Very lovely place to stay, right on the creek, with a patch to go sit by the water. The space was clean and comfortable, and the host very supportive and responsive. We enjoyed having a fire at night and how convenient it was to get to hikes and go into town. Great find.

Property is as described, but is actually larger than it appears in the photographs. The location is perfect. If you’re interested in hiking in various parts of the Catskills, being centrally located was super convenient. Really enjoyed the property, particularly the streamside seating that was restful after a day of hiking.

Lovely, clean apartment in the beautiful Catskills. Meandering, well-maintained path to a mountain stream with chairs and firepit. Nestled above a sweet little town. Host was accommodating and very pleasant. Would return.

Gorgeous location, absolutely loved hanging out by the creek! Near so many great things, such as Phoenicia Diner and Kaaterskill Falls. Ian was an excellent host and the house was lovely!

Streamside was a quiet and off the grid place to relax and unwind. The apartment was spacious and offered all you needed. The secluded spot is easy to miss (as we did on our arrival) - but once you landmark it, it is easy to find and you will appreciate it's peaceful setting. The location was only a few minutes from town yet while at streamside, you were surrounded by nature and felt hours away from everything. We loved waking up to the quiet - the only sound being the stream behind the apartment. The well laid out walkway to the stream was much appreciated. Overall a great place to hide away and recharge.

Very nice place love the Firestove river near by restaurants ect. but in future the owner can install solar power cause power when of for almost 8 hrs. Or I recommend him he could install a generator if solar to expensive. But other wise you guys will love it over their

Great little place with a lovely fireplace and funky furniture/decor. Ian was a great and took care of us. The listing says it’s an apartment, and it technically is, but it very much feels like your own home.

Great place for our long awaited trip back to the Phoenicia area. Perfect location, two miles from Phoenicia on a beautiful stream. Great hosts and great accommodations. Highly recommended!

Memorial Day weekend

Nice stay over Memorial Day weekend, the owner was attentive and had good communication. The stay was lovely and very near a beautiful stream. The location is great for all sorts of Catskill activities

Relaxing getaway

My wife and I spent four nights here and didn't want to leave. The hummingbrds, the gardens, the birds, the stream...it was heaven.

The property setting was beautiful, with a nice sitting area at the Streamside. The inside was a nice mix of cabin and retro vibes. Ian was very helpful with lots of local recommendations and accommodated an early check in. Very clean and well stocked! Although we didn’t use it, there was a nice wood burning stove complete with instructions for use.

Peaceful place to stay in a beautiful area of NY

This was accommodation which was just as adventised: clean, well equipped kitchen and bathroom with comfortable beds. Glad that we chose this place. Near to a couple of towns and many hiking trails. Sumptuous to stay in October with the fall foilage!

Don't pass on this hidden gem

property is absolutely beautiful, located just a few minutes from town and having back yard access to a stream was everything we wanted. Host was wonderful and would certainly book again!

My adult daughter and I stayed for 4 nights. Ian was very friendly and responsive. The place is very comfortable, cozy and well stocked. What really made it for us was the location, right by the Stony Creek where we enjoyed many peaceful hours. We will go back. I can recommend it without hesitation!
