This cabin is perfect. It's a beautiful location that is secluded but still has plenty around to do. There is a lot of wildlife, the bedding is wonderful and the internet was blazing fast. We will be back to enjoy again in the winter!

Perfect getaway

The cabin is beautiful,clean and private all the amenities are there and if you feel like venturing out the town of Woodstock is close by

Lovely indeed! The cabin was clean, warm, and inviting...we loved the books on the history of the Ashokan Reservoir and identifying animals by their tracks and scat. The frogs in the little stream a few yards from the cabin were fun to watch. The beds were comfortable, and wow, was it perfectly dark there at night!I wish it hadn't been overcast so we could do some stargazing, because I think out in the clearing would have been a PERFECT spot.

The cabin was beautiful, spotlessly clean and well provisioned with bed linens, bathroom supplies, and kitchen implements. The surrounding environment was peaceful, serene and secluded, just what we wanted! We really could not have asked for a better getaway. Thank you Jonathan and Jessica for allowing providing us with the perfect place to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary.

We had an incredible time at the cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for--incredibly private, surrounded by wilderness, but comfortable and clean. The inside is cozy, spacious, and well kept, with multiple areas to sit and relax, great windows, and great sunlight. We spent most of our time outside on the deck, listening to birds and insects, enjoying the beautiful woods. The cabin is located just a short (and lovely) drive from the many fantastic restaurants in Woodstock, Phoenicia, and others, as well as numerous hiking opportunities. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet, comfortable getaway surrounded by nature!

Very clean small cabin up on a secluded hill. Maybe 15-20 min to Woodstock. Great host and highly recommend this cabin. Very steep driveway which could be tricky in inclement weather but we had no issues in a normal 2 WD vehicle when dry. Definitely wood stay there again.

Property was very secluded, yet close enough to be convenient while exploring nearby towns of Woodstock, Phoenicia, Hunter, and Tannersville. Personally, I enjoyed the opportunity to unwind sitting on the front porch after being surrounded by fellow tourists most of the day. Amenities were comfortable, and having a kitchen meant we weren’t reliant on restaurants the entire trip. Good experience.

What an amazing place! So peaceful and quiet, surrounded by lush forest and nature sounds. The house is comfortable and spacious, with all the amenities. The wraparound deck is great—we spent a lot of time just sitting there and enjoying the woods. There are tons of great hiking opportunities within a short drive, plus incredible restaurants in Woodstock, Phoenicia, and other towns in the area. This is a truly special place and we’re very grateful to have been able to spend time enjoying it!
