Paradise awaits you at this luxury Gulf-front Penthouse condominium that sleeps 6 adults. Enjoy spectacular and unobstructed SKY VIEWS of the Gulf of Mexico’s sugar-white sands and emerald-green waters from this exclusive unit. As you enter, you are greeted by a spectacular view of the Gulf that invites you to relax and unwind.
Throughout the condo you will find upscale finishes such as soaring 11-foot- trey ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, crown molding, tile flooring, and granite countertops. Relax on your private balcony (which can be accessed from all of the bedrooms and living room) while relishing in the picture-perfect views of the Gulf of Mexico and Intercoastal Waterway, all while enjoying beautiful sunrises and sunsets while watching dolphins play in the waters below. The 170-square-foot balcony with outdoor furniture also features a built-in electric grill, perfect for outdoor cookouts year-round! Portofino Features: A 21,000 sq ft. Lifestyle Center on-site includes a European spa, concierge services, fitness center, and restaurants. The amenities are endless: five rubico tennis courts, the Portofino Market, Starbucks Café, smoothie bar, heated indoor Olympic swimming pool, and two infinity-edge outdoor pools overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway. Each Tower has its own private heated pool and hot tub. All of this is on-site for your convenience, as well as, a variety of water sport rentals, bikes, mini cars, golf carts and much more. You also have the option of hopping on the trolley to explore the rest of the island's dining, shopping and night life. Portofino Resort & Residence is known for its sugar-white sandy beaches, emerald-green waters and the wonderful Intercoastal Waterway and Pensacola Beach lifestyle.

Of note, Portofino charges $80 to check in and $10-20 each additional day for their amenity fees (different per season). Amenity fee simply goes to Portofino (not to the owner) which covers your use of the resort facility pools, Jacuzzis, and fitness room.

We would love to have you return here to ‘SweptAway Portofino.’ I think your review is one of the only ones to not mention the beautiful gulf/coastal views😅, but folks can easily see for themselves what we mean by that from the pictures, so we appreciate you pointing out other details, such as cleanliness and of course the fully stocked kitchen. In fact, one of the most common kitchen questions is if there is a coffee pot or Keurig present. (For those of you that have not yet stayed here, the answer is BOTH, because we highly recommend waking early at least one morning to watch the sunrise. ☕️ 🌅)

You are welcome to return, but things are filling up faster now that the summer is really here. You may want to go ahead and book again soon as we love having return guests, and would be bummed if we could not get you the dates you wanted because they are already booked. Views from every room were breathtaking as advertised! The suite was very clean and the beach and pools were great. The resort itself has so many amenities you don’t even have to leave the property.

Absolutely worth every penny. The view from the balcony alone is worth it. Beautiful Penthouse Suite with a beautiful view. Assigned covered parking spot & 2 minute walk to the beach.

Nice property. Main pool was a little expensive but each building has its own pool so that was nice. Condo fees were a bit harsh as you think it’s all included in the price you pay for the rental but they have more fees when you check in…we were there for a week and it cost us an extra 215.00 on top of the week rental so be prepared for that. View was fantastic from the condo.

Hello. Hello. We are glad you enjoyed your stay despite those pesky resort fee add-ons. As you know, we do post about them in the listing because we do not want to be accused of hiding anything or springing extra costs on our guests, and as I like to explain, we are not making anything from those as they are required by Portofino. Similarly, the VRBO (or similar) fees also add a lot to the guests’ total, so those fees are also decreasing the number of bookings we get, so understandably, we don’t like the fees at all either. Having said that, trying direct options have not been successful for us as no one finds our condo that way despite our efforts, and at least we do tend to get very good guests (like you) through these services, so VRBO (or similar) it is. Shifting gears, I am not certain what you meant by the main pool was a bit expensive as it IS included in those previously mentioned pesky resort fees. Did you mean the restaurant with the pool side meals? I can’t argue that. They also have their fancier restaurant, and being frugal myself I would say it is a little higher than I would like, BUT for a resort and not having to leave the grounds, or even the pool side, I think they keep it reasonable. (It is definitely more fairly priced than movie concessions or a baseball game meal…..although I do still highly recommend checking out one of the weekend Blue Wahoo baseball games. (Stadium at the water so almost always a nice breeze and usually REAL fireworks afterward.))

From the well stocked kitchen. The new chairs on the balcony gave an amazing view to watching the fog roll in in the morning to the amazing sunsets at night. The grand babies enjoyed the great pools. And of course amazing beach. I stayed in this condo before and would highly recommend it. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
