Looking for a place to relax and get away from it all? Then welcome to the Heidi house! We have 10 acres of natural landscape adjoining public lands. The house is an OLDER 2 bedroom with a cozy modern fireplace insert where you can watch the fire while relaxing after a day on the mountain or High Lakes. There is also a hot tub out the back door to star gaze on the crystal clear Central Oregon nights. Sleeps 4. There is wifi at this property. Please be aware of local fire restrictions during the summer months. Extra guests above 4 $40/night. RV parking shall be approved by owner, and may require added fees. $100 cleaning fee. $15/night per pet fee. State and Local tax 9.8% DCCA #1484

This place is nothing fancy, but we loved it and will consider coming back if we are in the area again. The listing is very clear about the condition of the house (not "updated", nothing fancy). The host was very responsive when we unexpectedly had to bring our dogs. The dogs are city dogs and they LOVED the property. The only thing I want to mention is the toilet is a little crowded in the knee area, if you're too tall.

This is a one-of-a-kind place. The location bring these words to mind: solitude, quiet, peaceful. The house is definitely on the older side, as advertised, but comfortable. After a couple of days, going back from sightseeing became "let's go home.”Our hosts were very accommodating and quick to answer questions. We do think a few things need to be looked at. The toaster appears to have only one setting: burnt, and the oven could use a good cleaning. Maybe these are things that most visitors don’t use, so it’s not come to light. On the more positive, the electric kettle was a marvel. Having never used one before, I was easily impressed. So much so, I ordered one the day we got back On a whole, this is a special place that calls to those wishing for place of solitude, quiet and peace. We’ll definitely be booking this place again.

Great Location

This is an older home, and it has everything you needWe enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong and grill. It’s close to Bend and we hiked, biked and did a river float. The property is rustic and we saw elk!

Lots of space

Beautiful area with lots of space to explore. Wonderful communication from the owners and had everything we needed for a great getaway. Would come here again!

Relaxing Stay

We so appreciated this property and being able to bring our dogs with us to Sunriver. We would have been content to stay at this property the whole time. Beautiful space to let kids play and relax after busy days. Was so nice to have the AC unit and fans to stay cool. Absolutely loved the property.

Secluded cabin

We wanted to escape fireworks around July 4 so it was perfect choice.Cabin is older but everything is working beds are comfortable AC was a big plus We liked sitting by the fire pit , hot tab was nice , game room with ping pong was nice addition. We saw deers walking around . We really enjoyed our stay Thank you .

Clean, rustic getaway

House was older, but clean with comfortable beds, so fit the bill for us. Very near Sunriver, where some friends were staying, but otherwise fairly secluded, which was quite a pleasant change. No internet, which was actually probably a good thing for us, but may be a turn off for some. Overall very pleasant booking experience and stay.

This place was a a cute older place! The property was sweet, cute, and very spacious ... the hot tub and back where very nice! My sons spent alot of time riding bikes in the backyard, playing horse shoes, and basket ball... the beds were comfy ... finding stores fekt a little ways away but not bad! The auqutic center was close and fun! Thanks for a great stay! Id come back! .. only down fall it is old so the floor is very squeekie when you walk ... my son loved seeing all the chip monks all over!

Rustic home

We had a great time in OR. We didn’t hang out at the house too much as we were playing in the great outdoors, but it was nice to return home and relax in this quiet rustic spot. If the smoke was not as bad as it was at night, we would have loved sitting outside taking in the stars. Maybe next time

Simple Secluded Spot, All You Need

Leigh Anne was the perfect host from the first correspondence. She was available anytime we had a question and truly made us feel at home. We felt very much at home in her home. The house is cozy and warm with the wood burning stove as the focal point, the kitchen roomy, updated with everything we needed and the king sized beds were comfy. The ten acres felt like our own slice of paradise with nice walks through the pines out the door, while the hot tub, basketball hoop, and ping pong table kept us busy. A wonderful place for a small family reunion.

Wander-full!

This place had everything we needed and wanted for our trip to Bend/Sunriver! The place was very clean and included all of the basic amenities. We enjoyed using the hot tub every night, roasted s’mores over the fire pit, and my pups LOVED the outdoor space to run around in. We were initially worried about the heat since it didn’t seem to have central A/C, but it got pretty cool during the night and the host provided various fans to place in the bedrooms/living space if desired. Being a secluded place only a short drive to Bend and even shorter drive to Sunriver, we are SO happy we decided to go with this place and would definitely stay here again.

Great, relaxing place to stay!

Great homie feel! Very quiet out in a very nice wooded area. Had everything you need to joy a relaxing vacation. Nice back yard deck with Weber Gas Grill for bbq'n. The front and back yard was filled with Ponderosa and Jack pine trees. There was a hot tub and the deck had a outdoor set of table and chairs. It's was only a 5 minute drive to Sunriver Resort and just off of S. Century Drive that goes to the Deschutes River and Mt. Bachler. The Host Leigh Anne communicated very well with us and made the checking in process very easy. She also was also easy to get ahold of and quick to respond, making are stay even more relaxing. Thank You! I definitely would recommend staying here a few days if you get the chance.

A great old cabin/charming

When we first arrived I thought one air conditioner in the whole house... Lol. We were coming from Missouri and one air conditioner would not have worked back home... Although, it seemed to have worked great with the cooler evenings and mornings. Some things were a little outdated, although worked for what we needed the home for (I noticed most things in Oregon are outdated. That's probably what makes Oregon beautiful.)We had a great time visiting family in La pine. I really don't have any complaints. We didn't no how to work the hot tub...no wifi. The communication could have been better, but that was probably my fault. I didn't know about the communication icon on the VRBO app. We would definitely stay again and would recommend others to stay also. Charming is a great word to describe the home.
