Spend the night overlooking the beautiful Texas Hill Country in our custom-built cabin close to music, antiques and true Texas spirit. Enjoy countryside living including a queen size bed, full size futon, newly renovated bathroom with romantic open room bathtub, outside grill and a front porch for relaxing. Pets welcome.

Located near the heart of Texas Wine Country and Luckenbach.

My husband and I had a very nice stay. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities. Directions for the gate were clear and we felt very secure. Host was an excellent communicator and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay

Super quaint, quiet and lovely property. It is just the right amount of removed from the noise without the arduous journey. It had everything for my family-of-four’s easy stay. Beautiful scenery and a plethora of stars at night!If one is in the area (Fredericksburg, Comfort - itself a fun, small town) we can highly recommend Dad’s Cabin!

The accommodations were fine for the most part. There was a hole in the wall behind the futon that needs to be fixed but wasn’t actually a problem. We were really looking forward to using the big beautiful bathtub but the water pressure was so poor we would never have been able to fill it with warm water. Otherwise it was comfortable enough for a 2 day stay.

Great little cabin in the middle of the hill country. 40 minutes from Fredericksburg. I recommend going to Old Tunnel State Park down the road and seeing the bats come out.

I have stayed at this amazing property several times and i absolutely love it! When i want to get away and relax this lovely cabin is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The cabin was very cute and will organized. It was also very private and the scenery was gorgeous. It was about 10 miles off the highway, but the roads were really good. There was a little trouble, hooking up to Internet and managing the television, but otherwise a great place to stay.

This is a really great stay and checks all the boxes for a quiet getaway. It has all the basics of camping with the added bonus of having a bed, TV, and a roof. Luckenbach is a definite must visit on the way to Fredericksburg which is a beautiful 20 minute drive. Bring disposable plates and utensils if you plan on cooking your meals at the cabin. One small frying pan and pot is provided and the kitchen sink is also the bathroom sink. This place is adorable and I highly recommend it!

If you are looking for city lights and a big party this is not the place for you. Quiet and serene this little piece of land disconnects you from the day to day noise of cell phones and city. You will have minimal cell signal here. You have to find that sweet spot in the cabin to get a signal.
