A studio room in a GREAT location! Queen bed, includes Kitchenette area with double Stovetop (including pots and pans), Microwave, Coffee maker, Toaster and a selection of dinner and silverware.
There's a Shower/Tub in the bathroom, it comes with your first couple of nights amenities (shampoo, soap etc.)- We have Beach gear including Towels and Beach chairs.
The Hotel Pool area is AWESOME & the perfect place to relax if you're not going to the beach that is only 2 mins away!

Our 9th floor suite at The Bamboo Hotel is located in the Heart of Waikiki and all it has to offer. We're surrounded by great restaurants, some fun bars and of course great shopping! As I mentioned we are just 2 mins walk to the famous Waikiki Beach (featured regularly on Hawaii Five 'O and other TV shows.)
The Pacific Ocean near us is aqua marine in color due to the light white coral sands and we are adjacent to the protected lagoon - ideal for swimmers and relaxing on floats.

Once you come home from a day out our suite offers a quiet relaxing base to call home. The suite benefits from blackout curtains and good air conditioning great for sleeping in.

You will have full access to the hotel pool, hot tub and amenities including coffee station and DVD rental station.

After personally checking you in and showing you the suites WiFi code, amenities and beach gear. We leave you to relax and discover Honolulu.

We are on hand throughout your stay and just a phone call away should you need us.

Great Value

A pretty standard hotel room except for the 2 coil burner on the counter. Suited my needs perfectly. Nice building. Views of the ocean from the deck.

Quiet get away

The pool area was nicely shaded, unfortunately a building is being built next door so, there was lots of noise while at the pool. The balcony was great for the morning sunshine. Lots of places to eat all around.

Pros - Extremely clean- Great location on the main strip and close to the beach- Outstanding value for the areaCons- Parking can be a challenge if you don’t call and reserve a parking spot with the office prior to arrival- Sliding glass door allows much street noise to enter- Ceiling could use a fresh coat of paint

It wasn't too bad

It is a low budget place to stay. The property is pretty dated although some of the regular rooms looked a little more modern these rooms were not considered part of the motel, so they were basic. Not a glamorous place by any means but the bed was soft and the view wasn't too bad. Location was good. Just a few minutes from the excitement. I didn't need any frills and didn't get any.

Loved the location of the Bamboo. Easybwalk to the beach , shops and restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We personally like the smaller boutique type character the Bamboo has. Would stay again.

We enjoyed this property ! The staff were friendly and location is excellent . It’s an older hotel , the room was small but was great for the 2 of us! Hoping to be back next year!

Location is great with a short walk to the beach and many restaurants and food trucks nearby. Loved using the beach chairs and cooler. Comfy bed and the place was small yet cozy.

We stay a week in this cute studio, that is small but functional. We enjoyed eating on the balcony, the proximity to the beach and how easy it was to get buses. It is in the center of Waikiki with tons of shopping nearby. However, being in Waikiki, it is also noisy and direct facing a taller building.

Mixed Feelings

Check-In took 45 minutes to begin despite arriving 15 minutes early and no line. There’s constant issues with between the front desk and brokerage/realty company. The property was no as nice as photographed, however still a great value. There were many families with children. The food was good at the hotel but limited. I saw a roach the size of a half dollar crawl under a neighbors door, which almost caused me to leave. Quite frankly, I couldn’t afford to at that point and was told by a fellow guest that not only had he brought this up with the front desk without so much as an apology from staff but that it’s common to have all kinds of insects on the island find their way inside. While I found this quite unusual, as previously stated I couldn’t afford to leave. I used linen to cover the gap by the door and never had food garbage in the room. W also swept several times, not something I expected or wanted to do. I struggled with the question of whether I would recommend this place, therefore I attempted to leave an honest review. Lastly, while there was no resort fee, it was disappointing, inconvenient, and misleading to claim there was beach towels. There were 2 that you could never exchange as it is a privately owned unit and not part of the overall hotel.

Cute retro hotel

The pool area was really quaint, comfortable and private. The restaurant at the pool serves delicious meals. Quick walk to Waikiki beach and close to shopping, restaurants etc. room was smaller than pictured and could use some updates. Bed was comfortable.

the suite is big enough for a couple but no more than that. The unit could use an update and a deep cleaning. The pros are that it is in an excellent location and the pool area is great. There is a small ocean view. One of the beach chairs was broken so we bought beach mats.It could use a few more items in the kitchenette. Bathroom could use a fan and the lanai could use smaller furniture to fit the space better. Air conditioning worked well and bed was comfortable enough. Great view, great pool and great location of hotel

This is a cute little property with a balcony that has a view of the ocean. It was clean and ready to go when we arrived. You don't have to wait for an elevator very long and there are only a couple rooms on each floor. Nice boutique hotel that is only a short walk to the beach! Thank-you!

Wonderful studio in the midst of everything!

Lovely studio minutes from beach, shopping, restaurants. Water view from the balcony. Responsive hosts. Would definitely stay there again. Could use a fan in the bathroom to cut down on moisture.

There is a pavilion and even a barbecue grill - it's a wonderful spot to take a swim, or just simply relax after a day of activity.
