Couples Getaway at a Perfect Location

We vacationed with 2 other couples and the way the rooms are designed there is plenty of privacy and beautiful beach views from every bedroom. Plenty of spacious living area, comfortable furniture, amazing patio. Everything from check in to check out was topnotch. The spa area is so amazing.

Great resort, lots to do and staff very helpful and friendly. Great condo. Recommend the resort and this specific unit, it was excellent and I would go there again.

The overall property is attractive and well-maintained, and the condo unit itself is very nice. -- Check-in was smooth and easy. -- There were three or four minor things in the condo that we reported to the Property Management company that owned our unit, but they were items for them to fix and not problems that affected our stay. -- Oven in kitchen did not heat properly, and many of the non-stick cookware items need to be replaced because they have been scratched up and are disintegrating, which is a health risk. -- Balcony furniture is much better than the wicker that was there before (from photos and reviews). -- View is great: you can see the entire beach! -- Swimming pools and health club are good attractions. -- Food at restaurants is good--not "exceptional," but more than adequate for us. -- Check-out was easy, but my key-card quit working two hours before check-out, and it took me 57 minutes and three trips to the office to get back into the unit. We enjoyed our stay even though the rain kept us off the beach for most of two days. We are considering going to this property again; however, it is a little more than we like to pay when going to the beach.

Great location and view of ocean! Linens on master/king bed were not washed as it appeared to be fine hair/pet hair? Bring towels as they were limited for the 8 of us.

Best beacviews !!!!! Gorgeous views in every room!!!! Perfect unit for what we needed. Bring some towels with you. Dryer aliittle confusing and slow to dry your clothes. Loved the beach umbrella that was left in the room for use. Balcony was huge and perfect! Loved the furniture on the balcony. Pools were great!

Fabulous Stay!

I must admit, we were a bit concerned about our reservation due to some previous reviews. It turned out that none of the negative feedback was true! The condo is stunning and in fabulous condition. The place was spotless when we arrived and the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The view from the balcony was absolutely perfect. Communication with management was clear and available via text, which made it that much easier. We highly recommend this condo to anyone considering a stay at Portofino.

Beautiful location - great amenities

We stayed for my mother's 60th birthday and we have a great time. The location is great -- not too far of a walk from the room to the beach or to the pool(s). We utilized the workout center, main pool, swimside bar and adventure park while we stayed. House itself was mostly clean, though the grout and floor tiles are disgusting. Left our feet black on the bottoms and appears that the floor hasnt ever been cleaned. I expect a much cleaner home for the amount of money we paid for the rental as well as the additional $250+ cleaning fee charged by Gulf Coast Rentals. Beds were comfortable, view was amazing. There is a grill on the property but it barely got hot. We cooked all meals except one in the kitchen and did pretty well with the tools and utensils provided. The resort itself is beautiful. No poolside towel service which is odd for a beach/pool resort. Prepare to be nickel and dimed for everything. Want a drink? $20. Want to sit on a chair? $45 All in all a good experience, but the cleanliness was my main issue.

This unit was just beautiful -- we have stayed at Portofino about 7 times over the years and this condo was perfect! Love the kitchen especially and so thankful all the beds were really comfortable ... Would highly recommend and we hope to be back again - Had a fantastic time with the family here :)

Family vacation

Property was beautiful- Decor and beach view could not of been better- The washer/dryer combo was very inconvenient. Two separate machines would of been more time efficient and gotten laundry done more quickly. Also, only had one kitchen towel and no pot scrubbers- Overall though we loved it and would recommend to friends.

Beautiful views!

We had a great trip! The condo was perfect, beautiful views, and the kids loved the pools. The only dislike was the longer walk to the beach, you have to cross a road, thankfully there wasn’t too much traffic.

This condo was fantastic! Exactly as shown and represented on VRBO with a great location, clean and furnished very nicely. We've rented at Portofino numerous times, and this one is the top of our list going forward!!!

Summer 2022

The unit was very nice as we have been going to Portofino for the past 7 years. Only major issue was they should’ve coordinated with us to align on the 2,500 high school age kids that were scheduled that week for Church Week. From 12-4pm for the week it was impossible to use the pool or close by beach area. Not for the price I paid

Ocean views! Up-to-date property that was in very good working order. The only complaint might be the lack of ice produced by the icemaker.

Beautiful property! Amazing views! Exceptional communication from the property management team to prepare us for our stay. I stayed with my 5 yo, 7yo, and my mom. This is perfect spot for a luxurious family getaway :)

Great beach trip!

Trip as great! The beach and resort was beautiful. The condo was nice and decorated and furnished well. Only improvement would be to have the condo cleaner. The floors under beds and furniture needed a good sweeping and the rugs needed a good cleaning. A suggestion would be to have a vacuum in the unit, it would help the guests keep the unit clean during their stay.

If I could give zero stars I would. Vacationers be aware of Golf Coast Getaways Portofino.

We booked our family vacation at Portofino in Pensacola through Golf Coast Getaways with Vrbo. The unit was simply dirty, and unsafe. Upon arrival our sliding bedroom door was off the hinges and hanging. My granddaughter was with us who is 18months old what tragedy that could of been if it fell on her. a All Linens on the beds were soiled and we had to replace them ourselves. Mold on the shower curtains. Oven did not reach temperature. Kitchen refrigerator made ice intermittently . We had to go out and buy ice. Fire alarms hanging from wires on the walls. Cushions and furniture were all stained and dirty. Most cushions on outside wicker furniture were missing, made it hard to sit on. My adult children had no where to put their cloths as the walk in closet had no shelfs or hooks to hang anything they were ripped out off the walls. Constant problem with Ants. We changed the air filter in the furnace unit smelled musty when we walked and found filter looked like it had not been changed in a year. Floors were so dirty our feet were black everyday. Golf Coast Getaways told us it was the porous tile they never come clean, what a joke . When reaching out to the Property Management Golf Coast Getaways they were unaccommodating , disrespectful, condescending. We were referred to as "you people who complain" and were told why don't we just enjoy the weather and the view. There is a reason why this company has a 1.9 rating on google reviews. I would never rent any unit through Golf Coast Getaways. We have used VRBO for the past ten years and have rented many many fabulous places, this by far was the number 1 disaster.
