The Beach and Surf is Just Steps Away!

As seen on HGTV’s Beach Front Bargain Hunt season 25 premiere!

Built in 2014, this updated beach house is steps away from the water. Guests can entertain family and relax in and out with 3 bedroom 3 bath home with 4 decks, which all have views of the ocean and bay. The home will provide accommodations for 10 and provides a kitchen which is stocked with all the utensils and cookware to satisfy the chef in you. The living room and dining table has plenty of seating to eat, play games or work on a puzzle. There’s patio seating underneath the home as well as an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) to be enjoyed after a day playing at the beach.

Tip Sea Turtle has many other amenities all included. Brand new furniture, high quality towels and linens. There is a full size washer and dryer. Each queen and full bed have memory foam mattress covers on them. High speed WiFi, DVDs, family games and puzzles to maximize family time.

Packing everything you need for the beach takes a lot of room. So we keep beach chairs and a wagon for your use. Even a shovel to help you dig a hole for a bonfire.

The home has 2 master bedrooms that each have a queen sized bed. One with a full bath and the other a 3/4 bath. The 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds, single over full. All bedrooms are on the second floor and there is also a 3/4 bath on the main floor. Enjoy ocean views from both master bedrooms.

There is a cleaning fee to pay the house keeper for thoroughly cleaning the house after every guest stay. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your vacation!

Easy check in/out. Guests will receive an unique code that will be active throughout their stay. No rusty lock box to tackle.

Surfside is a quiet village a little over an hour away from Houston. This one traffic light town has beach front dining, a couple convenient stores along with food trucks on the weekends. There is great surf fishing and a crabbing pier to be enjoyed. Walk along the beach or jetty and watch dolphins and turtles swim by.

Tip Sea Turtle isn’t just a rental property but our dream vacation home. We have and will continue to add to the comforts for our family and yours to enjoy time together. We truly hope your family will enjoy your vacation here as much as our family does. Although in a house pic, grill has been removed.

Beautiful place, fantastic time! The house was clean and had all the necessity. The host were amazing and fast to respond when message. The view was beautiful, the beach was so close and the water was so warm! The outdoor shower was such a great idea by them, hot and cold water! The beds were so comfortable! The Tipsy Turtle was a fantastic place for our family vacation! The owner was incredibly responsive and helped us resolve a couple of small issues (that were actually caused by my family) quickly and graciously.The home is spacious, very clean, and well maintained. It was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect. It truly felt like a home away from home.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and I highly recommend The Tipsy Turtle to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway!

We enjoyed our short stay at the beach. Loved the beach chairs available at the house, free parking, walkable access to the beach, and the outdoor shower to wash off sand - made the trip much easier! Our Host was quick to answer our questions and helped us when we checked in. Everything was clean and tidy. We also enjoyed the porches in the evening and the next morning. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Everything was as advertised. Owner was good with communications and responded quickly to questions I had. It was a short walking distance to a bridge that lead directly onto the beach.

We had a great time at the TipSea Turtle. The house has easy access to the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing and talking. Check in and out was a breeze.

The location was amazing, close to beach and walkable distance to all the restaurants in this small coastal town.The home was well stocked and clean. The rental rates are a great bang for the buck. My communication with the host, Kale was easy and comfortable. Our family of four were extremely comfortable in this home; felt cozy, safe, and well stocked.

We had a reading retreat with friends. House was comfortable for 6 people to relax, enjoy time together. Everywhere was clean beyond my expectations. Owner thought every detail. They have beach chairs, camping chairs, gas grill and cutest swings. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels. Beach access was close enough to hear waves crashing. Besides this, landlord is easy to communicate, fast responding and focus to help not dismissive. Thank you Kale! We will definitely visit this place again.

This was the nicest play we have stayed in Surfside. Very convenient to the beach, great communication from host, and the place was very clean.

Philip, thank you for writing this review and recognizing the work we put into the home. Most after Hurricane Beryl (updated floors and all new bathrooms). The location to the beach is wonderful. In fact I’m writing this drinking coffee and watching the waves. Also, thank you for talking about Sandy’s work. She is the best house cleaner on the island. I hope you come back and stay again.

Our family has always enjoyed traveling and spending time together. As our children have grown older and times get busier we wanted a place close by that we could escape to and relax. The water views and relaxing ocean sounds make this the ideal place.

Surfside Beach is a beautiful little town perfectly arranged for a family vacation. Our property is perfectly situated 50 yards from the beach and an easy stroll to restaurants or stores. Watch the sunrise from the front decks with coffee in hand or sunsets off the back decks toasting with your favorite drink.
