Very nice house with excellent access to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park where we saw lots of bison and burros. Also there is a great walking and biking trail nearby.

Place was clean with easy check-in/check-out. Great location in downtown Hill City. The fenced backyard was a plus and seating on the deck. Would definitely stay again!

Great accommodation with lots of beds. Double/Queen/King beds are soft whilst singles are firmer. Host is nearby to assist with recommendations and any issues- we had none. You are near a lot of restaurants and convenience stores etc.

Location of home is perfect. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants. Home could use a little updating, but was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you are in the area.

Ken was a great host and always available if needed! Home has lots of space for small and large families! Absolutely great location to soo many attractions in the area. Pretty well appointed house, kitchen could use better cooking pots!… Back yard was great, but not accessible directly from house. No covered parking.Great patio for late afternoon and evening. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance!Hill City Steam train right across the street… great fun for families!We loved it… would recommend to families.

Check in and out process was easy. Even though our host was traveling in Europe he was quick about his response time. The outside of the property was clean, but the inside was not. It’s definitely in need of some fresh paint and a good scrubbing. The main bathroom has lint and hair on the walls from months past. The shower curtain was dirty and could have easily been washed. I’m not sure the last time the tables and chairs were moved to clean. The vacuum was easily located and we did some light cleaning, just not what vacationers want to do upon arrival.

Family hills trip

We had a great time in Hill City. We’ve been to the area many times and really enjoyed staying near downtown. The house worked perfect for our family.

Conveniently located to visit Black Hills attractions. Plenty of room to be together as a family or spread out when kids got tired of each other!

The location is perfect! The home is so cozy and clean. Ken is prompt to respond to questions and is so accommodating. I appreciate his hospitality and the work he puts into this property for people to enjoy. I would love to stay here again if we end up in Hill City for another event.
