Small families, a group of couples, or several close friends will love this Gulf Highlands condo, featuring easy beach access, perks like a shared pool, and fantastic views from the private balcony.

The hotel is a short walk from the beach, as well as dining at the Sassy Bass Grill and the Kiva Grill. Fort Morgan is nine miles to the west, featuring its own beaches to explore alongside historic fortifications and boardwalks. The nearby Mobile Bay Ferry offers quick access to Dauphin Island. Shops, restaurants, and bars await in Gulf Shores 15 miles east.

Things to know:
Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.

This rental is located on floor 1.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The only issue we had was the door lock… and even then, still a perfect vacation spot. The issue was quickly resolved! Everything was super clean and tidy, and the location is super convenient! Would recommend this listing to anyone.

Great location!

We loved we were right by the beach and there was places to eat in walking distance. We did have some issues with the door that were quickly resolved.

We enjoyed the proximity to the beach as it was very easily accessible and made it helpful with small children; however, I felt that the condo itself was not as clean as it could have been.

Ok for the few days we were there. Had issues with our smoke detector going off, some of the outlets did not work, lighting could have been better in the bedrooms, but overall it was fine.

Spring Break Stay

The condo was in a great location to the pools, beach, etc. The only thing I would add is make sure there is an extra cover/blanket for the sofa bed. I looked everywhere and finally went and purchased one!

Nice place

I loved the easy access to the beach. The pools, hot tubs, pickle ball courts etc were great and well taken care of. The condo itself was a nice setup but could have been cleaned better.

Anniversary tradition

This is our second year coming to this complex, first in this specific condo. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back next year. Great spot for couples or families. Not too crowded beaches and pools, clean and comfy, a few restaurants nearby that did the trick! We can’t wait for year 3!

Great

I loved how close it was to on the beach. Me and my friend stayed in the East building, building one and it was not far of a walk. I loved the kitchen space. the pull out couch was not the best for comfort but everything else was great!

Weekend trip

We had a great time. The amenities at the complex were great. It was a short walk to the beach and balcony had a slight view of the ocean. The kitchen needed a few things. I bought pot holders while I was there and also there was only 1 spoon and 1 not so sharp knife. Also, needed a measuring cup. We enjoyed family time and would return.

Quiet

The resort itself was very nice and kid friendly. The mandatory quiet hours helped me get really good sleep. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The unit I stayed in had a bad fridge and damaged walls. If these were amended it would be fine to stay in again.

Family Visit

Booking was a breeze and the condo was cute. Unfortunately, it was not fully clean upon arrival. We communicated our concerns with Vacasa and were told that a manager would communicate with us. They never did.

Great condo for a beach focused trip

We really enjoyed this first floor condo unit. We had previously stayed in a condo on the same resort area. It had almost everything we needed for a family of five. Everything was in working order. Be sure to pack extra sheets for the pullout sofa, some oven mitts, cereal bowls and baking sheets if those are items needed for your trip. Overall the location was great and there is even a Dollar General close by for any forgotten items, which is helpful for this unit being further out in Fort Morgan.

Good location but...

Property was good and location to pool and beach was good. This unit was up to date. The twin beds were better than the queen bed. Make sure the unit was throughly cleaned. It was not for us. We could tell the several surfaces were not cleaned. Calling customer service was at least a 2 hour plus wait.

Great value, little rough around the edges

Gulf shores plantation is a great complex, everything you need is there. The pools were great and we loved the indoor hot tub. The condo was just ok, however it was a great price so I can't complain much. The kitchen was missing some basic necessities. Make sure to bring your own utensils because there were not enough forks or spoons for our family. Several of the utensils and cookware still had food particles on them. The master bed was just ok, very wobbly. Plenty of storage for clothes in closets and furniture. Several furniture pieces were obviously very used and banged up. There were several spots of unpainted drywall mud throughout the condo. This place was perfect for our family, just don’t expect the nicest most updated condo for the price.

Amazing location

The condo itself could use a few minor repairs and a new coat of paint, otherwise the location was amazing, it was quiet, everyone was very nice and we had a great vacation. The issues were when we got to the condo it had NOT been cleaned well, if at all. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, hair still stuck to the tub, and dirty foot prints in the tub floor. When we got into the bed the first night, there was hair in the bed/ on the pillow. They did offer to have a local person come into clean but we declined. The hot tub was under maintenance, then the next day the sign was gone but there was DIRTY foam at the top of the water and the water was colder than the pool water with the heater turned on. We only found 2 outdoor pools and the indoor pool, not sure where the rest were. I would stay again but I’m hoping some simple maintenance and better cleaning and all amenities will be in working order for our next visit.
