We had a wonderful stay. The Condo had the best beach access with walk out patio perfect for kids to run out and play in the grass or watch the tortoises. It is very well-stocked and has comfortable beds and linens.

Overall, a good stay. Close to the beach in a great condo community. Place was relatively clean. Kitchen lacking some dishes and cookware. Comfortable furniture and beds.

We checked out today and miss this place already! Loved the beach view out of the windows and the back patio area! The grandsons loved being able to walk right out onto the beach! A slight negative- the walk thru the dune is a bit strenuous and my disabled son was not able to make the walk. However he was able to navigate the path to the pool and loved swimming there! We saw so many tortoises! Great memories were made and wish we could have stayed longer! We definitely hope to come back next year!

The property location and layout is good—close to beach and pool with a large ground-level porch. Two of the three bedrooms are spacious. The primary suite is the best we have had in Fernindina Beach. The kitchen appliances need replacing. The ice maker did not work and maintenance said a part was on order. The dishwasher is rickety. The microwave and garbage disposal work well. The owners have beach chairs, beach towels, and a great folding wagon for unloading the car. The unit, while renovated, is starting to show some wear. The sheet rock needs repair in a few places. We will rent this unit again especially if new appliances are added.

Perfect location!

First time here and you can't beat the location. The ground floor is great for access to the beach; which is right outside the unit and the pool is right behind you. Unit is a little dated and needs some basic cooking spices but was great for the 6 of us that stayed. Would definitely come again.

Location, location, location

This is a nice sized ground floor unit with fantastic ocean views and is close to the pool. We have stayed in various Sailmaker properties and love the area. This property is in a fantastic location. The decor is dated and there are some places that could be better cleaned. However, the kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the beds are very comfortable. The size was perfect for our family of five. We would rent this property again.

We like the location and condo was as advertised

We enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were fine for us. We will probably stay again although with our family we prefer three bathrooms. The condo was not as clean as we would have liked and could use an update. I was surprised we never heard from the property manager once we arrived and disappointed we never received a reply to our phone calls or emails when asking for an extra two hours of stay before check out.

We would have most definitely sent housekeeping back in to address any issues if we would have known you weren't pleased with the condition of the property. Lastly, although our "office" is closed on holiday weekends, we are always available via our answering service, however, they only call us with "emergency situations" We suggest sending us a message through Vrbo which would come directly to us instantly. This unit is well photographed and full of “eye candy”.

This unit is well photographed and full of “eye candy”. It is certainly true that all the positive features shown are present. Also true is a substantial amount of delayed maintenance such as light bulb replacement, ability of doors and windows to operate within human strength limits, loose wallpaper clusters and a squirting shower head in the master bathroom. A special comment is appropriate about the heating and circulation system. It is based on a heat pump and appears to be original equipment; the upgraded thermostat device in this unit never switched off therefore the system fan circulated 100% of the time either on circulation, auto or the on setting. Perhaps more irksome than anything but who goes on vacation to inherit another guy’s delayed maintenance list? We made a conscious decision that we would enjoy our time regardless of the issues and we did. On the other hand, we will not use this unit again particularly at the comparable price point we paid.

Needed get-away

This was, by far, the easiest checkin I have experienced. The unit was clean and was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked with items that made it easy to prepare meals. I LOVED being on the first floor and being able to see the ocean from kitchen and living room. I will definitely stay here again!!
