The newly constructed apartment is located a few steps from Cascade Creek with up-to-date appliances, large gathering area and fully furnished. The large kitchen with balcony provide our guests with a unique ocean front view, including a breathtaking view of Mt. Edgecumbe. The master bedroom comes with a queen size bed with attached bathroom. The second bedroom comes with a queen size bed and bunk bed along with an unattached, large bath with washer and dryer. *Please note ~ We unfortunately do not have an elevator so if doing stairs is an issue for any of your party, our property would not be a good fit.

Absolutely, amazing stay! Fun location near sandy beach. Fully equipped kitchen. We rented a car and that worked best for us.The view is the best name for this location truly enjoy Sitka Beauty without stepping outside the door if you wish.

Awesome place

Sitka by the Seaside

The accommodations were wonderful and the Krafts were welcoming, friendly and hospitable hosts. It was a great place for us to stay as we were in town to visit family and reconnect with friends. The view of the seaside was amazing!

Best stay in Sitka!

Our apartment was clean, well maintained and had the best view! Close to grocery store, bus stop and fishing. A+ accommodation.

Luxurious and peaceful

This place is very nice and clean, comfortable and relaxing. You cannot beat the beautiful ocean view and the sound of the waves hitting the beach.

Nicely Remodeled on the Ocean!

Beautiful view of Mt. Edgecombe. Super friendly and easy to work with Host after our flights were canceled twice. Will stay here again on our next trip to Sitka.

View better than advertised

Gorgeous property, perfect way to end a stay in Sitka after camping for a week. Location is a little outside of town by good sidewalks make it very walkable.

Our stay at The View

We stayed at “The View” for our daughter’s graduation from Mt. Edgecumbe High School. The location is right on the water, with incredible oceanfront views. The location is impeccably clean and the host was wonderful! We hope to stay here again for our next daughter’s graduation in 2029.

Just Amazing

What a lovely place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time- we had everything we possibly could need, the beds were really comfortable, and the view! We loved seeing the sea otters and bald eagles from the deck. Thank you!

Beautiful spacious apartment with nice view

Hosts were helpful with local info and check in was easy. Beautiful view. Lovely airy spacious apartment. Would highly recommend. People we were traveling with staying in Sitka wished they had booked a stay here.

Peaceful Retreat

The outside was deceiving as to how nice this VRBO was. I had a wonderful weekend with my sons. The view from the patio was amazing. The property manage communicated quickly and was very accommodating. We will definitely stay again.

Everything we hoped for!

Beautiful accommodations right on the water overlooking bald eagles on the beach. Very clean, spacious and well supplied. Ideal location just 2 blocks from the large grocery and liquor stores. We plan to return to the same unit. Everything was perfect as depicted. It was a pleasure to stay here. Hosts were wonderful!

It’s All About the View

The view is worth every stair you climb to enter! No need for a sound machine, just crack the window and fall asleep listening to the waves! Convenient location, spacious and clean. Hosts checked in every few days to see if anything was needed. Will definitely be back!

Magical Sitka

I have been traveling to Sitka for 15 years and this is the first time staying at an VRBO property vs a fishing lodge. I highly recommend this location. It is right on the water it is clean and comfortable. Big kitchen with a nice deck off the back. Rooms can control their level of comfort so those who want a warmer space, can adjust without making the rest of the party uncomfortable. Easy access, clean, and quite.

Awesome Beachfront Views

This unit is like new. Very clean, well furnished and very spacious. It's an upstairs unit right on the ocean and the views from the kitchen, main bedroom, dining area and small deck can't be beat. Two full baths with washer and dryer in unit made it convenient to be able to dry clothes if you got caught in the rain. I don't consider this a detraction but if you are unable to manage a flight and a half of stairs this may not be the place for you. I'm looking forward to staying here again.

Hello! Thank you viewing our property. My husband Richard and myself (Caryn) have lived in beautiful Sitka for almost 20 years now and we love it! It's beauty and friendly people make it a true paradise.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We (our family) all worked together to build/make this apartment. Its large kitchen and living area makes it very comfortable for any size group. Having the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, it can accommodate a family or 2 couples very easily. We are very happy how it all came together.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our ocean front view of Mt Edgecumbe volcano (dormant) changes every day, all day long! Sunsets can be breathtaking so keep your camera handy at all times!
