FISHING TRIP

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kitchen is fanastically equipped. If you like to cook, you will like this place. Beds and furniture are very nice. We actually walked to the airport for our departure (about a 12 minute walk). We also walked downtown for dinner. The house is across the street from Sealing Harbor marina which allowed our fishing boat to pick us up each morning. It could use some curtains or shades on the master bedroom and bath.

Sitka Fishing Adventure 2026

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay at this rental and one of our favorites. The view is incredible. The house is clean and well maintained. Management was very responsive to a few minor maintenance items (batteries needing replaced in the door lock). The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need and we had several great meals. The location is close to town. We enjoy watching the planes land and all the fishing boats. Our kids spent hours searching for treasures from the shore right in front of the house. We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful home!

This home on Japonski Island is a short walk into Sitka. It was amazing! Along with the constant views of beautiful Alaska out the walls of windows, this home is sparkly clean. Amenities are organized and plentiful. We were so comfortable that it was hard to leave! The owner was easy to contact and helpful. This property will not disappoint. Over the years, it is one of the best we have ever rented through VRBO. We hope to return! Mary in Vermont, formerly from Sitka

The kitchen had everything you could think of, the beds were comfortable and we spent hours sitting in the chairs overlooking the water. Thanks for the wonderful home and can't wait until next year. We could walk right to the airport which was also a big plus as we didn't have to rent a car.

GORGEOUS VIEW!!! Beauitful home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful family get-together at this amazing Sitka home right on the water. Rental was clean, well maintained, had everything we needed for our group of 6 and the manager was easy to reach if needed. Would definitely recommend and will return! We especially enjoyed the fire-pit in the backyard as we watched fish jump from the water, boats out in the sea and the occasional plane take off and land. (Btw, they are not annoying at all and in fact quite fun to experience if you catch them!)

Sitka

my sisters visited Sitka for our fist time to celebrate birthdays. What a beautiful part of the country! Our accommodations were perfect. The view from the home is exceptional. We enjoyed sitting outdoors having coffee in a comfy living area. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There was plenty of room for six adults. The location was perfect for shuttling to various locations. You do get plane traffic due to the proximity to the airport. We were not bothered by it. My suggestion would be a few instructions fir using the fireplaces and for the front doir. we struggled with the smart key pad. I would absolutely stay here again.
