Welcome to Cloverfield! Our guests will immediately be immersed in the quiet sanctuary of their own pine-lined private drive. The cottage just had a full remodel in 2019 so you are stepping into a brand new oasis! Your private treelined driveway alongside sprawling horse corrals leads you directly to the cottage with plenty of parking for everyone. The quaint cottage offers privacy for all your guests in a quiet country setting. We offer three cozy bedrooms, and two full baths, plus a well equipped kitchen. You may extend the living room couch into a queen-sized sleeper, and enjoy all of your favorite entertainment with free wi-fi and a 50” flat screen. You are welcome to a relaxing stroll through several acres of woods and gardens. We are in the heart of horse and golf country with plenty of fun just a few miles away. The gorgeous cottage is centrally located just 3 Miles from downtown Southern Pines and 6 Miles from downtown Pinehurst. Within 10 minutes are numerous public parks, splashpads, miles of walking and biking trails, dozens of playgrounds, frisbee golf, tennis and basketball courts open and lit until midnight during the summer months. Your entire family will find something exciting for everyone of all ages. Be sure to stay Friday nights so you won’t miss free movie nights in the park, taco trucks at Southern Pines brewery, or live music at the downtown amphitheater. The Cottage may be rented by the week or month fully furnished. All utilities are included in the pricing. Cloverfield is a B&B Home by definition but we prefer to think of ourselves as a retreat for our family and yours. We do live on the property but we will not bother you, you probably won't ever see us unless we are all out and about at the same time. You have the privacy and seclusion of your own driveway, front yard and space around your rental. We do allow pets, please discuss with Lauren before booking. And while we are not a Venue by definition, we do occasionally allow events to be held at the Cloverfield property. If you would like more information about renting out the entire property for your event please contact Lauren to discuss. We look forward to hosting you!

A Great Get Away From Stress

Super quiet, very comfy and cozy 😊! The only problem we had, was having to go back to our stressful lives 😂. Definitely will come back?

FABULOUS property, host, and location

Such an amazing old farmhouse - with plenty of room to bring the whole family, & we loved the fact that our fur baby was welcomed. Super comfortable bed, linens, and furniture. Loved the covered front porch with swing, rocking chairs, and decor. All amenities ( food, golf etc ) were found within a short drive. Hosts Ben and Lauren made themselves available with immediate responses to a couple queries we had. Highly recommend this property and hosts. THANK YOU for a memorable visit!

Cloverfield started as a pipe dream in 2018 when the Cramer Family found this hidden gem. The 1900s farmhouse and guest cottages had been completely abandoned for over 10 years when the Cramers saw the property and immediately fell in love with it. Everyone told them they were crazy, but they knew they could restore the property and bring the beautiful property back from the brink. They took a little over a year to work on it, day in and day out. But with a lot of hard work, determination and a few of Lauren's tears they did it! Cloverfield started welcoming guests in 2019 to stay in the Guest Cottage (3bed/2bath) and Guest Barn (1bed/1bath). We are a Bed & Breakfast House with openings for you to enjoy our 6 acre private retreat either in the Cottage or Barn. We have a total of 4 rooms open for you to use as you wish. While we are not a venue by definition, we do occasionally offer private events to be held at our B&B home. You would be able to rent out the entire property with it's accommodations for your special event. Please message us directly to check pricing and availability.

And exactly one hour's drive to/from Raleigh's RDU International Airport. You will have the entire 6 acre property to yourselves to plan, play & stay for you and your guests. Cloverfield is rented in 24 hour increments with options to add on days before/after your event day. The 6 acres provides you and your guests with a beautiful ceremony site, reception site, The Guest Cottage, The Guest Barn, storage/vendor set up in The Ranch House and the privacy and exclusivity of the grounds to enjoy as you wish.
