Big Mountain Cabins is centrally located in the Black Hills, just a few miles from Keystone. We are minutes from many of the Black Hills main attraction, like Mount Rushmore, Bear Country, Custer State Park, Reptile Gardens, 1880 Train, and Crazy Horse. Hike Boulder Hill Trail, Storm Mountain Trail, Flume Trail, and the Strato Bowl. Enjoy a day at the lake like Sheridan, and Pactola. If you are looking to stay in a cabin just a short drive to all the attractions. Then Big Mountain Cabins is where you want to stay!

Cabin #3 offers a kitchen stocked with dinner ware, pot and pan, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, and outdoor grill. Rest on a king size ultra-luxury hybrid plush mattress on the main floor, and two queen size ultra-luxury hybrid plush mattresses in the loft. This cabin also has a fully furnished bathroom with a full tub and shower, towels and linens are provided.

For all you hiking enthusiasts, this cabin is close to many national forest trails including Boulder Hill Mountain Trail. This trail head is 2.2 miles from Cabin #3. And for all you mountain bike enthusiasts, this cabin is 2 miles from Storm Mountain Trail. Storm Mountain trail offers 11.61 miles of pure fun!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Our cabins are on a hillside and there is only enough parking for one vehicle. If you have a extra vehicle, trailer, or motorcycle please message us before you make your reservation.
- If you are riding on a motorcycle, we ask that you be an experienced rider. The road to the cabins are loose gravel with three switchbacks. If you have any questions please message us.

This was our first time in South Dakota. Jenn and Jude were great hosts. We had all the essentials and the cabin was very clean and well set up. The location was great, too. Close to everything we planned on visiting. We would definitely stay here again!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here during our family trip to the Black Hills. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax after long days of exploring the area. The location was perfect — close to all the attractions while still feeling peaceful and quiet.The hosts clearly put a lot of care into the property, and it made a big difference in our experience. Our family especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and how easy everything was from check-in to check-out.We made so many great memories here and would absolutely stay again the next time we visit the Black Hills. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in this cabin. The king size bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The loft area would be great for another couple or kids to stay. It was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. It is nice and close to food options but our favorite place was Powder House Lodge and we went there daily for at least one of our meals. Communication was easy with our host. They got back to us in a very reasonable time when we had a question. We would definitely come back and stay if we returned to the area again.

Jude and Jenn are the owners and operators of Big Mountain Cabins. Jude is a skilled log home builder, and has been building log homes for 30 years. In fact Jude built each cabin from the ground up. Jenn has experience in hotel management and a degree in Business administration. Both took their talents and built Big Mountain Cabins. Jude and Jenn have lived in the Black Hills for a good part of their lives. Jenn is actually a fifth generation to live in the Black Hills. A fun fact is the cabins are located a mile from where Jenn's great great grandparents homestead. Jude and Jenn are proud to call the Black Hills their home!
