We welcome guests that want to "take in" a true Texas Hill Country experience, no matter what season. A fully equipped retreat located on an Original 1930's Farm. You can enjoy true restorative peace & quiet from a great home-based location for your Hill Country & San Antonio exploring. Only minutes away from restaurants, wineries, breweries, shopping, antiquing & adventure. Boerne has a Walmart, HEB & a Walgreens for groceries or the forgotten travel item.
30-50 mins away: Sea World, Fiesta Texas, San Antonio Zoo & Museums, Enchanted Rock, Natural Bridge Caverns, Fredericksburg, Comfort, Kerrville, New Braunfels, & Schlitterbahn. A cute and perfect place in the growing city of Boerne, TX. Loved the privacy of the guess house and all the nature surrounding it. I will stay again in the future when I return.

Great getaway cottage

We spent 9 days here conducting business and visiting family and friends. The VRBO cottage was a wonderful place to retreat to at the end of the day to relax in the Hill Country. Our hosts were helpful when needed but respectful of our privacy. Very convenient to Boerne and San Antonio.

Peaceful

My fiancé and I spent a weekend in the cute cabin , it had everything we needed and was very nice - the property is so peaceful ! Melissa recommended a great spot for music and we had a great weekend overall

Quiet Country Cottage

The guest house was really a hidden gem! Tucked out of the way for privacy it really gave a taste of the Texas Hill Country vibe. Even tho it is down a country road we were just a short drive away from all that Boerne has to offer. Kitchen is great and bathroom & bedroom have all you need. Can definitely recommend this place.

In Dec 2014, my husband & I bought the heart of what was once a large German farm & ranch. We started a 12-year journey of refurbishing the original house, built in the 1930's. After the farmhouse was remodeled, in 2018-2019 we took an old 75+ yr old "machine shop" and converted it into a brand new, fully up to date, 800 sf chic elegant cottage to share with those who love to travel & explore in style. . The property is a labor of love of old things, and we enjoy bringing it back to life from its former abandoned condition.

Come and enjoy the peace & quiet feel of the heart of what once was a large German farm. You can hear nature and the breeze when you step outside. Our 4 acres are covered with huge Oak Trees where our guests can enjoy multiple outdoor areas. The Cottage is just far enough away from the bustle of downtown & traffic (<10 min), but close enough to enjoy the activities & fair.
White Tail & Axis deer frequently roam the property at dawn & dusk. Goats & cows are our neighbors! During the spring & summer we have lots of Humming Birds & Red Birds, as well as many others all over the property. We are continually trying to improve and add areas of interest for our guest
The Cottage is a cozy, welcoming elegant 800 sf "repurposed" machine shop, with a private deck, parking, & a covered patio. We encourage guests to wander the property and see the numerous birds & wildlife. There is also enough room to park a trailer, if you are towing motorcycles, kayaks, jet skis, etc..

After the farm house became habitable, we took a 75+ yr old "machine shop" and converted it into a fully equipped +/- 800 sf comfortably elegant guest house.
The Master bedroom has a king size bed & full size closet. There is a queen fold out couch in the den, with clean bedding in the hall closet. A Spa Bathroom with a walk in shower and big, fluffy towels await you. There are full size appliances in the amply stocked kitchen. A private Guest House Deck & a separate covered patio are available for morning coffee & evening wine!
Because of the animals & pets that already call the farm home, we are a pet free facility. Also, we do not mind if guests smoke, However smoking is only permitted on the guest deck or covered patio and not inside the guest house, please.
