Lovely mountain cabin that was clean & very comfortable! I wish we could have stayed longer and explored more. House is closer to Sandstone falls.

You cannot beat the view from this lovely property. It's absolutely breathtaking. Our visit was a refreshing respite from the hustle and bustle of modern life. My family members and I loved our visit and highly recommend this property to others.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The mountain views were absolutely stunning and made for such a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The home was spotless and impeccably clean when we arrived, which immediately made us feel comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the space was cozy, comfortable, and very inviting. The host was incredibly nice, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay again. Highly recommend!

Hey Jeanine, the new River gorge bridge is a little further at about 40 minutes but the new River itself in Hinton is only 20 minutes away.

The views were impressive and the place was clean with a great layout that worked for our family. Our kids enjoyed the mushroom trail. It was very easy to check in and all information about the property and surrounding area was easy to find. Great place to stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at Mountain Top Retreat! We were there on Aug. 9–11 and decided to stay one more day on our way back—and that was the best decision! We got to enjoy the beautiful night sky, taking in the incredible views while watching meteors streak across the sky. The views truly felt like a million-dollar experience! We also got to experience another breathtaking sunrise. It was the perfect place to unwind, relax, and take a much-needed break from our busy daily schedule—exactly what we needed.Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with us. We had an amazing stay and hope to be back again sometime soon!

The house is very comfortable and clean and matches the pictures. And the view is incredible! But the house is also pretty isolated. It’s at least 15 minutes from a very small grocery and more like 30 from a decent Kroger. It was 30-60 minutes from New River Gorge National Park, depending on which part of the park you’re exploring, so it wasn’t a convenient home base. But it would be a great place for just relaxing in the mountains!

Incredible place!!! We stayed here to break up our trip from Michigan to South Carolina, and it was the perfect place to unwind and spread out with our kids. Clean, easy to find and get into, and incredible views! Wish we could have spent more time here, hope to come back. We stayed on the 4th of July, it was so beautiful to sit on the front deck and watch all the fireworks overlooking the gorge. Kitchen was great, we used the grill to cookout on when we got there, and then also made breakfast before we left. Everything we needed and more!!Ohhhh and the sunrise from the loft bed was incredible to wake up to. Thank you !!!!

Beautiful cabin, everything looks very new, high end appliances. Beds were super comfy! View from the front deck and living area can’t be beat, beautiful sunrises and we even saw a full double rainbow from the deck. Would absolutely stay here again!!
