Easy-Access Studio with Full Kitchen on Broughton by Lucky Savannah

Walk past the main home and through the expansive courtyard to access this private, first-level studio apartment - once a carriage house as part of this historic Savannah estate. Guests are within close distance to River Street, City Market, and Savannah's best shopping and dining along Broughton Street.

Walk into the full size kitchen, equipped with full-size fridge, range, and dishwasher. The cozy bedroom is around the corner, decorated with Southern touches all while keeping your comfort a priority. The Queen size bed is dressed in hotel grade linens, professionally pressed between each visit. With two large closets and a standing chest of drawers, you're encouraged to unpack your suitcase and even consider extending your stay. A washer and dryer can be found hidden behind closet doors.

A full bath with walk in shower is attached to the kitchen. Towels and soap are complimentary to your stay.

East Broughton Street is swiftly becoming a bustling part of the city, with new restaurant East End Provisions joining the locally-cherished Cha Bella. Be sure to stop into Capital Bee Co. for a brick of local honey comb. Head due West towards the center of downtown and be greeted with Savannah's best shopping and dining options. On our list for must-sees: The Paris Market, Halfmoon Outfitters, Leopold's Ice Cream, and The Prohibition Museum.

Catch a trolley (or count those steps) and head South along Bull Street for a promenade through the squares, ending at the Fountain of Forsyth Park, one of Savannah's most famous attractions.

Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or utilize a nearby public parking garage. Pre-paid visitor parking passes are available for purchase at the Parking and Mobility Services office. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

This location is the best. Walking distance to everything and a short drive to others. The area is quiet and the room is cozy. Great food and activities all around.

Perfect location and proximity to River Street, local dining and shops. Floor is a little soft entering the living area but wasn't a problem. The light in the bathroom burned out one morning ju as t before we left for the day. We contacted the property manager and it was back working when we returned. Perfect getaway spot for couples.

Great stay!

Great location, within walking distance from restaurants and river street. Cute place to stay. Will absolutely stay again when we return. Bed could be better.

It was the perfect amount of space for just my husband and I. Cute little garden area outside with plenty of seating to relax, sip wine or sit back and read. Lucky Savannah rentals is the best, easiest company to deal with. They are there to answer any situation that may arise.

Broughton is in a great location

Very convenient to be able to walk to everything. Neighborhood was nice and quiet, great coffee just a block away. A couple minor things to solve would make the stay even better: the only way we could turn off one lamp was to unplug it; the TV came on, the Xfinity box would not, so no TV; the access instructions should explain exactly which unit it is and which one of the 3 lockboxes the code is for; and the blinds are great for privacy but they don’t block out the street lights so the place stays semi light all night - these are minor for us, we’d gladly stay again.

Perfect location. Property is gorgeous. Condition of apartment was a little disappointing. The bed has a very obvious, uncomfortable sag. The microwave is cracked. Toilet seat is loose. Light switch broken.

Quaint place in a great location

As described...we weren't there much as there is so much to do, all within walking distance. I would recommend bringing toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) as the trial sizes they provide were low quality, and I know they don't have to provide anything which is why I gave them a great rating. Parking is on the street and you have to pay between 8am-8pm. We got a $40 ticket for parking on the wrong side, didnt see the street sweep sign, our fault....so look out for that. Overall, great value seeing all the hotels were $400-$700+ a night.

Good location in Savannah

Overall, it was a good stay. Good location, we literally were able to walk to anything. Longest trip we made on feet was like 14 min. The area does get noisy at night, lots of traffic in this area, u can hear ppl walking next to the windows all night. This is also a bottom floor and you can hear everything from whoever is upstairs. I found it difficult to rest because of this but im also not from the city, so im use to the quite country life. The bed was super uncomfortable, it sunk in the middle and me and my husband were basically on top of each other all night! Definitely needs a new bed. I would recommend the stay. Location was worth it! Savannah is beautiful!

Weekend Getaway

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Bed was not comfy and may have actually been broken. Also they could put a small recliner to make sitting a little more comfy. Missing quit a few knobs for cabinets which is easy fix. I wouldn't get the bottom floor again because hear everything from up top. Even could smell smoke from upstairs. Could have cleaned the dust off shutter. The location was great and the patio entrance was very nice. Great walking distance to riverstreet and shopping.

Would stay somewhere else

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay in many airbnb's, but was not impressed with this one! The place is cramped and when there's an upstairs renter so you won't get any peace. It sounds like they're coming through the ceiling. Light fixtures were broken and the toilet didn't work. They fixed the bathroom light, but not the rest. The pictures are deceiving - not worth the price.

Broughton Estates Cottage

Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great experience and the location was awesome for our needs. However, although the property is for 2 people, there is not much space to put anything. Example; only 2 hooks in bathroom for wet towels, etc., no towel racks, no space in shower for shampoo, soap, etc., one mirror in the tiny bathroom. Inexpensive suggestions: Over-the-door hooks, take down some pictures and replace with full length and shorter mirrors. Add a side end table in a corner for toiletries, etc., since there is no space in the bathroom. Have someone take care of the patio garden. Dead flowers in the planters is not very becoming. Provide a key for the side gate that opens to the bedroom. We only had one key for the garden gate. Lastly, there was a horrible screeching noise that sounded like it was coming from the idea what this was, but it did become annoying after the first 24 hours. These are simple fixes that would make this property much more efficient and enjoyable for guests, especially two females! Hire me...I'd love to spruce up your properties. :)

THE SMALL IMPERFECTIONS IN THIS PLACE ARE KNOBS MISSING ON THE KITCHEN CABINETS, HANDLES MISSING ON THE DRESSER, DEAD PLANTS IN THE COURTYARD AND I HAD TO FIX THE BATHROOM DOOR SO IT WOULD SHUT PROPERLY.

Cute Little Spot in Downtown Savannah

We did a have few issues (the code sent didn't work in the lock, the shower didn't drain well and during a hard rain water began dripping from the ceiling) but I will say that a called the office and they were very prompt at addressing the issues and extremely friendly. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As far as location goes, it was great. It's near the river front and close to the symposium I was attending. However, we had a birds nest inside the chimney and the babies chirping kept us up at night and woke us up early. Looked that the company knew about the bird bc cardboard was stuffed up in the chimney as a barrier. The mama bird kept breaking through the barrier and flying in our room. Had to call several times about the situation. They did finally move us to another property late the last night we were there. I am disappointed that they rented this place out knowing there were birds. I would have much rather known about the situation before hand and given the opportunity to chose another property. I will say Candice was very helpful and responded the best.

Small but great location

The property was clean and conveniently located. The bed was wonderful and the host made sure we were taken care of. If you plan on a lot of activities in the North Historic District this is THE spot. If you enjoy Bay St., Broughton St. Shopping, and the Riverfront, by all means, stay here! Forsyth Park and the South Historic District are walkable but almost a mile away. We have visited Savannah many times and have found we enjoy the Riverfront, so this place was perfect for the two of us. It was smaller than we expected it to be, but who stays home all the time on vacation? A great place to enjoy Savannah!
