinks. Kapalua is an awesome place to stay with only a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to some of the best beaches in Maui. If you are searching for a quality property to ensure an awesome vacation, this is it. I stayed there with my wife, 19 yr old daughter and 21 yr old son. The extra twin mattress came in handy so my adult kids didn’t have to share a bed. My deepest thanks to Teri and Tom for helping make my family’s vacation memorable.

My family was scheduled to rent this villa for 10 days in June 2016; however, due to unforeseen circumstances totally outside of my control and Teri's (the owner), we ended up having to stay in another villa in Kapalua. Therefore, this is a somewhat unusual review focused on a first class person (Teri) who took every effort under very difficult circumstances to ensure that my family's vacation was amazing. Back in September, my wife, 2 sons, daughter and I arranged to stay in Teri's family's beautiful villa in June. Teri and I were in communication by email and phone several times before the trip and she was incredibly helpful in answering the many questions we had. She could not have been more helpful or more giving of her time. When the day finally came for us to arrive in Maui, I opened an email from Teri when we were literally on the ground in Maui and still on the plane. Teri was heartsick and explained that she had been notified of an interior drainage leak in the unit above theirs that caused extensive damage to their beautiful master bathroom. Not wanting my family to have to deal with this, I learned that Teri had worked virtually the entire night to secure suitable alternative accommodations in Kapalua for my family because she did not want us to be burdened to have to deal with that. Needless to say, trying to secure something comparable from a third party on virtually no notice was a huge challenge, and Teri had to make that decision to rent another place (in her name) and make all the arrangements without being able to touch base with me as my family and I were literally en route to Maui at the time. Although Teri did not put any of this on me, we were still nervous about where we would be staying because we knew that Teri's villa was just what we were looking for and that is where we had been mentally prepared to stay since September. We ended up staying in a beautiful villa although I know that Teri's was also a beautiful unit. Teri went way above and beyond what most property owners would have done. Given the investment that people make when they decide to vacation in Hawaii, the peace of mind you get when you know you are dealing with people of integrity (especially when dealing directly with the property owner rather than a manager) is priceless because you know that if anything goes wrong you can count on them to help resolve the problem. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to rent this villa from Teri when we return to Maui.

Growing up in California, we quickly grew fond of the ocean and nice weather! So when we purchased the condo in the Kapalua Golf Villas, our whole family was thrilled. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place to call our "home away from home." We feel very lucky to be able to share our little piece of paradise with our guests. Since this is our only property, and much like our second home, we treat it more as a guest house, not as a business. We like to get to know our guests personally, often exchanging pictures and Kapalua experiences and stories with them. It is our hope that we will create an extended family, of sorts, with a few guests that would like to return year after year. Of course, we equally welcome those who may only be experiencing Maui for the first time...but we hope to create a friendship that lasts a lifetime with them as well.

The Kapalua Villas is well known both for it's exquisit golf courses as well as it's ideal Maui location. Located on the 'peaceful' side of the island, the Kapalua Villas has everything we could want in a vacation home....beautiful, serene beaches that offer AMAZING snorkeling opportunities as well as the best golf experiences anywhere. This side of the island also offers some of the best surfing, windsurfing and hiking opportunities around. What we like the best, is that it offers all this without that 'tourist' feeling. It really is a dream come true to own a little piece of paradise in the Kapalua Villas.

There is SO much to do at the Kapalua Villas. Our property is conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Our lanai looks over the 5th tee 0f the Bay Course with views of the ocean and the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the distance. The shopping is great and the restaurants are remarkable!! However, we often enjoy making our own home cooked meals in our complete and remodeled kitchen, or BBQing some fresh fish poolside (right above our unit!) while watching the sunset. You can do as much or as little as you want...and be perfectly satisfied either way.
