Let me tell you this VRBO is superb in every way. Ideally situated directly across the street from a fabulous child & dog friendly beach. The kids had so much fun swimming in the ocean with the boogie boards provided by the owner. The house is stocked with every essential you could imagine & then some. We definitely would rent this house again for a future Santa Cruz County vacation.

This place has it all!

We loved everything about this ! It was located on the street above the beach so when you relaxed on the top balcony, you had an incredible view of the ocean. The entire house was stocked to perfection. It had every utensil, serving tray, appliance you could possibly need. Lotion and shampoo galore in the bathroom. There was literally nothing missing. We were here for our daughter‘s graduation from Santa Cruz and this was the perfect place to get away from the crowd and just enjoy the family!

Perfect for our girls’ weekend getaway!

The house was as described in the online listing and more. There was plenty of space for our group of 5 adult family members. There are wonderful ocean views from both inside on the lower level and from the awesome second floor deck. It was clean and well-stocked. One could not ask for a better location, nor a more helpful and accommodating host.

What was Needed

3 old friends from grammar school getting ready for our 50th HS reunion couldn’t have enjoyed a better place. Warm cozy home, with all you need! A perfect deck to eat and enjoy the sunsets, beautiful views all day long. Thank you so much!

Lovely Home, Amazing Location!

We stayed at Maureen’s place with 6 adults and 3 kids and the space was great. You cannot beat the view, the balcony is amazing. Plenty of kitchen utensils, all around great stay.

Amazing deck and view

The view from the second floor deck is spectacular. The house was well stocked and cozy. Very conveniently located to stores and local eateries. Really enjoyed the experience and the location can't beat.

Family Time on the Coast

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our kids and grandkids at this property which had enough room for us, a spectacular view and was conveniently located near many local attractions. (The cleaning fee seemed a little high given that we tried to leave the house as clean as it was when we arrived, but maybe the charge is typical.) We would definitely recommend to others!

Lovely!

This property was so cute! It was fully stocked with everything you would possibly need! Beautiful balcony view of the ocean. We watched a whale for hours off the balcony. The photos are just as it looks.

The house was quaint and charming. Nothing could beat the view.

We had four adults and three chhildren and all enjoyed their stay at the house. The accommodations were dated, but more than adequate. The highlight was the view from the balcony. We spent most of our time while at the house up there watching dolphins.

Annual Family Fun Time

This is my 6th stay at this lovely and well maintained home. Fabulous view from living room and deck are so enticing you never have to dip your toes in the sand. Sleeping accommodations are perfect for my family. My grandchildren refer to it as their beach house and ask all year long when we get to return.

Amazing house overlooking the ocean!

We loved staying at this beautiful home, with incredible views of the ocean. There were 10 of us and we all felt the house was very spacious, clean and the perfect home for all of us. The whole rental experience was seamless and very easy. We will definitely rent again! Thank you so much Maureen!

Cleaning fee

Communication with the owner was great. She responds quickly. However, the cleaning fee was a bit much. Some of the sheets have an odor where we had to wash it before using it.

Best Thanksgiving ever!

Words really can’t describe how great this location is. Located right in front of the ocean, and a block from Sea Cliff Beach. This home accommodated my families Thanksgiving celebration. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook. Thank you to Mother Nature, the weather was absolutely beautiful, which just made this trip over the top. Thank you Maureen for opening up your family home to us. We will never forget this Thanksgiving.

Missing it already

My friends and I stayed at this beach house this past weekend and had a wonderful time. The pictures don't do it justice. It was spacious enough for 10 of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, and the patio upstairs was a great place for us all to relax and hang out. The views are unobstructed and spectacular. The location is fantastic - close to Seacliff Beach, Marianne's Ice Cream, stores, Santa Cruz and Monterey. We hope to come back again next year.

Clean, comfortable and an awesome view!

Had a great spring break at the Morris House. Clean, comfortable and has all the necessities. Loved sleeping with the windows open to hear the ocean... electric blankets were a nice extra! We are hoping to get back again soon. A nice change from the busy Santa Cruz/Capitola area. Lots of things to do in the area. We had 4 adults and 6 kids total and we were more than comfortable. BTW... the home is nicer than the pictures.

Wonderful stay!

We had family visit CA for the 1st time and decided to stay here. We had 11 people in our party and we were all very comfortable. We had 3 families and each family took a bedroom. It worked out perfectly. The beds are very comfortable and everything is very clean. We also spotted a whale from the deck, which was incredible! The walk to the beach stairs isn't bad at all and the stairs were good exercise. Marianne's delicious ice cream is also within walking distance. Overall, a great experience. I hope we can find an excuse to come back again!

Million Dollar View!

Great place for a quite get away! We were a little early in the season. So, it was still a little cool but the view was spectacular and the sand was warm on the feet. Loved walking the beach, playing in the sand and flying a kite with my 3 year old grandson! Maureen was great when I sent her a message that the trash cans were full from the previous tenants and were not going to picked up for a few more days she brought us over 2 more trash cans. Couldn’t ask for better service than that. The place was clean and well stocked with housewares. We would definitely stay there again,

Because our extended family enjoyed the beach so much, our grandparents purchased the house. Our uncle built a house on the street behind the house and a cousin lived in another house on that street so we always had lots of people together. With the peaceful sound of the ocean and the gorgeous view from the deck, living room, upstairs bedrooms we have always appreciated this special place. Regardless of the weather, this home will leave you relaxed and rejuvenated. The beach and area provide the opportunity to take in the outdoors and enjoy the ocean.
