Welcome to Peace & Plenty! Newly remodeled 3 brm, house. 10 houses from sand!

Don"t be fooled by lower listing rates of others on first glance. Ones that might look cheaper can actually be more expensive. Put in dates for accurate rates. Vacation Rental permit #151288.

Peace & Plenty is a two story, 3 bedroom home with views of the ocean and our beautiful creek. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen and a twin in another bedroom and a queen in the third.
This charming light-filled house with beautiful views of Aptos Creek and the Pacific Ocean is a mere 10 house flat walk to Rio Del Mar beach along the picturesque creek. Quick walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner or market! So convenient!

- Beautiful succulent filled patio with fire pit, dining table and lounge chairs , Perfect for relaxing, reading a book or great conversation around the fire.

- Brand new well-equipped kitchen for cooking up gourmet meals if you desire. Many wonderful restaurants close by. The new VENUS is a 3 minute walk.

- Al fresco dining on balcony and patio.

- Living room includes a gas fireplace for a some lovely ambiance!

- All you need for a day at the beach - beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, and outdoor shower for rinsing off.

- Gas BBQ on the patio

- Free WiFi, large screen TV with basic cable, Netflix, Amazon.

- Let Alexa play your favorite music.

- Full-size washer and dryer

- Minutes to local Seacliff favorites - Marianne's Ice Cream parlor , Pizza 1 and Manuel's Mexican restaurant to name a few.

- Convenient, five-minute drive to Safeway, coffee shops and the Aptos Farmers Market.

-2 parking spaces in carport . Also lots of parking on the street.

- Like all beaches in northern California we do get visits from seals, dolphins, whales and the occasional shark. We like to call it nature ... please plan accordingly.

- Check-in is 3:00pm, and check out is 11:00am. We can accommodate early check in or late check out depending on availability. Please confirm with owner before making plans.

We need renters with children to be aware that it is a 2-story house with stairs and a balcony. Stairs are not able to be blocked off at top.

Also there is a free standing fireplace in living room that gets very hot on outside so people must watch the little ones.

There is also a firepit outside which gets very hot so children will need to be supervised when on the patio.

Peace & Plenty doesn't come close to how nice this place is. We got to meet Diane and her husband...very nice people.The patio area was BEAUTIFUL and so calming.Kitchen was great.Thank you so much for giving us an opportunity to stay in your beautiful beach home.

Perfect location. My family had a wonderful time in Aptos and this house had it all. It was well appointed with all of your necessaries to unpack and immediately unwind. We walked 5 minutes to the beach every day, we enjoyed the deck for morning coffee, and ate al fresco on the patio. We had a very small plumbing issue with the kitchen sink (totally normal stuff) and the owners had it resolved asap- so attentive and responsive, it was no inconvenience at all. I share that because we’ve stayed in other vacation homes with no response from property management when issues arose so this was such a welcome and great change!

Perfect Getaway

Perfect location and a beautiful home to create new memories with family. This home was close to the ocean and two cute restaurants. So blessed to have got to enjoy morning walks by the water and see seals and whales in the water.

Thanksgiving at the coast

We loved our stay here! Newly remodeled clean and comfortable home. We put the kitchen through its paces and it came through with flying colors! there were six of us staying here and there was plenty of room for all.Communication with the owner was great and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Aptos family getaway

We had a great stay in Aptos. House has a cool Cali beach vibe, awesome first floor huge patio, very well equipped, including beach stuff. Communication was great. Plenty of room for us and four adult kids.

Comfortable house; nice location

Living space above feels spacious; sleeping quarters below are comfortable; fenced patio is private and peaceful. Nice that it's along the Aptos Creek and not on the main road. An easy, pleasant walk to the beach and the trail up to Seacliff with stunning views of Soquel Cove.

Mogge/Power Gathering Summer 2024

This is a wonderful property with so many conveniences. The property is well designed. The downstairs sleeping rooms are separate from the kitchen and family areas. The outdoor patio area was a wonderful gathering spot for the group. It is an easy walk to the beach and small village. The grocery store is a very short drive away. I highly recommend this rental for a gathering of friends and family.

Fun House to Stay at

Fun house to stay at. Very comfortable for our party of 5. We had fun with the fireplace and outside fire pit and walking to the beach and creek. Lots of board games/puzzles. No kids toys but my son had lots of fun with their flash light and collecting shells on the beach and looking at the ducks in the creek.

Amazing home away from home.

What a fantastic holiday home , well stocked with everything you need . With a really helpful host. Super comfy beds, peaceful gardens and neighbourhood. Everything you need within in a 5mile radius such as cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, takeaways , garage , doctors and so much more !. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway to an ideal base to explore Californias east coast like we did . The only negative is you didn’t find out about the lodger who stays in the contained flat enjoined to the property until after the deposit was payed , however he didn’t bother us and made little noise .

Perfect Beach House

We enjoyed our stay at Peace and Plenty very much. Being raised in this area, we knew ahead of time that the location would be great. The property is extremely clean and I would have taken the bed home if at all possible. So comfortable!! The house is well stocked, and the sea breeze that flows through the house is wonderful.

Beautiful Home, Great Location!

We had such a wonderful stay! Perfect for a family vacation, a real home away from home. Loved the patio with the beautiful succulent garden and fire pit. Perfect for morning and evening. The home itself is super clean and well appointed from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Location was perfect for beach time and close to great restaurants and other activities like the Nisene Marks and The Boardwalk. Loved it and hope to stay again.

Perfect family getaway

We loved our stay at Rio Del Mar. The beach house is comfortable and cute with a stunning outdoor garden and patio. The kitchen was spacious, lovely, and well-equipped. Overall, our stay was relaxing and peaceful. We loved getting up in the morning and taking the very short walk to the beach to get coffee, heading to the beach in the afternoon, and exploring the surrounding areas.

We moved to the San Joaquin Valley 32 years ago from West Los Angeles and started visiting Aptos several times a year. We were finally able to purchase our home in 2015 after many years of saving! We took 2018 to remodel and create our dream home and started sharing with others. We feel like it is home now and in 2019 were happy to share our little slice of heaven with you. We call her "Peace & Plenty"!
