We loved our stay and this beautiful cabin. It was exactly as described. We will definitely stay here next time we are in West Virginia.

Enjoyable stay

Coming and going went smoothly, stay was comfortable. We visited several areas doing some ancestry hunting. Weather was great. It was a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Cozy, charming, and relaxing place. A wonderfully inspiring cabin for rejuvenation and creative writing. Property owner was terrific.

Very enjoyable relaxing stay

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay on this beautiful, peaceful property! The cabin was cozy and clean. The antique decor brought back so many childhood memories! Would definitely recommend for someone looking to unwind.

This place felt like stepping into a cozy little time capsule in the best way.We came for a weekend reset and it delivered. Pipestem Resort State Park was a short drive away with great hiking, and Dolly’s Diner, about 10 to 15 minutes out, was so good we went twice. Affordable and delicious.The property is beautiful, with mature trees, picnic tables, and a large fire pit that made for perfect slow evenings. The marshmallow sticks on the sun porch were a thoughtful touch.Inside, everything was very comfortable, and the decor added so much character. Vintage pieces throughout, including white nightgowns in the bedrooms and a spinning wheel in the loft.We also loved the printed history of the farm and local recommendations waiting on the kitchen table.Peaceful, a little nostalgic, and genuinely relaxing. We would absolutely stay again.

Best Place to Stay EVER.

This was our second stay at the cabin and once again, it did not disappoint. Everything about this place is exceptional. We love the antique decor, the peaceful surroundings, the comfortable bed, and Diesel the dog! The kitchen and bath are furnished so well with anything you could possibly need. We only hope we can stay there again!!

Weekend getaway

This place was just as described. We enjoyed getting back early each evening just to sit in the sunroom or walk along the field. And we liked having the kitchen for breakfast as well. Just a very pleasant stay if you like old cabins and antiques.

Celebrating 54th Wedding Anniversary

A Wonderful place to get away and relax! Beautiful historic cabin built by the owner's grandfather. Loved reading the story of this family. Great for couples. Also lots of places to visit nearby. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks Carla!

Nice and quiet

A little hard to find the driveway after dark, but a nice quiet place to relax. And the guard dog is a great companion for your nature walks, he is a gentle giant.

Wonderful stay

I had a very nice stay at the cabin. It’s exactly as described. It was comfortable and had everything you need. Diesel was a welcomed friend as well. He came by in the mornings for his biscuit and even kept me company by the campfire. I’d definitely rent again.

We absolutely loved this property, a first for my husband and I to stay in a historic home. We got the feeling of being back in time when we entered the home. So beautifully decorated!!! Thanks to the owner for allowing us to stay in your family home!!! Beautiful farm!!!

PEACE

It was so peaceful-something I needed for a minute in time. Perfect location to Princeton, which is where I had to do some business as well as where my relatives live. I loved watching the deer play in the field. They were truly beautiful.
