Marty and Kate are wonderful hosts, their home was beautiful. The home was clean, and stocked with treats and Starbucks Coffey to make us feel welcome. We were within walking distance to the beach and restaurants, yet the neighborhood was quiet. We definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

great location loved the balcony host was very good had lots of little extra goodies to snack on and extra items for use in the bathroom if needed

Fantastic place to stay while in Seattle. The location is lovely, the balcony is a treat and you can see and smell the water from there. I enjoyed the clean, spacious apartment and was grateful to have so many homey accommodations including water, breakfast foods, snacks and a coffee maker. The place was well stocked and I honestly wish I had more time to enjoy all the books about Seattle and its many places to visit.Thank you to Mardy and Kate for such a lovely place to stay- just a block from Alki beach. I enjoyed reading about the history of the home and the area. I look forward to returning soon.

Comfortable and cozy refuge. Well stocked, pretty much everything you need. Great hosts! Wealth of knowledge about the area, restaurants, sights, transportation.

Historical house in Alki

Alki Beach treasure

I stay in a lot of Vrbo locations and I have never seen a better stocked or such a well appointed locale. These are the most thoughtful hosts, in a charming part of Seattle. You can walk to the water, restaurants, etc. Great experience.

Excellent Host

Mary was accommodating in every respect. He hurried to clean up the property so we could check in earlier than expected, even finding the time to secure a beautiful piece of birthday cake for my partner's birthday. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and welk-appointed, with tons of resources for both tourists and history buffs. It's just a beautiful place to stay.

Larry was an awesome guest, kind, quiet, clean and tidy. We welcome him back anytime and highly recommend him to future hosts. Great guy who appreciates VRBO and the host/guest relationship. Excellent communication too.

Perfect Everything!

We had a fabulous stay at this historic home! Our hosts were the best I have experienced! Our apartment literally had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and our hosts even had essentials like butter and cream all ready in the frig for us!! The location was perfect as it was just a block from Alki beach where there was a lovely walking path along the beach and many restaurants within walking distance. I have never written a review, but our great experience spurred me to write one for our lovely hosts!

Great location with everything you need!

We were so impressed with this rental! The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful place from which to explore the Alki area. We were so happy to find that we could walk to our favorite restaurant and the waterfront. Very quiet and a wonderful private deck to enjoy the views. The owners have gone above and beyond to provide everything that you could possibly need. The bed was amazingly comfy, kitchen was well-stocked, tons of info on the area, etc. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Thank you so much to the owners for sharing this delightful home. :)

Excellent hosts and wonderful location!

We loved staying here! The arrangements were just as advertised, and the space was so well appointed, with everything we needed (and more)! The neighborhood is perfect for walks to the beach and local restaurants. Highly recommend!
