My family had a wonderful time. It was very convenient to have access to the canal and a pool. We had plenty of space and the property was clean. We will definitely be staying again.

We stayed for a night for Father’s Day weekend and everything was pretty clean. There was A/C in every bedroom. Plenty of parking for a big family like mine. We enjoyed our stay

Everything worked properly, parking was easy, check in and out was easy and property was perfect for our group even caught a Flounder off the deck!!Really appreciated the communication asking how our stay was and how we were doing.Thank you!

Excellent location, we loved the dock and being right on the canal. Good value for money in an off peak time, but probably not worth it with peak pricing. The house is sorely in need of work and updates, and the cleanliness was lacking (inside was ok but outside was littered in cigarette butts). The property management company were easy to communicate with and when the pool pump wasn’t working they did send someone out same day to fix it - points awarded there

We spent a lot of money and realized when we arrived, your photos were completely deceiving. This is our annual family beach trip and expect to get what you pay for.We were so disappointed. Perfect property for our beach/fishing getaway! We loved fishing on the canal, and the short drive to Jamaica beach was perfect! The house had great ourdoor space for hanging out, and nice cool AC after a hot day at the beach!

The best thing about this property is the kids loved the pool and there are plenty of (uncomfortable and broken) beds. Internet didn't work upon arrival, called maintenance but ended up fixing it myself. Roaches crawling up walls and on kitchen counters. Specifically asked if there were crab traps and was told yes, but there were none. House needs major updating. Safety gate is broken. Screened in deck is not screened in at all, Fence is not dog proof. Showers are tiny except master bedroom, where the toilet area is tiny.Great location tho! We had a great time despite all these things. The multiple AC units kept the house cool. The downstairs rooms made it easy for elderly guests to enjoy. Quiet neighborhood. Kids fished the whole week!

Family Time

The accommodations were great! There was plenty of room for everyone. There was plenty of things to do at the house, swimming in the pool and fishing from the pier.

Great Stay

This Jamaica Beach house was great! There were 14 of us there and we had an amazing time fishing off the dock and enjoying time on the back porch overlooking the canal! The house was very clean! I had to communicate with the owner during our stay and he replied quickly!

We arrived late and it was super easy to get settled in. We couldn't have asked for a better quick trip. Everything in the house was clean and comfortable.

Mixed stay – responsive host, but real issues remain. Book with caution. The host was responsive: sent cleaners for a touch up after I found crumbs and trash in a bed, changed sheets and vacuumed. I had to message again about safety, like 2 large holes in the deck over the water. They patched the holes. Appreciated the effort, but it didn't fix the real problems. What's really disappointing is I specifically asked before booking if safety issues had been fixed, and was told yes.Safety: Main deck still doesn't feel solid despite patches, lighting never fixed. Upper deck shakes when you walk on it and has loose boards, we avoided it entirely. Outdoor lights and fan remotes don't work, still a lot unaddressed. Keys provided don't lock the house.Cleanliness: Even after 2 cleanings, thick dust & grime cover the house. Mold & mildew in the shower was so bad it came off onto us while showering. One bathroom has no toilet paper holder, so the roll was left on the floor. Gross. Bad dust allergies? Skip this one.Listing accuracy: Listing photos look like they're from when it was new, not now. No boat sling like advertised. Couch has a hole, dishwasher missing its front framing.Other notes: no outlets in downstairs bathroom, kitchen drawers falling apart, pans are subpar (oven/stove fine), foosball table broken in spots, outdoor TV doesn't work. Bring towels/blankets, no shade by the pool so bring an umbrella.Good: fishing was good, pool was nice.
